- step (S04) the process of step (S04) is performed and the bias current (Ib) is updated to Ib (t2). That is, in this magnetic bearing (20), the bias current (Ib) is semi-fixed.
- the value of IL approaches 0. That is, when the value of the bias current (Ib) is updated so that the value of the bias current (Ib) approaches the value of the control current (Id), the average value of the lower coil current (IL) decreases and approaches zero. (Ideally 0).
- the average value of the lower coil current (IL) decreases at time (t2).
- the upper coil current (IU) is also controlled by the current controller (32) so that the difference between the upper coil current (IU) and the lower coil current (IL) becomes a value necessary for position control. Is done.
- the average value (for example, integrated average) of the upper coil current (IU) also decreases.
- the lower coil current (IL) may be controlled to a negative value. Therefore, as described above, the power supply device (40) is configured to allow the lower coil current (IL) to flow in both forward and reverse directions.
- the load (Ld) fluctuates at time (t2 + ⁇ ). If the load (Ld) varies, the current command value also varies. In this example, the upper coil current (IU) decreases and the lower coil current (IL) increases, and as a result, the difference between the upper coil current (IU) and the lower coil current (IL) is reduced.
- the value of the bias current (Ib) used for calculating the upper and lower coil currents (IU, IL) at this time is Ib (t2).
- step (S04) the process of step (S04) is performed and the bias current (Ib) is updated to Ib (t3).
- Ib (t3) decreases and the average value of the lower coil current (IL) decreases.
- the average value of the upper coil current (IU) also decreases. That is, in this embodiment, since the bias current (Ib) is updated at a predetermined cycle, the lower coil current (IL) can be reduced following the fluctuation of the load (Ld).
- FIG. 7 is a timing chart illustrating changes in the upper and lower coil currents (IU, IL) when the feedback gain (Kc) is adjusted.
- FIG. 7 illustrates a state where the load (Ld) decreases and the amplitude of the drive shaft (13) does not change before and after the load (Ld) decreases. In this case, as shown in FIG. 7, the fluctuation range of the current difference between the upper coil current (IU) and the lower coil current (IL) is large.
- the upper and lower coil currents (IU) are updated by sequentially updating the bias current (Ib) value so that the bias current (Ib) value approaches the control current (Id) value.
- IL can be reduced. Therefore, in this embodiment, it becomes possible to reduce the power consumption in the magnetic bearings (20, 20).
- the average value decreases means that the average value approaches zero, but for example, the control unit (30 so that the lower coil current (IL) gradually approaches a value other than zero. ) May be configured.
- FIG. 8 is a flowchart for explaining adjustment of the bias current according to the modification of the first embodiment.
- the bias current adjustment unit (34) updates the value of the bias current (Ib) with a predetermined step width (Istep). Specifically, the bias current adjustment unit (34) performs the operations from step (S11) to step (S18) shown in FIG.
- the processing from step (S11) to step (S13) is the same as the processing from step (S01) to step (S03) described in the first embodiment.
- step (S14) the bias current adjustment unit (34) compares the value of the bias current (Ib) with the value of the control current (Id). As a result of the comparison, if the value of the bias current (Ib) is larger than the value of the control current (Id), the process proceeds to step (S15), and if not, the process proceeds to step (S16). .
- the bias current adjusting unit (34) decreases the bias current (Ib) by a predetermined step width (Istep). That is, the bias current adjusting unit (34) calculates Ib ⁇ Istep as a new bias current (Ib).
- step (S16) the bias current adjustment unit (34) compares the value of the bias current (Ib) with the value of the control current (Id). As a result of the comparison, if the value of the bias current (Ib) is smaller than the value of the control current (Id), the process proceeds to step (S17), and if not, the process proceeds to step (S18). .
- step (S17) the bias current adjusting unit (34) increases the bias current (Ib) by a predetermined step width (Istep). That is, the bias current adjusting unit (34) calculates Ib + Istep as a new bias current (Ib).
- the current controller (32) sets the voltage command values for the upper and lower coils so that the upper and lower coil currents (IU, IL) obtained by the relational expression (C) flow. Output to the power supply (40).
- the bias current adjustment unit (34) sets the bias current (Ib) value to a predetermined step width (Istep) so that the bias current (Ib) value approaches the control current (Id) value. ) Is increased or decreased.
- step (S18) as in step (S05) of the first embodiment, the position controller (31) is set according to the command value generated by the gain controller (33) based on the relational expression (B). Update the feedback gain (Kc) in position control.
- the value of the bias current (Ib) approaches the value of the control current (Id) by the operation of the bias current adjusting unit (34). Therefore, also in the present embodiment, the upper and lower coil currents (IU, IL) can be reduced, and the power consumption in the magnetic bearings (20, 20) can be reduced.

- the stator (21) is provided with two core portions (22).
- Each of the core portions (22) has a ring shape and is disposed with a predetermined air gap on both axial sides of the thrust disk (13a).
- each core portion (22) has a circumferential groove (22c) formed on the side facing the thrust disk (13a), and a coil (23) is accommodated in the circumferential groove (22c).

- the “upper coil” has an attractive force (electromagnetic force (FU)) in a direction opposite to the direction of the load (Ld) in the thrust direction (axial direction) applied to the drive shaft (13).
- This corresponds to the coil (23) of the electromagnet (24) to be generated
- the “lower coil” is the coil of the electromagnet (24) that generates the attractive force (electromagnetic force (FL)) in the same direction as the load (Ld).

- the electromagnets (24) related to the coils assumed to be the upper and lower coils may be pulled with the same force, and position control may become unstable.
- the control gain (Kc) at the same time if the upper coil current (IU) becomes too small, the control gain (Kc) becomes too large and the internal variables and command voltage of the controller are saturated. Position control may become unstable.
- control unit (30) has a restriction that there is a magnitude of the sum of the average value of the upper coil current (IU) and the average value of the lower coil current (IL). It is preferable to adjust the lower coil current (IL) so that it does not fall below the value.
- the bias current (Ib) is controlled so that the magnitude of the absolute value of the bias current (Ib) does not fall below a threshold value determined according to the operating condition of the magnetic bearing (20). Similarly, even if Ib) is adjusted, stable position control can be maintained.
- the lower coil current (IL) is preferably adjusted after the load (Ld) is stabilized. For example, if significant lower coil current (IL) adjustment is frequently performed, there is a concern of causing abnormal noise or the like. Whether the load (Ld) is stable can be determined by various methods. For example, at the update timing, the control unit (30) detects at least one of the average value of the upper coil current (IU) and the average value of the lower coil current (IL) a plurality of times, and the fluctuation range is a predetermined threshold value. It can be considered that “the load is stable” if it is below. The control unit (30) may adjust the bias current (Ib) (that is, the lower coil current (IL)) when the load is stable.
- the “predetermined threshold value” may be a predetermined fixed value, or may be changed according to, for example, the operating conditions of the device supported by the magnetic bearing.
- the bias current adjustment unit (34) the average value of the control current (Id) is obtained, and when the fluctuation range of the average value is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold, it is determined that the load is stable.
- the bias current (Ib) may be adjusted.
- the “predetermined threshold value” may be a predetermined fixed value, or may be changed according to the operating conditions of the device (in this example, the electric motor (10)) supported by the magnetic bearing (20), for example. Also good.
- the load is stable
- the control unit (30) may detect at least one of the average value of the upper coil current (IU) and the average value of the lower coil current (IL), and the detected average value. If the fluctuation range above the frequency is below a predetermined threshold, it may be determined that “the load is stable”. This determination may be made by the control unit (30), for example.

Description

電源装置(40)には、一例として、いわゆるPWM(Pulse Width Modulation)アンプを採用することができる。

IU=Ib+Id
IL=Ib-Id

Ib0=(IU0+IL0)/2
Id0=(IU0-IL0)/2
Ib=(√(Ib0×Id0)
Ib0=(IU0+IL0)/2
Id0=(IU0-IL0)/2
Ib=(√(Ib0×Id0)
F=k×Ib×Id ・・・(1)
F0=k×Ib0×Id0 ・・・(2)
F0=k×Ib×Id=k×Ib^2 ・・・(3)
となる。
F=k×Ib×Id ・・・(1)
F0=k×Ib0×Id0 ・・・(2)
F0=k×Ib×Id=k×Ib^2 ・・・(3)
Ib=√(Ib0×Id0)
Ib=√(Ib0×Id0)
