Abstract
Description
以下に、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る電池ブロックについて、図1、図2、図3及び図4を参照しながら説明する。
図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る電池ブロックに使用される電池の構成を示す断面図である。
図2は、本実施形態に係る電池ブロックの構成を示す分解斜視図である。図3は、本実施形態に係る電池ブロックの構成を示す斜視図である。図4は、本実施形態に係る電池ブロックの構成を示す断面図であり、具体的には、図3に示すIV-IV線に沿った断面図である。
以下に、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る電池ブロックについて、図5、図6及び図7を参照しながら説明する。図5は、本実施形態に係る電池ブロックの構成を示す分解斜視図である。図6は、本実施形態に係る電池ブロックの構成を示す斜視図である。図7は、本実施形態に係る電池ブロックの構成を示す断面図であり、具体的には、図6に示すVII-VII線に沿った断面図である。図5~図7において、第1の実施形態と同様の構成要素には、図2~4に示す符号と同一の符号を付す。従って、本実施形態では、第1の実施形態と同様の説明を適宜省略する。
以下に、本発明の第2の実施形態の変形例に係る電池ブロックについて、図8、図9及び図10を参照しながら説明する。図8は、本変形例に係る電池ブロックの構成を示す分解斜視図である。図9は、本変形例に係る電池ブロックの構成を示す斜視図である。図10は、本変形例に係る電池ブロックの構成を示す断面図であり、具体的には、図9に示すX-X線に沿った断面図である。図8~図10において、第2の実施形態と同様の構成要素には、図5~7に示す符号と同一の符号を付す。従って、本変形例では、第2の実施形態と同様の説明を適宜省略する。
以下に、本実施形態に係る電池モジュールについて、図11を参照しながら説明する。図11は、本実施形態に係る電池モジュールの構成を示す斜視図である。
以下に、本発明の第3の実施形態の第1の変形例に係る電池モジュールについて、図12、図13及び図14を参照しながら説明する。図12は、本変形例に係る電池モジュールに使用される電池ブロックの構成を示す斜視図である。図13は、本変形例に係る電池モジュールの構成を示す斜視図である。図14は、連結部材の構成を示す斜視図である。図13において、第3の実施形態と同様の構成要素には、図11に示す符号と同一の符号を付す。従って、本変形例では、第3の実施形態と同様の説明を適宜省略する。

Claims (11)
- 複数の筒状の電池が配列してホルダ内に収容された電池ブロックであって、
前記電池は、第1の外部端子と、第2の外部端子とを有し、
前記ホルダは、
前記電池の軸方向の上部を収容する筒状の第1の収容部を有する第1のホルダと、
前記電池の軸方向の下部を収容する筒状の第2の収容部を有する第2のホルダとを備え、
前記第1のホルダにより、前記第1の外部端子同士が電気的に接続されており、
前記第2のホルダにより、前記第2の外部端子同士が電気的に接続されていることを特徴とする電池ブロック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池ブロックにおいて、
前記第1の外部端子は、前記電池の軸方向の上端に位置しており、
前記第2の外部端子は、前記電池の軸方向の下端に位置しており、
前記第1の外部端子は、有底筒状の前記第1の収容部の内底面と接触しており、
前記第2の外部端子は、有底筒状の前記第2の収容部の内底面と接触していることを特徴とする電池ブロック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池ブロックにおいて、
前記電池は、軸方向の上端側に位置し、且つ、前記電池内に発生したガスを前記電池外に排出する開放部を有しており、
前記第1の収容部の底部には、連通口が形成されており、
前記第1のホルダの上には、蓋体が配設されており、
前記第1のホルダと前記蓋体との間には、前記開放部から前記電池外に排出されたガスが前記連通口を通って流入する排気室が形成されていることを特徴とする電池ブロック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池ブロックにおいて、
前記第1のホルダと前記第2のホルダとの間には、前記電池が貫通する開口部を有する絶縁性のスペーサが配設されており、
前記第1の収容部の端面は、前記スペーサの上面に接触しており、
前記第2の収容部の端面は、前記スペーサの下面に接触していることを特徴とする電池ブロック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池ブロックにおいて、
前記第1のホルダは、前記電池の配列方向の両端のうちの少なくとも一方の端に位置し、且つ、前記電池の一部が露出する第1の切り欠き部を有しており、
前記第2のホルダは、前記配列方向の両端のうちの少なくとも他方の端に位置し、且つ、前記電池の一部が露出する第2の切り欠き部を有していることを特徴とする電池ブロック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池ブロックにおいて、
前記第1のホルダ及び前記第2のホルダは、同一の金属からなることを特徴とする電池ブロック。 - 請求項3に記載の電池ブロックにおいて、
前記第1のホルダ、前記第2のホルダ及び前記蓋体は、同一の金属からなることを特徴とする電池ブロック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池ブロックを有する電池モジュールにおいて、
複数の前記電池ブロックは、前記ホルダ同士が前記電池の配列方向に隣り合うように配列されており、
前記配列方向に隣り合う前記ホルダ同士の間が電気的に接続されていることを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 請求項8に記載の電池モジュールにおいて、
前記第1のホルダは、前記配列方向の両端のうちの少なくとも一方の端に位置し、且つ、前記電池の一部が露出する第1の切り欠き部を有し、
前記第2のホルダは、前記配列方向の両端のうちの少なくとも他方の端に位置し、且つ、前記電池の一部が露出する第2の切り欠き部を有し、
前記複数の電池ブロックは、前記第1のホルダと前記第2のホルダとが、前記配列方向に隣り合うように配列されており、
前記配列方向に隣り合う前記第1の切り欠き部と前記第2の切り欠き部との間には、連結部材が配設されており、
前記連結部材により、前記配列方向に隣り合う前記第1のホルダの前記第1の切り欠き部と前記第2のホルダの前記第2の切り欠き部との間が電気的に接続されていると共に、前記第1の切り欠き部から露出する前記電池の一部及び前記第2の切り欠き部から露出する前記電池の一部が覆われていることを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 請求項8に記載の電池モジュールにおいて、
前記第1のホルダは、前記配列方向の両端のうちの少なくとも一方の端に位置し、且つ、前記電池の一部が露出する第1の切り欠き部を有し、
前記第2のホルダは、前記配列方向の両端のうちの少なくとも他方の端に位置し、且つ、前記電池の一部が露出する第2の切り欠き部を有し、
前記複数の電池ブロックは、前記第1のホルダ同士及び前記第2のホルダ同士が、前記配列方向に隣り合うように配列されており、
前記配列方向に隣り合う前記第1の切り欠き部同士の間には、第1の連結部材が配設されており、
前記配列方向に隣り合う前記第2の切り欠き部同士の間には、第2の連結部材が配設されており、
前記第1の連結部材により、前記配列方向に隣り合う前記第1のホルダの前記第1の切り欠き部同士の間が電気的に接続されていると共に、前記第1の切り欠き部から露出する前記電池の一部が覆われており、
前記第2の連結部材により、前記配列方向に隣り合う前記第2のホルダの前記第2の切り欠き部同士の間が電気的に接続されていると共に、前記第2の切り欠き部から露出する前記電池の一部が覆われていることを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 請求項8に記載の電池モジュールにおいて、
前記複数の電池ブロックは、前記第1のホルダ同士及び前記第2のホルダ同士が、前記配列方向に隣り合うように配列されており、
前記配列方向に配列された複数の前記第1のホルダの上には、共通の蓋体が配設されていることを特徴とする電池モジュール。
