Abstract
Description
このようなカバーで、筒蓋状で、発電機本体への取り付けは3箇所のねじ固定部と1箇所のフック状固定部で固定されるものが例えば、特許文献1に示されている
さらに、ねじ固定部とは別の固定を担うフック状固定部と電圧調整器部やブラシ筒状部に設けた顎部との構成は、ねじ固定部よりも大きく比較的長さもあって、そのためだけにスペースを使ってしまっていた。
前記構成部品の、前記カバー内面に近接して対向する部位に設けた凹部に、前記カバー内面に設けた凸部を嵌め込むよう構成すると共に、前記嵌め込み構成は、発電機カバー内部から外部に突出する前記構成部品の外部接続端子の、少なくとも点対称位置に設けるようにしたものである。
図1は、実施の形態1による車両用交流発電機の断面図であり、図2は図1のリヤカバーをリヤ端からみた平面視図である。
先ず車両用交流発電機の全体構造を図1に基づいて説明する。
図1において、車両用交流発電機は、構成部品を支承するケース1であるフロントブラケット2、リヤブラケット3、このケース1に挟持される固定子4、同じくケース1にベアリング21、31を介して支持される回転子5を備え、回転子5が備えるシャフト6にはプーリ7が設けられ、ベルト(図示せず)により回転駆動できるように構成されている。回転子5内部には、界磁コイル8が装着され、シャフト6の一端にはスリップリング9が設けられ、界磁コイル8と電気的に接続されており、このスリップリング9およびブラシ10を介して外部コネクタ11との接続部であるコネクタ端子12から電流が供給されるようになっている。また、ケース1が支承する構成部品として、界磁コイル8に電流が供給され回転駆動されて生じる回転磁界により固定子4のコイル41に発生する交流を、直流に整流する整流装置13と、その発生した電力を規定値に制限する電圧調整器14とが配置されている。上記の構成部品の外周は、樹脂などの絶縁材から成るカバー15で覆われて外部より保護される。
外部コネクタ11が装着されるコネクタ端子12が隣接して配置される。
整流装置13は、複数個(例えば6個)の正極側整流素子131を支持する正極側冷却部材132と、複数個(例えば6個)の負極側整流素子133を支持する負極側冷却部材134と、整流素子131、133と固定子4のコイル41とを電気的に接続する配線部材を有する端子台135、とを備えている。正極側冷却部材132には、発電機の出力を外部に取り出す出力端子ボルト(以下Bターミナル端子と称す。)が電気的に接続され、この端子は前述のコネクタ端子先端と共に交流発電機フレームの外部に突出している。
このようにカバー15は、構成部品の配置状態に合わせた形状からなり、ほぼ最終工程段階で発電機に取り付けられる。取り付けの際は、例えば図2に示すBターミナル端子露出箇所BTからBターミナル先端を露出させ、コネクタ端子露出箇所CTからコネクタ端子先端を露出させるよう調整をしながら作業が行われる。もちろんそれぞれ、カバー15より外側に必ずしも突出する必要は無く、端子が接続に不都合のない状態、また、開口面に障害がない構成であればよい。
上述したように、カバー15は構成部品が取り付けられた発電機に単純に載せるわけではなく、構成部品配置と露出とを考慮して行うので、位置ずれが生じやすい傾向にある。
実施の形態1の発明は、この段階で、図3に示すように、カバー15内面に設けた凸部15aを、整流装置13の冷却部材132のカバー15内面に近接する対向面に設けた凹部13aに嵌め込むよう構成したものである。嵌め込まれる側は、カバー15内面に近接する対向面なので、このカバー15位置決め作業時のずれや調整が最低限で済むようになっている。そして嵌め込み直後あるいは同時に、図示しない公知の方法で、カバー最外周部の複数個所がリヤブラケット3の外周部に嵌め込まれ固定される。
また、図3に示すように抜き通しとすることも可能であるが、勿論ごく小さい凹部(窪み)で済ませても良く、いずれにしても延出した固定部を設けることが不要となる。
例えば、図4に示されるような、円弧状に構成された整流装置13の冷却部材であれば、整流素子隣接間に設けるある程度必要な離間スペースに凹部13aを配置することが可能で、空間利用効率が高い。
例えば、図2に示すように、2箇所離れて設けた外面凹部(外面から見て)16aを、発電機に取り付ける際のカバー保持部として用いることができる。外面凹部16aに、図示しないはさみ状の冶具を挿入し挟み込んで、製造ライン上でカバー15の搬送等を容易に行える。この場合、カバー15の最外周部をつかむ場合よりも、冶具自体や冶具稼動範囲が小さくて済み、製造スペース、製造効率の向上が可能である。
同様に、電圧調整器14と電気的に接続されるコネクタ端子12や、整流装置13のBターミナル端子Tbについての延出方向(発電機に対しては径方向や軸方向)については、車両側接続部の様態によって仕様が決まるものであり、図示はその一例である。
コネクタ端子12とBターミナル端子Tbとの配置や発電機との位置関係についても、その車両側仕様と発電機構成部品の構成・配置との双方を考慮して決められているので、図示の配置に限定されるものでない。
Claims (7)
- 構成部品を支承するケース、前記ケースに回転可能に支承される回転子、前記回転子の外周に位置し前記ケースに挟持される固定子、前記固定子に備えられる固定子巻線、前記固定子巻線に発生する交流の起電力を直流に整流する整流装置、前記発生電力を規定値に制限する電圧調整器を備え、構成部品である前記整流装置と前記電圧調整器の少なくとも一方は、前記ケースの回転子と反対側に支持されて外周がカバーにより保護されるものにおいて、
前記構成部品の、前記カバー内面に近接して対向する部位に設けた凹部に、前記カバー内面に設けた凸部を嵌め込むよう構成すると共に、前記嵌め込み構成は、発電機カバー内部から外部に突出する前記構成部品の外部接続端子の、少なくとも点対称位置に設けることを特徴とする車両用交流発電機。 - 前記嵌め込み構成を備える構成部品は、交流発電機に取り付けられる前記整流装置と前記電圧調整器の少なくともいずれか一方であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用交流発電機。
- 前記整流装置に備える嵌め込み構成は、整流素子冷却部材の前記カバー内面に近接して対向する対向面に設ける凹部で構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用交流発電機。
- 前記電圧調整器に備える嵌め込み構成は、電圧調整器冷却部材の前記カバー内面に近接して対向する対向面に設ける凹部で構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用交流発電機。
- 前記電圧調整器に備える嵌め込み構成は、電圧調整器コネクタ部の前記カバー内面に近接して対向する対向面に設ける凹部で構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用交流発電機。
- 前記電圧調整器に備える嵌め込み構成は、前記ブラシ収納部の前記カバー内面に近接して対向する対向面に設ける凹部で構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用交流発電機。
- 前記カバー内面に設けた凸部はその背面部に、カバーを外面側から保持するカバー保持部を有することを特徴とする請求項1~請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の車両用交流発電機。
