Abstract
Description
内燃機関の排気通路に設けられる電極と、
前記電極に接続され電圧を印加する電源と、
前記排気通路を流れる排気の空燃比を検出または推定する空燃比検出装置と、
前記空燃比検出装置により検出または推定される空燃比がリッチ空燃比の場合には、理論空燃比またはリーン空燃比の場合よりも、前記電源から前記電極に供給する電力を大きくする電力制御装置と、
を備える。
前記電力制御装置は、前記排出ガス量検出装置により検出または推定される排出ガス量が多いほど、前記電力を大きくすることができる。
前記処理部と前記排気通路との間で電気を絶縁する絶縁部と、
前記処理部を接地させる接地部と、
前記接地部にて電流を検出する電流検出装置と、
前記検出装置により検出される電流にパルス電流が発生したか否か判定する判定装置と、
前記判定装置によりパルス電流が発生したと判定されるまで前記電極に印加する電圧を増加させ、前記判定装置によりパルス電流が発生したと判定された場合に前記電極に印加する電圧を低減させることで、前記電極に印加する電圧をパルス電流が発生する電圧よりも低く調整するパルス電流抑制装置と、
を備えることができる。
図1は、本実施例に係る粒子状物質処理装置1の概略構成を示す図である。粒子状物質処理装置1は、ガソリン機関の排気通路2に設けられる。

Claims (4)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられる電極と、
前記電極に接続され電圧を印加する電源と、
前記排気通路を流れる排気の空燃比を検出または推定する空燃比検出装置と、
前記空燃比検出装置により検出または推定される空燃比がリッチ空燃比の場合には、理論空燃比またはリーン空燃比の場合よりも、前記電源から前記電極に供給する電力を大きくする電力制御装置と、
を備える粒子状物質処理装置。 - 前記電力制御装置は、前記空燃比検出装置により検出または推定される空燃比が低いほど、前記電力を大きくする請求項1に記載の粒子状物質処理装置。
- 内燃機関の排出ガス量を検出または推定する排出ガス量検出装置を備え、
前記電力制御装置は、前記排出ガス量検出装置により検出または推定される排出ガス量が多いほど、前記電力を大きくする請求項1または2に記載の粒子状物質処理装置。 - 前記排気通路に設けられ前記電極が設置される処理部と、
前記処理部と前記排気通路との間で電気を絶縁する絶縁部と、
前記処理部を接地させる接地部と、
前記接地部にて電流を検出する電流検出装置と、
前記検出装置により検出される電流にパルス電流が発生したか否か判定する判定装置と、
前記判定装置によりパルス電流が発生したと判定されるまで前記電極に印加する電圧を増加させ、前記判定装置によりパルス電流が発生したと判定された場合に前記電極に印加する電圧を低減させることで、前記電極に印加する電圧をパルス電流が発生する電圧よりも低く調整するパルス電流抑制装置と、
を備える請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の粒子状物質処理装置。
