Similarly to the above, by taking these differences, the sensor output can be obtained without any noise component.
- the pixel circuit 30 by sharing one photodiode D1 between the two types of pixel circuits, the influence of variations in sensitivity characteristics of the photodiodes is canceled. - the offset pixel circuit that performs sensing when the infrared LED is turned off includes the output of the sensor pixel circuit that performs sensing while the infrared LED is turned on.
- the output of the offset pixel circuit is subtracted. According to this configuration, since the output of the offset pixel circuit includes only a noise component, a highly accurate sensor output can be obtained by subtracting the noise component.
- each of the first infrared LED group 3b1 and the second infrared LED group 3b2 is turned on once in one frame period, and from all sensor pixel circuits in the same frame. Sensor output readout can be performed. That is, according to the present embodiment, high-speed reading is possible.
- the light receiving element detects light while the second infrared LED 3b2 is lit, and the period during which the light receiving element detects light when the first infrared LED 3b1 is lit (period A1). There is almost no time difference with the period (period A2). For this reason, there is an advantage that the followability to the motion input does not vary depending on the input direction.
- the display device according to the present embodiment starts reading immediately after completion of resetting and starts resetting immediately after completion of reading. For this reason, there is also an advantage that the length and interval of the infrared LED lighting period and extinguishing period can be determined freely.
- the present invention is industrially applicable as a display device having an optical sensor function using invisible light.

Description

トランジスタT1a、M1a、T1b、M1bは、N型TFT(Thin Film Transistor:薄膜トランジスタ)である。
したがって、電位Vintbは、この期間A3(時刻tc~td、赤外線LED3bの消灯期間)に入射した光の量に応じて下降する。
