Abstract

ディスクブレーキおよび電動モータ間に、運動変換機構と、第1および第2の遊星ギヤ機構から成る減速機とが設けられる車両用電動ブレーキ装置において、キャリパボディ(26)に取付けられるモータケース(83)およびキャリパボディ(26)間に減速機(23A)を収容する減速室(59)が形成され、第1および第2の遊星ギヤ機構(61,62A)に共通であるリングギヤ(64)が、モータケース(83)およびキャリパボディ(26)で軸方向移動が阻止されるようにして減速室(59)に挿入され、リングギヤ(64)の電動モータ(22A)とは反対側の端部がキャリパボディ(26)に凹凸係合される。これにより、第1および第2の遊星ギヤ機構が共通に備えるリングギヤを固定するための部品点数を極力少なくするとともにリングギヤの組付けを容易とする。
