- the plug body 105 has a plug body 106 made of rubber and a cover member 107 attached to the plug body 106 so as to cover the outer surface of the plug body 106.
- the lower end portion of the stopper body 106 is press-fitted into the body fluid collection container 102, and the opening 102a is hermetically sealed.
- a concave portion 106 a is provided in the center of the upper surface of the plug body 106.
- the thickness of the portion where the recess 106a is provided is thinner than the portion other than the recess. This relatively thin portion is a piercing portion through which the body fluid collection needle 103 is pierced.
- a plurality of ribs 107 b extending in the vertical direction are provided on the outer surface of the side surface portion 107 a of the cover member 107.
- the rib 107b is for improving the handleability of the body fluid collection container, such as making it easier to remove the plug 105 from the body fluid collection container 102 after body fluid collection or preventing the body fluid collection container from rolling unexpectedly. Is formed.
- the needle tip 103a on one end side of the body fluid collection needle 103 is inserted into the blood vessel.
- the body fluid collection container 102 with the stopper 105 fixed therein is inserted into the holder 101. If the body fluid collection container 102 is continuously inserted in this state, the needle tip 103b pierces the piercing portion as shown in FIG. Since the body fluid collection container 102 is depressurized, blood is sucked into the body fluid collection container 102 via the body fluid collection needle 103.
- the sheath 104 When the body fluid collection container 102 is inserted into the holder 101 to collect blood, the sheath 104 is compressed by the plug body 106 as shown in FIG. Therefore, force is applied to the plug body 106 in the direction indicated by the arrow A by the elastic force of the sheath 104 made of an elastic material. If the needle tip 103b is not pierced through the stopper main body 106 or comes out of the stopper main body 106, blood sampling is interrupted in an incomplete state. Therefore, the blood collection worker must apply a force so as to regulate the backward movement of the body fluid collection container 102 so that the body fluid collection container 102 is not pushed back by the elastic force of the sheath 104. This places a heavy burden on blood collection workers.
- the body fluid collection container 102 is prevented from moving backward by increasing the frictional resistance between the stopper body 106 and the body fluid collection needle 103.
- the body fluid collection needle 103 is subjected to great resistance when penetrating the piercing portion of the plug body 106, and after penetrating the piercing portion, Resistance decreases rapidly. Therefore, the holder 101 tends to wobble during blood collection. Therefore, it is very difficult to collect body fluid such as blood stably and reliably.
- the object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and to collect a body fluid such as blood easily and surely through a stopper body with a hollow body fluid collection needle. - FIG. 11 is a front sectional view for explaining a process of collecting a body fluid by inserting a body fluid collection container provided with a conventional stopper into a holder.
- FIGS. 1A to 1D are a plan view, a front view, a front sectional view, and a partially cutaway front sectional view showing an enlarged main part of a plug according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 2 is a front view showing a step of inserting the bodily fluid collecting container provided with the stopper according to the first embodiment of the present invention into the holder.
- the plug body 1 has a plug body 2 and a cover member 3.
- the plug body 2 seals the opening of the body fluid collection container.
- the plug body 2 is connected to the press-fitting part 2a through a press-fitting part 2a that is press-fitted into the opening of the body fluid collection container, and a step 2b that spreads outward from the outer periphery of the press-fitting part 2a at the upper end of the press-fitting part 2a.
- Holding part 2c In the present embodiment, since the planar shape of the opening of the body fluid collection container 14 to which the stopper 1 is attached is circular, the outer periphery of the press-fit portion 2a has a cylindrical shape.
- the outer peripheral surface of the grip portion 2c also has a cylindrical shape. But the press-fit part 2a and the holding part 2c may have shapes other than the cylindrical outer peripheral surface.
- the outer diameter of the press-fitting portion 2a is slightly larger than the diameter of the upper end opening of the body fluid collection container 14 so that the upper end opening of the applied body fluid collection container can be hermetically sealed.
- the outer diameter of the grip portion 2c is larger than the outer diameter of the press-fit portion 2a, thereby forming the step 2b.
- the grip 2c has a recess 2d in the center.
- the grip portion 2c has an annular shape so as to surround the recess 2d.
- a recess 2e that opens downward is formed. Since the recessed portion 2d and the recessed portion 2e are provided, the thickness of the portion where the recessed portion 2d and the recessed portion 2e face each other is made thinner than the surrounding portion. This relatively thin portion constitutes the piercing portion 2f.
- the body fluid collection needle can be easily and reliably pierced through the piercing portion as will be described later.
- the piercing portion 2f has a circular planar shape.
- the stopper body 2 is fixed to the body fluid collection container 14 so as to hermetically seal the body fluid collection container 14, it is desirable that the stopper body 2 is made of an elastic material having elasticity.

- the side surface portion 3c is formed of a cylindrical member having a first opening 3d at the upper end and a second opening 3e at the lower end.
- the inner diameter on the second opening 3e side positioned below is relatively larger than the inner diameter on the first opening 3d side. Therefore, the cover member 3 is formed so that the opening diameter gradually increases from the upper part to the lower part.
- the side surface portion 3c extends upward from the top plate portion 3a, and the portion above the top plate portion 3a constitutes the annular side wall 3f. Further, a step 3g is formed on the inner surface of the side surface portion 3c in a direction crossing the direction in which the inner wall of the side surface portion 3c extends in the vertical direction. In the lower portion than the portion where the step 3g is provided, the inner diameter of the side surface portion 3c is made smaller than the outer diameter of the lower end of the grip portion 2c of the plug body 2. Therefore, the stopper main body 2 inserted into the cover member 3 does not fall downward due to the step 3g.
- the distance between the lower surface of the top plate portion 3a and the step 3g is equal to or slightly smaller than the vertical dimension of the grip portion 2c of the plug body 2.
- the plug body 2 can be press-fitted between the top plate portion 3a and the step 3g, and the position thereof can be reliably fixed.
- a portion 3h below the annular side wall 3f and up to the step 3g is in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the grip portion 2c of the plug body 2.
- the inner surface of the top plate portion 3a and the inner surface of the portion 3h are in close contact with the outer surface of the grip portion 2c of the plug body 2.
- the side surface portion 3c has a skirt portion 3i that is continuous below the portion 3h. As will be described later, the skirt 3i is positioned outside the outer peripheral surface of the body fluid collection container.
- the lower end of the skirt portion 3i forms the second opening 3e.
- a plurality of slits 3j are provided so as to extend upward from the lower end.
- the upper end of the slit 3j is located below the lower end of the press-fit portion 2a of the plug body 2.
- the skirt portion 3i is configured to be easily deformable when an external force is applied in the radial direction.
- the skirt portion 3i comes into contact with the inner wall of the holder and easily deforms toward the center of the tube to give an appropriate frictional resistance.
- the deformed portion applies a force outward from the center of the tube by the elasticity, so that the plug 1 is held by the holder with an appropriate force.
- belt-shaped body 3k which is a protrusion part of this invention is provided in the outer surface.
- the protrusion 3k constitutes a maximum outer diameter portion in the plug body 1.
- the maximum outer diameter portion has such a size that, when inserted into the holder, it is pressed against the inner wall of the holder to give a frictional resistance.
- the belt-like body 3k is formed of a material different from that of the cover member 3.
- the band-shaped body 3 k is an annular band-shaped body that extends in the circumferential direction of the side surface portion 3 c of the cover member 3.
- the protrusion part in this invention may not be the annular body extended in the circumferential direction on the side part 3c of the cover member 3. FIG. That is, a plurality of protrusions may be provided along the circumferential direction.
- the outer surface of the band-shaped body 3k as the protruding portion protrudes radially outward from the outer surface of the side surface portion 3c.
- the maximum outer diameter portion of the strip 3k constitutes the maximum outer diameter portion of the side surface portion 3c. That is, the diameter of the maximum outer diameter portion of the band-shaped body 3k is made larger than the maximum outer diameter portion of the cover member 3 that is configured separately.
- the maximum outer diameter portion of the belt-like body 3k is sized to contact the inner wall of the holder and give a frictional resistance when inserted into the holder described later. As a result, the frictional resistance between the inner wall of the holder and the plug body 1 is increased, and it is possible to prevent the plug body 2 from coming off from the needle during body fluid collection.
- the material constituting the strip 3k is a material that can increase the frictional resistance.
- examples of such materials include elastic materials such as rubber and thermoplastic elastomers, relatively flexible polyolefins such as low density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene, low density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene, and high density polyethylene. A mixture etc. are mentioned.
- the cover member 3 formed separately from the belt-like body 3k is made of a synthetic resin because it is easy to mold.
- a synthetic resin include polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene.
- an annular groove 3m corresponding to the shape of the band-shaped body 3k is formed in the side surface portion 3c where the band-shaped body 3k is provided.
- a part of the belt-like body 3k enters the annular groove 3m, and thereby the vertical position of the belt-like body 3k is fixed. Therefore, the protrusion amount X1 from the outer surface of the side surface portion 3c of the band 3k is thinner than the thickness of the band 3k.
- an annular groove 3m does not necessarily need to be provided. That is, the belt-like body 3k may be fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the side surface portion 3c by adhesion or the like.
- the lower end of the strip 3k is located above the lower end of the side surface portion 3c.
- the feature of the plug body 1 of the present embodiment is that a protruding portion made of the band-shaped body 3k is provided on the outer surface of the side surface portion 3c of the cover member 3.
- a holder that is widely used in combination with a blood collection container or the like has an inner diameter of 16 mm to 18 mm, and a height dimension of a space in the holder is 44 mm to 49 mm.
- the general holder is made of a synthetic resin such as polypropylene.
- the maximum outer diameter of the strip 3k is preferably in the range of 17.0 to 18.5 mm.
- the inner diameter of the holder combined with a generally used blood collection container is usually 16 mm to 18 mm as described above. Accordingly, when the maximum outer diameter of the strip 3k is in the range of 17.0 to 18.5 mm, the magnitude of the frictional resistance between the holder inner wall and the strip 3k can be set to an appropriate value. When the distance is less than 17.0 mm, the magnitude of the frictional resistance becomes small, and it may be difficult to reliably prevent the bodily fluid collection needle fixed to the holder from coming off from the plug body 1. If it exceeds 18.5 mm, it may be difficult to insert the plug 1.
- the distance X2 between the upper end of the strip 3k and the side surface portion 3c is within 8 mm.
- An additional structure is often formed in the vicinity of the position where the body fluid collection needle on the upper end side inside the holder is mounted in order to improve the handleability. The effect can be exhibited without being influenced by the internal shape of the holder tip near the needle mounting portion.
- the width of the strip 3k that is, the width W in FIG. 1 (d) is preferably in the range of 1 to 8 mm. If it is less than 1 mm, the effect of increasing the frictional resistance may not be sufficiently obtained, and if it exceeds 8 mm, the frictional resistance may be too high.
- the protrusion X1 is preferably 0.25 mm to 1.5 mm.
- the frictional resistance can be set to an appropriate value. If it is less than 0.25 mm, the effect of increasing the frictional resistance may not be sufficiently obtained, and if it exceeds 1.5 mm, the frictional resistance becomes too high, and insertion into and removal from the holder may become difficult. is there.
- the belt-like body 3k is composed of a vulcanized rubber or a thermoplastic elastomer having a Shore hardness of A10 to A99 according to JIS K7215.
- a vulcanized rubber or a thermoplastic elastomer having such a hardness range an appropriate frictional resistance can be given to the inner wall of the holder, which is desirable.
- the total dimension X3 of the height of the annular side wall 3f above the top plate portion 3a and the depth of the recess 2d provided in the plug body 2 is preferably 4 mm to 8 mm.
- the dimension X3 is preferably 4 mm to 8 mm.
- the plurality of slits 3j are provided in order to increase the flexibility with respect to the external force applied in the radial direction of the skirt portion 3i as described above, but the slit width X4 is preferably 1 to 3 mm. .
- the depth X5 of the slit 3j that is, the length X5 from the lower end of the cover member 3 to the upper end of the slit 3j is preferably within 8 mm. If it exceeds 8 mm, the vertical dimension of the cover member 3 will increase, and the plug 1 will be enlarged. If it is less than 8 mm, the effect which raises a softness
- the body fluid collection container equipped with the stopper of the present invention When the body fluid collection container equipped with the stopper of the present invention is placed horizontally, for example, it will be grounded at the lower end of the 3i or 3p portion of FIG. 7 (d) described later, but by providing a slit as described above Since a cutout portion is formed on the outer periphery of the lower end of the 3i or 3p portion, rolling of the body fluid collection container can also be suppressed. Therefore, when a body fluid collection container equipped with the stopper of the present invention is placed on the desk after body fluid collection or the like, it can be prevented from rolling and falling from the desk.
- the number of the plurality of slits 3j is arbitrary, it is desirable to provide three or more slits. Thereby, flexibility can be further enhanced.
- the upper limit of the number of slits is not particularly limited as long as the portion missing by the slit is 50% or less of the total circumferential length of the belt-like body that can contact the inner surface of the holder when there is no slit.
- the number of slits is desirably 8 or less, and when the outer diameter of the band is 18.5 mm and the slit width is set to 3 mm
- the number of slits is desirably 9 or less.
- the thickness X6 of the piercing portion 2f is preferably in the range of 1 mm to 4 mm in the case of a body fluid sampling needle with a standard such as 21G. If it is less than 1 mm, the piercing property is improved, but the bodily fluid collection needle may be easily removed. If it exceeds 4 mm, the piercing resistance becomes too high, and the piercing operation may be difficult.
- a plurality of ribs 3n extending in the vertical direction are formed above the strip 3k.

- the sheath 13 comes into contact with the stopper main body 2, and further, the needle tip 12 b comes into contact with the inner surface of the sheath 13. It will be pierced. Therefore, the sheath 13 remains on the upper part of the plug body 2. Moreover, as the insertion operation proceeds, the sheath 13 is compressed, and as shown in FIG. 4, the sheath 13 is located in a space surrounded by the recess 2d of the plug body 2 and the annular side wall 3f. In this case, when the sheath 13 is compressed, the elastic force indicated by the arrow Z1 acts on the plug body 2.
- the stopper body 2 is moved downward relative to the body fluid collection needle 12, and the needle tip 12b may fall off the stopper body 2.
- the plug body 1 of the present embodiment since the frictional resistance between the outer surface of the strip 3k and the inner wall of the holder 11 is increased, the plug body 2 is difficult to move downward. That is, the effect of the elastic force can be suppressed by the frictional resistance. Accordingly, the needle tip 12b does not come out of the stopper body 2.
- the thickness of the piercing portion 2f of the plug body 1 can be reduced. Therefore, the operation of collecting the body fluid by inserting the body fluid collection container 14 into the holder 11 can be performed without difficulty.
