It is necessary to control by adjusting the supply amounts of hydrogen gas and oxidant gas in accordance with the current output from the power generation unit. Therefore, in order to perform this control, it is necessary to detect the current of the inverter in order to adjust the current of the inverter, and the current output from the power generation unit in order to adjust the supply amount of hydrogen gas and oxidant gas. Need to be detected. In other words, it is necessary to detect two currents for controlling the generated power, and if the two currents are simply detected using two sensors, the configuration of current detection necessary for controlling the generated power is complicated. become.

- FIG. 5 is a functional block diagram showing the configuration of the fuel cell power generation system 1 according to the first embodiment.
- the current detector 11 is illustrated, but a current detector 21 can be provided instead of the current detector 11 as in FIG. 4.
- the fuel cell power generation system 1 includes a power generation unit 8, an internal load 110, an inverter 7, a voltage detector 12, current detectors 11 and 21, and a controller 6.
- the power generation unit 8 generates electricity by electrochemically reacting the fuel gas and the oxidant gas.
- the power generation unit 8 can be composed of various known types of fuel cells.
- the DC power generated by the power generation unit 8 is output to the inverter 7 and the internal load 110.
- the power supply to the conception internal load 110 when the power generation unit 8 is not standing up is performed from, for example, the system power supply 100 or a storage battery (not shown) as shown in the second embodiment.
- the inverter 7 converts the input DC power into AC power, outputs the AC power to the outside, and adjusts the power output to the outside.
- the voltage detector 12 detects the voltage of the electric power generated by the power generation unit 8.
- the controller 6 estimates the value of the current supplied to the internal load 110 based on at least one of the current value detected by the current detectors 11 and 21 and the operation amount of the internal load 110.
- the amount of operation of the internal load 110 mainly means the amount of operation of the actuator.
- the rotation number of the fan whose supply amount can be adjusted to supply the oxidant gas in the oxidant gas supply unit 10 and the fuel in the fuel gas supply unit 9
- the opening degree of the valve for adjusting the gas supply amount, ON / OFF of the switches constituting the above-described control system for the generated power amount, and the like are applicable.
- the controller 6 determines the target power generated by the power generation unit 8 and controls the inverter 7 and the actuator of the internal load 110 so that the power generation unit 8 generates the target power.
- the controller 6 estimates the value of the current supplied to the internal load 110 based on at least one of the current value detected by the current detectors 11 and 21 and the operation amount of the internal load 110. Based on the current value detected by the current detectors 11 and 21 and the current value obtained by estimation, the controller 6 controls the inverter 7 and the internal load so that the power generated by the power generation unit 8 becomes the target power. 110 is controlled.
- the controller 6 estimates the current value supplied to the internal load 110 based on the operation amount of the internal load 110 (more precisely, the operation amount of each element).
- the power consumption of each element constituting the internal load 110 can be known based on each characteristic (specification) and operation condition (use condition).
- the power consumption of elements other than the actuator is generally constant regardless of the amount of power generated by the power generation unit 8.
- the power consumption of the actuator is generally proportional to the operation amount. Macroscopically, the amount of operation of the actuator increases as the amount of power generated in the power generation unit 8 increases, and decreases as the amount of power generated in the power generation unit 8 decreases.
- the amount of operation of the actuator generally increases and decreases monotonously with the increase and decrease in the amount of generated power in the power generation unit 8.
- the power consumption of the actuator is dominant in the power consumption of the internal load 110. Therefore, when simplifying the estimation, ignoring the power consumption of elements other than the actuator, the power consumption of the internal load 110 is approximately proportional to the amount of operation of the actuator, and the power consumption of the internal load 110 is In general, it may be considered that the power generation unit 8 monotonously increases or decreases with respect to the increase or decrease in the amount of generated power.
- the power consumption of the internal load 110 is calculated from the operation amount of the internal load 110.
- an estimated value: IAn of the current supplied to the internal load 110 is obtained.
- the estimated value of the supply current is calculated, and these are summed to calculate the estimated value of the supply current to the internal load 110).
- the controller 6 estimates the value of the current supplied to the internal load 110 based on the current values detected by the current detectors 11 and 21.
- the current value detected by the current detectors 11 and 21 is the current value of the power supplied to both the inverter 7 and the internal load 110 (the generated current value of the power generation unit 8) or the power supplied to the inverter 7. It is a current value (output current value to the inverter 7).
- the value of the current supplied to the internal load 110 has a correlation with the generated current value and the output current value to the inverter 7.
- the power consumption of the internal load 110 generally increases and decreases monotonously with the increase and decrease of the amount of generated power in the power generation unit 8.
- the power generation amount in the power generation unit 8 is substantially proportional to the power generation current value of the power generation unit 8
- the value of the current supplied to the internal load 110 is calculated from the power generation current value of the power generation unit 8 using this correlation. be able to.
- the estimated current value of the internal load 110 is obtained based on the current value detected by the current detector 21.
- the power consumption of the internal load 110 generally increases and decreases monotonously with the increase and decrease in the amount of generated power in the power generation unit 8. If this correlation is grasped more roughly, the power consumption of the internal load 110 is generally proportional to the amount of power generated in the power generation unit 8. The ratio between the value of the current supplied to the internal load 110 and the value of the output current to the inverter 7 is generally constant. Therefore, the value of the current supplied to the internal load 110 can be calculated from the output current value to the inverter 7 using this correlation. Thus, the estimated current value of the internal load 110 is obtained based on the current value detected by the current detector 11.
- the estimated current value of the internal load 110 is finally the inverter 7 necessary for adjusting the power generation current value of the power generator 8 necessary for controlling the power generated by the power generator 8 and the power output from the inverter 7 to the outside. It is used to obtain both or one of the output current values.
- the current value of the internal load 110 is smaller than the generated current value and the output current value to the inverter 7. For this reason, even if there is an error in the above-described correlation, the influence on the generated current value of the power generation unit 8 and the output current value to the inverter 7 can be small.
- the method of determining the target power of the power generation unit 8 is arbitrary. For example, when generating a constant power, the controller 6 sets the target power to a constant value. When the fuel cell power generation system 1 is connected to the system power supply 100 and performs load following control, the controller 6 detects an external load power supplied to the external load by a power detector (not shown). . The controller 6 adds the detected external load and the internal load power supplied to the internal load 110. The controller 6 determines the target power based on the combined power. The controller 6 calculates the internal load power based on the estimated current value and voltage of the power supplied to the internal load 110 described above.
- the controller 6 performs feedback control so that the generated power of the power generation unit 8 becomes the target power.
- the current value detected by the current detector 11 or the current detector 21 or the estimated current value is used to detect the generated power that is the control amount.
- the inverter 7 and the actuator of the internal load 110 including the fuel gas supply unit 9 and the oxidant gas supply unit 10 are used as the control actuator. That is, the controller 6 detects the generated power of the power generation unit 8 based on the current value detected by the current detectors 11 and 21 and the estimated current value, and the inverter 7 so that the detected generated power becomes the target power. And the actuator of the internal load 110 including the fuel gas supply unit 9 and the oxidant gas supply unit 10 are controlled.
- the controller 6 uses the inverter 7 to adjust the current taken out from the power generation unit 8 and output to the outside. Since it is necessary to detect the current value of the inverter 7 for this adjustment, the current value of the inverter 7 is always detected as described above. Further, the controller 6 adjusts, for example, the supply amount of hydrogen gas and oxidant gas to the power generation unit 8 using an actuator of the internal load 110 so as to match the detected generated power. At the time of this adjustment, the controller 6 outputs an operation amount to the actuator of the internal load 110 to control the actuator of the internal load 110.
- the electric power generation value of the electric power generation part 8, the output electric current value to the inverter 7, and the supply electric current value of the internal load 110 are calculated
- the DC power of the power generation unit 8 is supplied to the internal load 110 as DC power without being converted into AC power. Therefore, since no power loss occurs when power is converted, the fuel cell power generation system 1 with high energy use efficiency is realized.
- FIG. 1 is a functional block diagram showing the configuration of the fuel cell power generation system 1.
- the fuel cell power generation system 1 shows an example in which the fuel cell power generation system 1 according to the first embodiment is applied to a fuel cell power generation system 1 including a power switch 5.
- the fuel cell power generation system 1 is connected to a system power supply 100 via a columnar transformer 101 and a distribution board 102.
- the distribution board 102 is installed in the home.
- a domestic load 103 is connected to the wiring connecting the distribution board 102 and the fuel cell power generation system 1.
- the domestic load 103 is an external load connected to the fuel cell power generation system 1.
- the household load 103 for example, a television, a refrigerator, an air conditioner, or the like used at home consumes electric power.
- the external load is not limited to the household load 103 and may be anything that consumes power.
- the power generation unit 8 of the fuel cell power generation system 1 When the power generation unit 8 of the fuel cell power generation system 1 is not generating power, power is supplied from the system power supply 100 to the home load 103. On the other hand, when the power generation unit 8 is generating power, power is supplied from the fuel cell power generation system 1 to the household load 103. At this time, when the electric power from the fuel cell power generation system 1 is less than the electric power consumed by the domestic load 103, the insufficient electric power is supplied from the system power supply 100 to the domestic load 103.
- the fuel cell power generation system 1 includes a power generation unit 8, an internal load 110, an inverter 7, a voltage detector 12, a current detector 11, and a controller 6. Furthermore, the fuel cell power generation system 1 may include an earth leakage breaker 2, an AC / DC converter 3, and a power supply switching unit 5.
- the earth leakage breaker 2 cuts off the power supply when the fuel cell power generation system 1 is leaking electricity.
- AC / DC converter 3 converts AC power from system power supply 100 to DC power and supplies DC power to internal load 110 when power generation unit 8 is not generating power.
- the DC / DC converter 4 supplies DC power from the power generation unit 8 to the internal load 110 when the power generation unit 8 is generating power.
- the power supply switching unit 5 switches between the AC / DC converter 3 and the DC / DC converter 4 according to the power generation state of the power generation unit 8. As a result, the power supply source to the internal load 110 is switched to the system power supply 100 or the power generation unit 8.
- the fuel gas supply unit 9 supplies hydrogen, which is a fuel gas, to the fuel electrode of the power generation unit 8.
- the fuel gas supply unit 9 has a function of adjusting the gas supply amount, and includes, for example, a plunger pump, a flow rate adjustment valve, and the like.
- the oxidant gas supply unit 10 supplies air that is an oxidant gas to the air electrode of the power generation unit 8.
- the oxidant gas supply unit includes an actuator such as a blower pump or a booster pump.
- the power generation unit 8 generates power by causing an electrode reaction between hydrogen from the fuel gas supply unit 9 and air from the oxidant gas supply unit 10 and outputs DC power.
- This DC power is used as driving power for internal loads 110 such as the controller 6, the fuel gas supply unit 9, and the oxidant gas supply unit 10. Further, the DC power is converted into AC power by the inverter 7 and supplied to the household load 103.
- the controller 6 adjusts the amount of fuel and air supplied to the power generation unit 8. For example, the rotational speed of the pump of the oxidant gas supply unit 10 is increased, or the opening degree of the flow rate adjustment valve of the fuel gas supply unit 9 is increased. As a result, the amount of fuel and air supplied to the power generation unit 8 increase, and the DC power increases. On the other hand, the rotational speed of the pump of the oxidant gas supply unit 10 is lowered, or the opening degree of the flow rate adjustment valve of the fuel gas supply unit 9 is reduced. As a result, the amount of fuel and air supplied to the power generation unit 8 are reduced, and the DC power is reduced.
- the inverter 7 receives DC power from the power generation unit 8, converts this DC power into AC power, and supplies the AC power to the household load 103.
- the current detector 11 detects the value of the current output to the inverter 7. This output current value is a current value of electric power generated by the power generation unit 8 and supplied to the inverter 7.
- the voltage detector 12 detects the voltage of the electric power generated by the power generation unit 8.
- Examples of the controller 6 include a microcontroller, CPU, MPU, logic circuit, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and the like.
- the controller 6 sets the target power generated by the power generation unit 8.
- the controller 6 controls the inverter 7 and the internal load 110 so that the DC power of the power generation unit 8 becomes the target power.
- the controller 6 controls the inverter 7 to adjust the power that is taken out from the power generation unit 8 and output to the outside, and controls the fuel gas supply unit 9 and the oxidant gas supply unit 10 to generate power.
- the amount of fuel and air supplied to the unit 8 are adjusted to adjust the DC power of the power generation unit 8.
- the controller 6 calculates an estimated current value supplied to the internal load 110 from the operation amount of the internal load 110.
- AC power from the system power supply 100 is converted into DC power by the AC / DC converter 3, and DC power is supplied to the internal load.
- internal loads such as the controller 6 and each supply part 9,10, start, and the electric power generation part 8 begins to generate electric power.
- the voltage detector 12 detects the voltage generated by the power generation unit 8.
- the controller 6 controls the power switch 5 to switch from the AC / DC converter 3 to the DC / DC converter 4. Thereby, a part of the direct-current power from the power generation unit 8 is given to the internal load via the DC / DC converter 4. Along with this, a current (second current) flows from the power generation unit 8 to the internal load. The remaining DC power from the power generation unit 8 is supplied to the household load 103 via the inverter 7. As a result, a current (first current) flows from the power generation unit 8 to the inverter 7. The current detector 11 detects the output current value to the inverter 7. The controller 6 calculates the power consumption of the external load from the output current value to the inverter 7 and the generated voltage.
- the controller 6 obtains an estimated current value for the internal load based on the operation amount of the internal load.
- Such an operation amount that is, an operation state of the internal load and an operation amount are stored in a memory (not shown) that can be appropriately accessed by the controller 6.
- an operation state of the internal load for example, an ON / OFF signal output from the controller 6 to the fan can be cited. Thereby, it is determined whether the fan is operating or stopped. Further, when the controller 6 itself is activated, it is stored that the controller 6 is in an operating state.
- the operation amount of the internal load for example, the rotational speed of the pump of the oxidant gas supply unit 10 controlled in an analog manner by the controller 6 and the opening degree of the flow rate adjustment valve of the fuel gas supply unit 9 (or And the number of rotations of the pump).
- each internal load 110 is associated in advance with the current value supplied for the control of the internal load 110. This association is stored in a memory (not shown) that can be appropriately accessed by the controller 6.
- An internal load such as the fan or the controller 6 is associated with a current value supplied to operate each internal load.
- the rotation speed of the pump of the oxidant gas supply unit 10 is associated with the current value supplied to rotate at each rotation speed.
- the opening degree of the adjustment valve of the fuel gas supply unit 9 is associated with the current value supplied to open the adjustment valve at each opening degree.
- the controller 6 obtains an estimated current value to the internal load corresponding to the operation amount of each internal load 110 based on the association between the operation amount and the current value.
- the controller 6 calculates the estimated current value for the internal load by summing up the obtained estimated current values.
- the controller 6 calculates the estimated power consumption of the internal load from the estimated current value to the internal load and the generated voltage.
- the controller 6 sets the target power from the power consumption of the external load thus obtained and the estimated power consumption of the internal load.
- the controller 6 controls the internal load based on this target power.
- the controller 6 obtains the current DC power of the power generation unit 8 in the controlled fuel cell power generation system 1. That is, the controller 6 determines the output current value to the inverter 7 after control, the estimated current value to the internal load, and the power generation voltage of the power generation unit 8 in the same manner as described above.
- the controller 6 adds these together to calculate the generated current value of the power generation unit 8.
- the controller 6 determines the DC power of the power generation unit 8 from the generated current value of the power generation unit 8 and the generated voltage of the power generation unit 8.
- the controller 6 compares the set target power with the current DC power of the power generation unit 8. As a result of this comparison, if the DC power of the power generation unit 8 is greater than the target power, the controller 6 reduces the current value taken out by the inverter 7 and adjusts the power output to the outside. Then, the controller 6 controls each of the supply units 9 and 10 so that the amount of fuel and the amount of air supplied to the power generation unit 8 are reduced. Thereby, the direct-current power of the electric power generation part 8 reduces. On the other hand, if the DC power of the power generation unit 8 is less than the target power, the controller 6 increases the current value taken out by the inverter 7 and adjusts the power output to the outside.
- the controller 6 controls the supply units 9 and 10 so that the amount of fuel and the amount of air supplied to the power generation unit 8 increase. Thereby, the direct-current power of the electric power generation part 8 increases. In this way, the controller 6 controls the internal load 110 so that the DC power of the power generation unit 8 becomes the target power.
- the controller 6 sets a new target power, and further controls the internal load by comparing the set target power with the DC power of the power generation unit 8 controlled based on the target power. . In this way, the controller 6 repeats the feedback control.
- an estimated current value to the internal load 110 is obtained from the operation amount of the internal load.
- the power generation current value of the power generation unit 8 can be obtained only by providing the current detector 11 that detects the supply current value to the inverter 7.
- the configuration of the current detection system can be simplified, and the cost in the fuel cell power generation system 1 is reduced.
- the power generated by the power generation unit 8 is supplied to the internal load 110 as DC power without being converted into AC power. For this reason, there is no loss at the time of converting electric power, and high energy utilization efficiency is realized in the fuel cell power generation system 1.
- the estimated current value to the internal load 110 is more accurately calculated based on the current value detected by the current detector 11 or the operation amount of the internal load 110. Based on this, the target power and the DC power of the power generation unit 8 are obtained with high accuracy, so that the fuel cell power generation system 1 can stably generate power.
- the operation amount detection unit 13 is provided in the fuel cell power generation system 1 of the second embodiment.
- FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram showing the configuration of the fuel cell power generation system 1.
- the operation amount detector 13 is provided in the controller 6.
- the operation amount detection unit 13 detects an operation amount in the fuel cell power generation system 1. Examples of the operation amount include the number of activations and the cumulative energization time of the fuel electronic power generation system 1 and the number of power generations and the power generation time of the power generation unit 8. The operation amount is accumulated based on information controlled by the controller 6 and stored in a memory accessible to the controller 6.
- the controller 6 corrects the estimated current value supplied to the internal load based on the operation amount in the fuel cell power generation system 1 detected by the operation amount detection unit 13. For example, a coefficient corresponding to the operation amount is determined in advance, and is stored in a memory accessible from the controller 6. That is, as the operation amount increases, some internal loads 110 change over time. For example, the resistance of the coil is increased, the slidability of the actuator is deteriorated, or the internal filter is clogged. In this case, in order to maintain the performance of the internal load 110, the estimated current value supplied to the internal load 110 needs to be set large. Therefore, the coefficient corresponding to the operation amount is determined so as to increase as the operation amount increases.
- the controller 6 corrects the estimated current value to the internal load 110 by multiplying the estimated current value to the internal load 110 obtained as described above by a coefficient corresponding to the operation amount.
- the estimated current value to the internal load can be obtained more accurately. Accordingly, the accuracy of the target power obtained from the estimated current value to the internal load 110 and the DC power of the power generation unit 8 is increased. Therefore, the fuel cell power generation system 1 can be controlled more stably.
- the acquisition unit 20 is provided in the fuel cell power generation system 1 of the second embodiment.
- FIG. 3 is a functional block diagram showing the configuration of the fuel cell power generation system 1.
- the acquisition unit 20 acquires installation information for installing the fuel cell power generation system 1.
- the acquisition unit 20 is connected to the controller 6 and outputs the acquired installation information to the controller 6.
- Installation information is acquired by input from a user, an installation contractor, a maintenance contractor, etc., input from a communication means such as the Internet, and input from a sensor such as an altimeter or a barometer.
- the installation information includes, for example, the position and altitude where the fuel cell power generation system 1 is installed, and the length of the duct when the fuel cell power generation system 1 is installed in the basement.
- the installation position of the fuel cell power generation system 1 includes, for example, the country where the fuel cell power generation system 1 is installed, an address, a postal code, a latitude, and a longitude.
- the installation information is associated with correction information such as coefficients and stored in a memory (not shown).
- the fuel cell power generation system 1 may be arranged in a basement.
- the duct connected to the fuel cell power generation system 1 becomes long, and the power supplied to the ventilation fan is large. Therefore, correction information is set for installation information: Germany so that the estimated current value of the ventilation fan is increased.
- the altitude sensor when the altitude sensor is attached to the fuel cell power generation system 1, the altitude is associated with the correction information as the installation information.
- the higher the altitude the thinner the oxygen in the air. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the amount of air supplied from the oxidant gas supply unit 10 to the power generation unit 8. Therefore, the amount of operation for the oxidant gas supply unit 10 increases, and the power supplied to the oxidant gas supply unit 10 increases.
- the correction information is set so that the estimated current value to the oxidant gas supply unit 10 increases as the altitude increases.
- the correction information is set so that the estimated current value to the ventilation fan decreases as the altitude increases.
- the controller 6 obtains the correction information for the association based on the installation information acquired by the acquisition unit 20.
- the controller 6 corrects the estimated current value supplied to the internal load 110 according to the correction information.
- the estimated current value to the internal load 110 can be obtained more accurately. Accordingly, the accuracy of the target power obtained from the estimated current value to the internal load 110 and the DC power of the power generation unit 8 is increased. Therefore, the fuel cell power generation system 1 can be controlled more stably.
- the current detector 11 for detecting the current value (first current) supplied to the inverter 7 is provided.
- the fuel cell power generation system 1 can be provided with a current detector 21 that detects a current value (third current) generated by the power generation unit 8.
- FIG. 4 is a functional block diagram showing the configuration of the fuel cell power generation system 1.
- the controller 6 may include an operation amount detection unit 13.
- the acquisition unit 20 may be connected to the controller 6 as in the fuel cell power generation system 1 of the fourth embodiment.
- the current detector 21 detects the current value generated by the power generation unit 8 and outputs the current value to the controller 6.
- the current value generated by the power generation unit 8 is the current value of the power generated by the power generation unit 8 and supplied to both the inverter 7 and the internal load 110.
- the controller 6 calculates the DC power of the power generation unit 8 by multiplying the power generation current value of the power generation unit 8 from the current detector 21 and the power generation voltage from the voltage detector 12. Further, the controller 6 obtains an estimated current value for the internal load operation amount based on the operation amount of the internal load 110. The controller 6 calculates the estimated power consumption of the internal load by multiplying the estimated current value to the internal load and the generated voltage. Further, the controller 6 subtracts the estimated current value to the internal load from the generated current value of the power generation unit 8 to obtain the current value supplied to the inverter 7. The controller 6 multiplies the supply current value to the inverter 7 and the generated voltage to calculate the power consumption of the external load.
- the controller 6 sets the target power from the power consumption of the external load thus obtained and the estimated power consumption of the internal load 110.
- the controller 6 controls the internal load based on this target power.
- the controller 6 obtains the current generated current value of the power generation unit 8 in the controlled fuel cell power generation system 1 from the current detector 21.
- the controller 6 determines the DC power of the power generation unit 8 from the generated current value and the generated voltage of the power generation unit 8 after the control.
- the controller 6 compares the set target power with the current DC power of the power generation unit 8. Depending on the result of this comparison, the controller 6 repeats feedback control.
- the same effects as those of the second embodiment can be obtained. Further, if the operation amount detection unit 13 and the acquisition unit 20 are provided in the fuel cell power generation system 1, the same effects as those of the third and fourth embodiments can be obtained.
- the estimated current value supplied to the internal load 110 is obtained based on the operation amount in the internal load 110.
- the estimated current value supplied to the internal load 110 can be obtained based on the current value detected by the current detectors 11 and 21.
- the current value detected by the current detectors 11 and 21 is the supply current value to the inverter 7 or the generated current value of the power generation unit 8.
- a predetermined ratio is set between the current value detected by the current detectors 11 and 21 and the estimated current value supplied to the internal load. This ratio may be set so as to change according to the generated current value of the power generation unit 8 and the supply current value to the inverter 7.
- the estimated current value based on the current value detected by the current detectors 11 and 21 may be less accurate than the estimated current value based on the operation amount in the internal load 110.
- the current value supplied to the internal load 110 is smaller than the generated current value of the power generation unit 8 and the supplied current value to the inverter 7. Therefore, even if there is an error in the estimated current value to the internal load 110, the influence is small. Therefore, the same effect as in the second embodiment can be obtained. Further, if the operation amount detection unit 13 and the acquisition unit 20 are provided in the fuel cell power generation system 1, the same effects as those of the third and fourth embodiments can be obtained.
- the fuel cell power generation system of the present invention is useful as a fuel cell power generation system capable of improving energy use efficiency and simplifying the configuration of current detection necessary for control of generated power, a control method thereof, and the like.

Abstract
