Abstract

L'invention concerne un séparateur de brouillard d'huile (1) destiné à séparer l'huile du gaz d'aération du carter d'un moteur à combustion interne (8) et comportant un boîtier, un rotor (2) logé pivotant dans le boîtier et séparant l'huile du gaz par la force centrifuge, un dispositif d'entraînement rotatif (4) du rotor (2), logé dans le boîtier et doté d'au moins un ajutage de retour (43) vers lequel l'huile de lubrification sous pression du moteur à combustion interne (8) arrive par un conduit d'huile sous pression (73), une conduite de gaz brut (71) amenant le gaz d'aération du carter dont l'huile est à séparer, une conduite de gaz épuré (72) évacuant le gaz dont l'huile a été séparée, un canal de sortie d'huile (74) évacuant sans pression l'huile de lubrification sortant de l'ajutage de retour (43) vers le carter du moteur à combustion interne (8), et un canal de retour d'huile (75) évacuant l'huile séparée du gaz d'aération du carter hors d'une zone de collecte d'huile (55), un siphon (76) étant disposé sur le tracé du canal de retour d'huile et l'huile séparée traversant ledit canal de retour d'huile en direction du canal de sortie d'huile (74). Le séparateur de brouillard d'huile (1) selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le canal de retour d'huile (75) se trouve dans le boîtier, en ce que le siphon (76) est formé par un tube plongeur (76') formant une partie du canal de retour d'huile (75) et par une cuve de siphon (76'') qui est formée dans le boîtier, ouverte vers le haut et dans laquelle plonge le tube plongeur (76'), et en ce que la cuve de siphon (76'') est située dans une zone du boîtier où, en service, arrive l'huile de lubrification sortant de l'ajutage de retour (43).
