Abstract

Un freno a disco de un vehículo automotor, en especial de un vehículo utilitario presenta una mordaza de freno (7) que abarca un disco de freno (9), por lo menos una pastilla de freno (1) provista de una placa de soporte de pastilla (2) y un recubrimiento de fricción (10) fijado a ésta, un dispositivo para la detección de un desgaste de la pastilla de freno con por lo menos un sensor de desgaste (3), en donde el sensor de desgaste (3) está conformado como un sensor de distancia inductivo fijado a la placa de soporte de pastilla (2) para la determinación de la distancia de la placa de soporte de pastilla (2) con respecto al disco de freno (9), el cual está unido con una conexión de evaluación (5).
