上記した従来のナットには、ボルトの先端部に押された際に、ナットに回転方向の力を作用させるためのガイド斜面を設けていた(特許文献1の段落番号「0012」及び図7参照)。
また、上記した従来の留め具では、ナットを直立した状態で透孔に挿入するので、ガイド斜面を設けたり、又、ナットを軸部を介して支持する必要があったので、構造が複雑になり、又、既存のナットを利用できないという第2の問題点があった。

ナット90は、図3及び図5に示すように、基部80内に挿入され、外周の直径c1が開口部31の幅a1より長く、内周に雌ネジ部91を有したものである。ナット90は、市販の金属製の六角ナットが使用されている。
ナット90は、図1及び図3に示すように、基部80の開放部101から挿入後、C形鋼30の開口部31を通過可能な傾斜状態に保持された状態で、C形鋼30内の中空部32内に挿入される。
さらに、ナット90は、図3、図10及び図13に示すように、ボルト60のねじ込み操作により、当該ボルト60と雌ネジ部91が螺合し、ブラケット70を介して太陽電池モジュール40を固定する。
(ナット保持部100)
ナット保持部100は、図1、図26、図28及び図29に示すように、開放部101から挿入されたナット90を保持するものである。
(底壁110)
底壁110は、図1、図14及び図15に示すように、ナット保持部100の底に位置する。
支持部111は、基部80の短辺b1の方向に離れて山形に突出した大小2個の小突起112と大突起113とからなる。小さく山形に突出した小突起112は、その斜面によりナット90の角部を傾斜させた状態で支持するものである。大きく山形に突出した大突起113は、ナット90を挿入する際のガイドとして機能する。すなわち、ナット90は、小突起112のみにより傾斜状態に保持しているものである。
(側壁120,130)
側壁120,130は、図1、図14及び図15に示すように、底壁110のC形鋼30の長手方向の前後から上方に延び、ナット保持部100を挟んで対向する。
なお、次の(1)~(4)については、後述する。
(1)仮止め部121,131
(2)ガイド部122,132
(3)制動部123,133
(4)係止爪124,134
なお、側壁120,130の各部は、上記した(1)~(4)に限定されない。
(操作摘み140)
操作摘み140は、図1、図14及び図15に示すように、基部80をC形鋼30の中空部32内に挿入した状態で、図示しないが、開口部31に臨むものである。
なお、操作摘み140は、側壁120,130の一方に設けたが、これに限定されず、基部80の他の箇所に設けても良い。また、操作摘み140を、1個設けたが、これに限定されず、複数個設けても良い。さらに、操作摘み140を開口部31から上方に突出させたが、これに限定せず、開口部31に面していたり、開口部31から引っ込んでいても良く、この場合には、指や治具等を開口部31から差し込んで、操作摘み140をスライドするようにしても良い。
(仮止め部121,131)
仮止め部121,131は、図1、図5、図20、図21及び図29に示すように、側壁120,130の相対向した内側面に凹状に形成され、ナット90を傾斜状態に仮止めするためのものである。
なお、仮止め部121,131を一対設けたが、これに限定されず、単数或いは3個以上設けても良い。
(ガイド部122,132)
ガイド部122,132は、図1、図4及び図16~16に示すように、開放部101の開放上面に位置し、ボルト60の軸部61の挿入方向を規制するためのものである。ガイド部122,132は、側壁120,130の相対向した内側面から相対向して一対突出する。
ガイド部122,132の厚み、すなわちボルト60の挿入方向の厚みは、C形鋼30の肉厚より薄く設定されている。
すなわち、C形鋼30の肉厚が厚いため、図3に示すように、ナット90が巻き上げられると、開口部31に向かって相対向して断面L字形に折れ曲がったC形鋼30の端部の内面、すなわち図3において下面がナット90の上面に当接する。ナット90の上面がC形鋼30の端部の下面に当接した状態において、ガイド部122,132の厚みが薄いため、ナット90の上面は、ガイド部122,132の図13において下面から離れて位置する。なお、図3と図13とを比較すると、基部80の向きを90度異ならせている。
(制動部123,133)
制動部123,133は、図1、図7及び図8に示すように、ナット90が揺動する際に弾性的に当接するものである。
制動部123,133は、ナット90が傾斜状態から開口部31と平行に倒れるように揺動する際に、ナット90の外周に押されて、図7及び図8に示すように、側壁120,130にそれぞれ連接する上端部を中心に、基部80の短辺b1の外方に向かって撓む。このため、ナット90がゆっくりと且つスムーズに倒れるように揺動する。また、制動部123,133が一対有ることから、ナット90が揺動する際に、よじれることなく、平行に倒れる。
(係止爪124,134)
係止爪124,134は、図1及び図14~19に示すように、基部80の外周面に形成され、C形鋼30の開口部31の開口縁に係止するものである。
一方、基部80の高さb2が、C形鋼30の中空部32の内部の高さa3にほぼ等しく設定されていることから、基部80が中空部32内にはまり込むと、図3に示すように、その底が中空部32の底に載る。このため、係止爪124,134が、開口部31を通過後、復元した際に開口部31の両側の内面に弾性的に当接することで、基部80がC形鋼30の長手方向に移動するのを防止している。
(留め具10の取付方法)
つぎに、上記した構成を備えた留め具10を用いて、図3に示すように、構造物であるC形鋼30に対し、相手部材である太陽電池モジュール40を取り付けるためのブラケット70をボルト60を使用して固定する取付方法について説明する。
(留め具10の組み立て)
まず、図1、図26、図28及び図29に示すように、基部80の開放部101からナット90を斜めに挿入して留め具10を組み立てる。
(C形鋼30への留め具10の仮止め)
つぎに、組み立てた留め具10を、図3に示すように、C形鋼30の開口部31に合わせて挿入することで、留め具10をC形鋼30に対して仮止めする。
ここで、基部80を強く挿入すると、開口部31の内縁に押されて、係止爪124,134が内向きにたわみ込むことで、開口部31を通過し、通過後、弾性的に復元することで、開口部31からの基部80の抜けを防止する。
さらに、基部80の操作摘み140は、図示しないが、開口部31から上方に突出する。このため、操作摘み140を摘んで、C形鋼30の長手方向に沿って、基部80をスライドさせることで、後述するブラケット70を取り付ける位置決めを行うことができる。
(C形鋼30へのブラケット70の取り付け)
つぎに、C形鋼30に取り付けた留め具10を使用して、図3に示すように、C形鋼30に対してブラケット70を取り付ける。
ボルト60の軸部61を挿入すると、図4に示すように、その先端部がナット90の傾斜した上側の面に当接する。
ここで、軸部61を強く挿入すると、その先端部に押され、図6~9に示すように、ナット90がナット保持部100の底壁110に向かって倒れ込む。
ナット90が倒れると、雌ネジ部91が開口部31に臨み、ボルト60の軸部61の軸心と、雌ネジ部91の中心とが一致する。
このため、ボルト60をねじ込むと、図10及び図13に示すように、軸部61が雄ねじ部(例えばボルト60)と雌ネジ部(91)が螺合する。

Claims (5)
- 断面略C字状の構造物に相手部材を固定するための留め具であって、
前記留め具は、
前記構造物の開口部から挿入し、短辺が前記開口部の幅より短い基部と、
前記基部内に挿入され、外周の直径が前記開口部の幅より長く、内周に雌ネジ部を有したナットとからなり、
前記基部は、
前記ナット及び雄ネジ部の挿入を可能とする開放部を備え、
前記ナットは、
前記基部の開放部から挿入後、前記構造物の開口部を通過可能な傾斜状態に保持された状態で、前記構造物内の中空部内に挿入され、
前記構造物の前記開口部を通して、前記基部の前記開放部側から前記雄ネジ部を挿入することにより、前記開口部と平行に揺動して、前記雌ネジ部が前記開口部に臨み、
前記雄ネジ部のねじ込み操作により、当該雄ネジ部と前記雌ネジ部が螺合し、前記相手部材を固定することを特徴とする留め具。 - 前記基部の外周面には、
前記構造物の前記開口部の開口縁に係止する係止爪を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の留め具。 - 前記基部には、
当該基部を前記構造物の前記中空部内に挿入した状態で、前記開口部に臨む操作摘みを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の留め具。 - 前記基部には、
前記ナットが揺動する際に弾性的に当接する制動部を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の留め具。 - 前記基部の内側面には、
前記ナットを前記傾斜状態に仮止めする仮止め部を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の留め具。
