Abstract

본 발명은 쌍롤식 박판 주조기의 에지댐의 진동 제어 장치 및 그 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 진동판을 진동 파형에 따라 수평 진동시켜 상기 진동판에 결합된 에지댐 내화물을 수평 진동시키는 진동부와, 상기 수평 진동을 위해 진동 파형을 상기 진동부로 출력하는 서보 밸브와, 상기 서보 밸브에 진동 파형을 인가하여 상기 진동부의 수평 진동을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍롤식 박판 주조기의 에지댐 수평 진동 제어 장치 및 그 제어방법을 기술적 요지로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 주조 상황에 따라 진폭, 진동수 및 진동 파형을 가변적으로 제어하고, 서보 밸브 및 유압 실린더를 이용하여 에지댐을 수평으로 진동 시킴으로써, 에지 스컬을 신속히 제거하고, 스컬의 생성 및 성장을 억제하며, 주조롤이나 에지댐의 파손을 저감시켜 주조 안정성을 확보하고, 양호한 품질의 주편을 생산할 수 있다.
