Definitions
- the present invention relates to a bicycle hub device, and more particularly to a bicycle hub device that supports the rotational movement of a wheel and transmits a load from the wheel to a fork or the like that forms part of a frame. It is.
- Examples of this conventional type include those described in JP-A-2005-231501. This includes a hub case that receives a load input to a rim to which a tire is attached via a spoke, a bearing that supports the hub case so as to be rotatable, and a load that is input to the hub case via the bearing. And a shaft that supports the rotational movement of the hub case.
- a single row angular contact ball bearing is used as a bearing provided between the shaft and the hub case. Therefore, vibrations and shocks are input from the wheels to the bearings having such a configuration due to road surface irregularities and the like when the bicycle is running.
- the load or the hub case may be damaged by the load input based on these vibrations.
- the load input from the wheel to the hub case is once received by a sleeve having a large pressure receiving area, and the load input to the sleeve is provided at both ends of the shaft. It is an object (problem) of the present invention to provide a load distribution type bicycle hub device that is input to a shaft via a ball bearing.
- a shaft that rotatably supports the entire wheel via the bearing It was decided to adopt a structure in which to so that.
- the sleeve is formed on the basis of a cylindrical member with respect to the bicycle hub device that supports the rotational movement of the wheel.
- a configuration is adopted in which a plurality of predetermined slits are provided in the circumferential direction in the vicinity of both ends of the cylindrical member.
- the bicycle hub apparatus for supporting the rotational movement of the wheel is provided at both ends of the shaft and outside the place where the bearing is attached.
- a predetermined male screw portion is provided, and a nut for engaging with the male screw portion and fixing the bearing is provided.
- a spherical washer formed so as to have an O-ring made of a rubber-like elastic body on the inner diameter surface side into which the shaft is fitted is provided outside the nut. It was decided to adopt a configuration.
- the bicycle hub device for supporting the rotational movement of the wheel is provided at the center of the wheel and input from a rim to which the tire is attached.
- a hub case that receives the load via spokes, and is provided on the inner diameter side of the hub case, and transmits the load input to the hub case to the shaft side described later, and rotates the entire wheel including the hub case.
- a nut that engages with the formed male screw portion and fixes the bearing A convex spherical surface formed so as to be engaged with a surface having a concave spherical surface formed on the surface opposite to the side in contact with the bearing of the bearing, and the inner diameter into which the shaft is fitted
- a configuration was adopted in which a spherical washer formed so as to have an O-ring made of a rubber-like elastic body on the surface side was adopted.
- the input load from the wheel is input to the bearing through the hub case and the sleeve, and is transmitted from the inner race of the bearing to the shaft. It becomes.
- the above-mentioned sleeve is designed so that the central part is attached to the inside diameter part of the hub case via press-fitting means or the like.
- the inner diameter side value of the hub case in which the sleeve is accommodated is formed to have a larger value than the central portion.
- a predetermined gap is formed in the radial direction between the inner diameter portion of the hub case and the outer peripheral portion of the sleeve. Therefore, when the load from the wheel is input to the hub case and transmitted to the sleeve, the load is transmitted to the shaft via the bearings provided at both ends of the sleeve, and the both end portions of the sleeve are transmitted. However, it acts so as to be elastically deformed toward the gap provided on the inner diameter side of the hub case. By this elastic deformation, the input load is relaxed and transmitted to the bearing. In this way, in the present invention, the elastic deformation of the sleeve reduces the shocking input load or vibration, and so on, and inputs it to the bearing, shaft, etc. Protection and the like will be achieved.
- the sleeve is formed on the basis of a member having a cylindrical shape, and in the vicinity of both end portions of such a cylindrical member, Since a configuration in which a plurality of predetermined slits are provided in the circumferential direction is adopted, the vicinity of both end portions of the sleeve is elastically deformed more flexibly. As a result, shock load input or vibration input to the wheel can be transmitted to the bearing etc. in a relaxed state, and the bearing can be sufficiently protected and spoke Can be prevented from being damaged.
- the wheel is attached via the spherical washer when the wheel is attached to a fork which is a member on the vehicle body side.
- FIG. 1 the present embodiment is attached to a bifurcated fork 9, and a load from a tire 99 or a rim 95 forming a wheel is transmitted through a spoke 91.
- the present invention relates to a bicycle hub device that is inputted and supports the tire 99 and the like so as to be capable of rotating.
- a cylindrical sleeve 3 provided on the inner diameter portion 81 side of the hub case 8 via press-fitting means or the like based on the hub case 8 to which the spoke 91 is attached; Bearings 4, 4 attached to both ends 35, 35 (see FIG.
- the sleeve 3 is made of a predetermined metal cylindrical member, and a press-fitting means, an adhesion means, a screwing means, etc. are provided at the inner diameter portion 81 of the hub case 8. And are integrally attached to each other (see FIG. 3).
- the end portion of the sleeve 3 installed in the hub case 8 is disposed at the inner diameter portion 81 of the hub case 8 and close to the end portion, for example, as shown in FIG.
- a gap 89 is provided between the first and second members 35.
- the end portion 35 of the sleeve 3 is bent and deformed in the vertical direction as shown in FIG.
- the O-ring 85 made of a rubber-like elastic body is also bent and deformed based on the bending deformation, and the load is transmitted to the bearing 4, the shaft 5, and the like. Due to such bending deformation of the sleeve 3 and further elastic deformation of the O-ring 85 made of a rubber-like elastic body, the load from the wheel is attenuated and transmitted to the shaft 5 and further to the fork 9. The impact force or violent vibration is attenuated and transmitted to the vehicle body in a weakened state. In this way, the input load from the wheel is alleviated, so that the bearing 4 is protected.
- the surface 12 of the spherical washer 1 that is not on the side in contact with the fork 9 has a hemispherical convex surface, and this hemispherical convex surface (convex spherical surface) 12 fixes the bearing 4. For this reason, it is adapted to come into contact with one surface of the nut 2 for the purpose.
- the concave spherical surface 22 side of the nut 2 that engages with the convex spherical surface 12 side of the spherical washer 1 is composed of a concave spherical surface formed so as to be surface-bonded to the convex spherical surface 12.
- the hub case 8 in the vicinity of both ends of the sleeve 3 which is integrally attached to the hub case 8 by press-fitting means, adhesive means, screwing means or the like, the hub case 8 A predetermined gap 89 is provided in the radial direction between the inner diameter portion and the outer peripheral portion of the sleeve 3 (see FIG. 4). Therefore, when a load from the wheel is input to the hub case 8 and transmitted to the sleeve 3, this load is transmitted to the shaft 5 via the bearings 4 provided at both ends 35, 35 of the sleeve 3. The two end portions of the sleeve 3 act so as to be elastically deformed toward the gap 89 provided on the inner diameter side of the hub case 8.
- the elastic deformation of the sleeve 3 reduces the shocking input load or vibration, and the like, so that it is input to the bearing 4, the shaft 5, etc.
- the bearing 4 is protected.
- the sleeve 3 is formed on the basis of a member having a cylindrical shape, and a plurality of circumferential members are provided in the vicinity of both ends of the cylindrical member. Since the slit 33 is provided, the vicinity of both end portions of the sleeve 3 is elastically deformed more flexibly. As a result, shock load input or vibration input to the wheel can be transmitted to the bearing 4 in a relaxed state. As a result, the bearing 4 is sufficiently protected.
