Abstract

본 발명은 전기적으로 연결된 다수의 전지셀 또는 단위모듈('단위셀')들을 포함하는 전지팩으로서, 단위셀들이 냉매 유로를 형성할 수 있도록 상호 이격된 상태로 전지팩의 폭 방향(횡 방향)으로 직립 배열되어 하나의 전지모듈 층을 이루고 있고, 둘 이상의 전지모듈 층들이 전지팩의 높이 방향(종 방향)으로 배열된 적층 구조로 팩 케이스에 내장되어 있으며, 둘 이상의 전지모듈 층들에 위치한 일부 또는 전체 단위셀들을 동시에 냉각시킬 수 있도록, 냉매가 둘 이상의 전지모듈 층들에 동시에 유입되는 냉매 유입부와, 단위셀들을 통과한 냉매가 배출되는 냉매 배출부의 구조를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지팩을 제공한다.
