Abstract

본 발명은 진공정련을 이용하여 저알파 방사선을 방출하는 주석의 제조방법으로서, 알파 방사선의 방출 및 불순물의 함량이 많은 원소재 주석을 준비하는 단계, 상기 주석을 도가니에 수용한 후 진공로에 넣는 단계 및 상기 진공로에서 증기를 통해 주석보다 높은 증기압과 낮은 끓는점을 갖는 불순물을 제거하는 단계를 포함하여, 각 원소들의 증기압의 차이를 이용하여 주석으로부터 납 및 비스무스와 같은 불순물을 대부분 제거하여 알파 방사선의 방출을 최대한 억제함으로써 전자제품의 소프트 에러 발생을 방지할 수 있다.
