Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fusible link unit having a fusible part that is directly attached to a battery mounted on a vehicle and supplies power from the battery to an electric wire.
- Some fuse units for connecting a battery mounted on a vehicle and a power supply electric wire are formed by insert-molding a conductive metal plate-like fuse element having a soluble portion in an insulating resin body.
- this fuse unit is used in a state of being bent in an L shape from an intermediate portion, and has been bent in an L shape from the time of molding.
- the fuse unit is used in an L-shaped bent form to prevent the entire length of the fuse unit from becoming longer as the fusible part increases, and to easily diversify the circuit form in a narrow space around the battery post. This is to make it possible to cope.
- a fuse unit disclosed in Patent Document 1 has been proposed as a solution to the above troublesome problems.
- the fuse element is formed by punching from a single conductive metal plate, and has a flexible portion exposed to the outside of the resin body at an intermediate portion. Therefore, the fuse unit can be bent in an L shape by bending a divided body formed by dividing the flexible part into front and rear with the flexible portion as a rotation center. According to this configuration, the resin body can be integrally molded in a state where the fuse element is flatly developed, the molding die is simplified, and easy molding is possible.
- a round plate terminal (LA terminal) has been added to the standard fuse unit (standard unit) that is commonly installed in the target vehicle.
- a connection part for an optional circuit formed by connecting a plurality of electric wire type fusible links may be provided.
- the electric wire type fusible link that is connected to the fuse unit and forms the connection part for the optional circuit may increase the load on the battery post and damage the battery post when shaken greatly by the vibration of the vehicle, or There is a possibility that the peripheral device may be damaged by colliding with the peripheral device.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and provides a fusible link unit that prevents thermal interference between electric wire type fusible links and does not give the influence at the time of fusing to other electric wire type fusible links.
- the purpose is to obtain a high-quality product having no variation in fusing characteristics.
- the fusible link unit having the configuration of (1) above, when the connection part for the optional circuit is provided in the standard unit, the electric wire type fusible link that constitutes the connection part for the optional circuit is connected to the resin body or the cover. They are separated from each other by at least one of ribs, protrusions, or grooves provided on at least one of them, and heat transfer (that is, thermal interference) between the electric wire type fusible links is eliminated. Thereby, when an overcurrent flows, it becomes possible to blow only by the Joule heat of each electric wire type fusible link itself, and a circuit protection operation according to a standard that is not affected by disturbance can be performed.
- the outer electric wire type fusible link is curved outward and the gap between the central electric wire type fusible link is opened. Thermal interference between each other does not occur more reliably. Moreover, by opening between adjacent electric wire type fusible links, it becomes easy to put a rib or the like in the gap, and the assembling property is improved.
- a fusible link unit configured as described in (1) or (2) above, In the electric wire type fusible link, the round plate terminal is fastened together with a battery terminal portion fixed to a battery post, and is arranged in a gap between the standard unit and the battery.
- the space between the battery and the standard unit is effectively used for the arrangement space of the electric wire type fusible link, and it is not necessary to secure a new accommodation space, thereby saving space. Is planned.
- a fusible link unit having any one of the above configurations (1) to (3), A fusible link unit in which at least one of the ribs, protrusions, and grooves is provided at a plurality of locations along the extending direction of the electric wire type fusible link.
- the electric wire type fusible link is linearly isolated by at least two ribs in the extending direction, and the electric wire type fusible link is bent to be adjacent to each other. It is possible to prevent the wire type fusible link from being approached.
- the electric wire type fusible link constituting the connection part for the optional circuit is connected to the standard unit, and the electric wire type fusible link is provided on the resin body.
- the shake due to the vibration of the vehicle is suppressed. Thereby, damage to the battery post and peripheral devices due to the shake of the electric wire type fusible link is prevented.
- a plurality of holding walls capable of holding the electric wire type fusible link are provided in a direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the plural electric wire type fusible links. Since it is composed of any one of a plurality of ribs, protrusions or grooves that can separate the fusible links, the fluctuation of the electric wire type fusible link is suppressed and the heat between the electric wire type fusible links is reduced. Exchanges can be eliminated, and the structure of the fusible link unit can be simplified.
