Abstract
Description
このディスプレイ装置では、コネクタに装着されたフラットケーブルをフレームに沿って屈曲させても、フラットケーブルがフレームの抜き部分の外縁部である枠部分に支持されて、コネクタのスライダー部に開放方向の力が加わることが抑制される。これにより、コネクタからのフラットケーブルの脱離を防止することができる。
実施の形態1.
図1は、この発明が適用されるディスプレイ装置のディスプレイパネル部分の分解斜視図であり、図2は、図1のディスプレイパネル部分の組み付け後を示す斜視図である。図1において、液晶3及びホルダ4がネジにより前面パネル5に固定され、このホルダ4に回路基板6及びシールド板金7が取り付けられる。回路基板6には、コネクタ11が実装されており、このコネクタ11にはフラットケーブル10が装着される。
すなわち、フラットケーブル10は、縁部4aを乗り越えた後、出口部10aの方向に一度屈曲し、その屈曲位置からさらに前面パネル5側の位置にある出口部10aで引き出される。このとき、ディスプレイパネルを開状態にすると、出口部10aにおけるフラットケーブル10の屈曲方向が、図5に示すように、図4の閉状態の場合とは逆方向になるほど大きく折り曲がる。このため、ディスプレイパネルの開閉が繰り返されると、出口部10aでのフラットケーブル10に屈曲による応力からフラットケーブル10が断線する可能性がある。
例えば、ホルダ4の出口部10A側の縁部4aは、図6に示すように、背面パネル8側に凸になるように折り曲げられた板材であることから、端部4aにおける、コネクタ11に装着されたフラットケーブル10が通る部分に切り込みを入れて、図6で破線で囲んだ部分Aのように、回路基板6と略同一な高さとなるように一段落として平面部4bを形成する。
また、出口部10Aも、図8に示すように回路基板6と略同一な高さにある。背面パネル8の当たり部13とホルダ4の平面部4bとによって、フラットケーブル10は、屈曲することなく、出口部10Aから外部に引き出される。
さらに、当たり部13のコーナー部a1、出口部10Aの開口縁部のコーナー部a2、及び出口部10Aの開口縁部のコーナー部a3を、フラットケーブル10が所定値未満の曲率で緩やかに屈曲する所定値以上の曲率半径Rで形成する。
図10は、補強板の組み付け前の状態を示す斜視図であり、図11は、図10の補強板の取り付け後の状態を示す斜視図である。図10及び図11において、図1から図9までと同一又はこれに相当する構成には同一符号を付している。
フラットケーブル10をディスプレイパネルの外部(不図示)のコネクタから抜き差しする際、フラットケーブル10が、その幅方向又は上下方向に動いてコネクタ11に負荷がかかり、コネクタ11から外れる可能性がある。
補強板14は、この切り欠き部4dに補強板14の取り付け係合部14bを差し込み、係合穴14aにピン4cを挿入することにより取り付けられる。
このように構成することで、フラットケーブル10の幅方向及び上下方向の動きが規制され、フラットケーブル10の抜き差しによってコネクタ11にかかる負荷を大幅に軽減することが可能である。これにより、フラットケーブル10の抜き差しによる負荷でコネクタ11からフラットケーブル10が外れることを防止することができる。
Claims (3)
- 回転軸を周りにディスプレイパネルが回動して開閉するディスプレイ装置であって、
前記ディスプレイパネルの内部に設けた回路基板と、
前記回路基板上に設けたコネクタに装着するフラットケーブルと、
前記ディスプレイパネルの回転軸側の位置に前記回路基板と略同一な高さで設けられ、開口縁部のコーナーが所定値以上の曲率半径で形成されており、前記コネクタに装着した前記フラットケーブルを前記ディスプレイパネルの外部へ引き出す出口部と、
前記コネクタに装着した前記フラットケーブルが接触するコーナーが所定値以上の曲率半径で形成されており、当該フラットケーブルを屈曲させずに前記出口部へ導く引き出し経路部とを備えたディスプレイ装置。 - 前記引き出し経路部は、
前記コネクタに装着した前記フラットケーブルが前記出口部に至るまでに通る前記回路基板と略同一な高さの平面部と、
前記平面部に対向して設けられ、前記フラットケーブルに接触されるコーナーが所定値以上の曲率半径で形成されており、前記平面部の反対側から当該フラットケーブルに接触して屈曲させずに前記出口部へ導く当たり部とから構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記コネクタに装着された前記フラットケーブルの動きを規制する動き規制機構を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のディスプレイ装置。
