  • the elastic means 9 is constituted by at least one spring, in parallel to which a damper is provided of a type selected preferably among pneumatic, electrically actuated and hydraulic, the assembly of the spring and of the damper constituting a shock absorber for the oscillations produced by the device 4.
  • the enclosure 1 is made of a material selected preferably among metal, wood, polymers and the like.
  • the possibility is not excluded to cover internally at least one of the laminas 5 and 6 of the enclosure 1 with at least one layer of sound- absorbing material, the inner faces of which can be preferably corrugated or studded, in order to increase the absorption and attenuation of the sound waves produced by the device 4 during its operation and hinder their transfer to the outside of the enclosure 1.
  • the elastic means 9 are four, three being arranged, with respect to said device 4, for example at the three directions defined respectively by the three Cartesian axes, and one being arranged in a fourth different direction, which is substantially oblique with respect to the directions of the three Cartesian axes, in order to balance the vibrations generated by the device 4.
  • the device 4 when it starts operating, begins to emit sound waves and generates vibrations.
  • the generated sound waves once the first lamina 5 of the enclosure 1 has been passed, enter the interspace 7, where they are absorbed and attenuated thanks to the presence of the individual small elements 8 arranged internally with a random distribution.
  • the vibrations produced by the device 4 are damped thanks to the action of the elastic means 9 arranged inside the enclosure 1 , which, by balancing the stresses produced by the device 4, prevent them from affecting the enclosure 7, generating additional noise.
  • any presence of the sound-absorbing material on the laminas 5 and 6 can further increase the damping of the sound waves.
  • the enclosure 1 for devices of the type of electric power generating sets, current generators, internal combustion engines, air compressors and the like fully achieves the intended aim, since it ensures high acoustic insulation.
  • the presence of the interspace 7 and of the material contained therein in fact ensure that the sound waves are not transmitted directly from the inside of the enclosure 1 toward the outside.
  • the presence of the at least one elastic means 9 prevents the transmission of the vibrations to the enclosure 1 , which by vibrating would increase the perceived noise caused by the operation of the device 4.
  • a further advantage of the enclosure 1 according to the invention is that it has a reduced sensitivity to environmental and climate variations.
  • the material contained in the interspace 7, such as for example sand, following exposure to atmospheric agents, does not alter its physical characteristics, breaking down or losing its capacity to absorb sound waves, even in the presence of vibrations and therefore of mechanical stresses.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un boîtier pour dispositifs du type ensembles de production de courant électrique, génératrices de courant, moteurs à combustion interne, compresseurs d'air et similaire à isolation acoustique élevée, comprenant des parois (2) délimitant un compartiment intérieur (3) destiné à contenir au moins un dispositif mécanique (4) et similaire. Au moins une des parois (2) est composée d'au moins deux feuilles (5, 6), une première feuille (5) et une seconde feuille (6). La première feuille (5) et la seconde feuille (6) définissent un intervalle fermé (7). A l'intérieur de l'intervalle (7) est fournie une quantité prédéfinie, adaptée à la remplir entièrement ou partiellement de petits éléments individuels (8), permettant d'atténuer la transmission d'ondes acoustiques à travers le boîtier (1). Les éléments individuels (8) peuvent présenter une forme différente en fonction de l'isolation différente que l'on souhaite obtenir ; en particulier, ils peuvent présenter une forme granulée, de type copeaux, fibreuse ou poudreuse.
