Abstract

プッシュプレートの収容空間を形成するハウジングとプッシュロッドが収容されるシリンダとを接続する構成を備えたブレーキチャンバーにおいて、ハウジング内に侵入する異物によりハウジングとシリンダとの接続部位の強度不足が生じる問題を、コストアップを抑えつつ防止するために、ブレーキチャンバー１は、圧縮空気の圧力を介してシリンダ１７内をピストン動作することによりプッシュロッド２をブレーキ装置に対して進出させるロッド部２２と、シリンダ１７内への泥などの異物の侵入を防止するダストブーツ２９とを備えている。ダストブーツ２９には、カップ１６の内周面１６ｂに弾性的に接することによってカップ１６とシリンダ１７との接続部への異物の侵入を防止する様機能するシール部２９ｃが形成されている。
