Abstract
Un ensamblaje de freno incluye una pestaña de montaje teniendo una abertura central para recibir una flecha, en donde la pestaña de montaje es montable sobre un bastidor, un disco de rotor montado sobre la flecha y capaz de girar con la flecha, el disco de rotor teniendo una primera cara plana y una segunda cara plana, una placa de flotación teniendo una segunda superficie de fricción vinculable con la segunda cara plana. El ensamblaje de freno también incluye un alojamiento de resorte, el cual opera como un pistón, y un cilindro acoplado al alojamiento de resorte para formar una cámara de presión de fluidos, en donde el alojamiento de resorte se mueve en una primera dirección cuando fluido presurizado sale de la cámara de presión de fluidos. El ensamblaje además incluye por lo menos un travesaño corredizo soportando de manera corrediza a la placa de flotación, la placa de presión, y el alojamiento de resorte para permitir movimiento axial de por lo menos una de la placa de flotación, la placa de presión, y el alojamiento de resorte.
