Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Luftfeder, insbesondere für gefederte Radaufhängungen von Kraftfahrzeugfahrwerken, mit einem einen Luftfederkolben (8) mit einem Luftfederdeckel (4) zu einer dichten Luftkammer (12) verbindenden zylindrischen Luftfederrollbalg (10) aus elastomerem Werkstoff, der sich unter Veränderung des Luftkammervolumens zwischen einem Niveau bei eingefedertem Luftfederkolben (8) und einem Niveau bei ausgefedertem Luftfederkolben (8) und unter Bildung einer Rollfalte mit seiner äußeren Mantelfläche luftfederkolbenseitig am Luftfederkolben (8) und luftfederdeckelseitig an einer Außenführung (14) abwälzt, wobei die Außenführung (14) einen Elastomerschlauch (16) mit einer Verstärkungseinlage aufweist. Die Außenführung (14) umfasst eine in den Elastomerschlauch (16) integrierte, bei eingefedertem Luftfederkolben auf Zug belastbare Spiralfeder und die ist sowohl mit dem Luftfederdeckel (4) als auch mit dem Luftfederboden (6) verbunden ist, wobei die axiale Baulänge der Außenführung (14) entsprechend der Federbewegung der Luftfeder (2) variabel ist.
