Definitions
- the present invention relates to a connector that is attached to, for example, an end portion of an LED substrate and connects the substrates to each other.
- the substrate when a heat-generating electronic component is mounted on the substrate, or when the substrate is mounted on a device having a high temperature around the substrate, the substrate is thermally expanded or contracted. Further, when the substrate is attached to the attachment target surface by an adhesive tape or contact, the substrate may be displaced. However, in a state where the boards are connected to each other by the connector, the male connector and the female connector are relatively immovably fitted so that the thermal expansion, thermal contraction, or misalignment of the board cannot be absorbed. Further, there is a risk of causing deformation of the substrate due to thermal expansion, breakage of the connector, poor connection due to thermal contraction or displacement.
- the male connector and the female connector cannot be attached / detached unless the boards are always horizontal to each other.
