Abstract

La présente invention concerne une transmission automatique pour une bicyclette comprenant : une unité de pignon avant reliée à une pédale ; une unité de pignon arrière reliée à une roue arrière ; et un élément de chaîne dont les deux extrémités sont enroulées sur un pignon de l'unité de pignon avant et sur un pignon de l'unité de pignon arrière, respectivement, une vitesse pouvant être changée en fonction de la combinaison des diamètres des pignons. L'unité de pignon avant reçoit une force de rotation et effectue des rotations dans la direction d'avancement d'un corps de bicyclette comprenant une pédale, mais ne reçoit pas de force de rotation dans la direction opposée à ladite direction de rotation. La transmission automatique de la présente invention permet de changer de vitesse sans avoir à appuyer sur la pédale pendant le déplacement.
