Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à une poudre d'un alliage à base d'uranium et de molybdène en phase γ métastable, qui est formée de particules qui présentent un indice d'élongation au moins égal à 1,1, une valeur de porosité fermée non nulle et qui sont composées de grains ayant une teneur en molybdène dont les variations au sein d'un même grain sont au plus de 1% massique. Elle se rapporte également à un procédé permettant de préparer cette poudre d'alliage ainsi qu'à l'utilisation de ladite poudre pour la fabrication de combustibles nucléaires et de cibles pour la production de radioisotopes. Applications: Fabrication de combustibles nucléaires, notamment pour réacteurs nucléaires expérimentaux; fabrication de cibles pour la production de radioisotopes, notamment pour l'industrie médicale.
