Abstract
Description
一実施形態による回転電機を図1〜4に基づいて説明する。図1に示す回転電機1は、例えば、車両に搭載される。回転電機1は、バッテリ5(図2参照)が供給する電力によって車両を駆動するための駆動力を発生可能であるとともに、車両の図示しないエンジンが出力する駆動力によってバッテリ5を充電するための電力を発生可能である。回転電機1は、回転部10、制御部20、及び、「カバー部材」としてのカバー30を備えている。
上述の実施形態では、回転電機は、車両に搭載されるとした。しかしながら、回転電機が適用される分野はこれに限定されない。

Claims (4)
- ハウジング(11,12)と、
前記ハウジングに回転可能に収容されているロータ(14)と、
前記ロータの径外方向に設けられるステータ(13)と、
前記ステータに巻回されているコイル(132)と、
前記ロータと一体に回転可能に形成され、前記ハウジングに相対回転可能に支持されているシャフト(15)と、
前記シャフトの一端を支持する前記ハウジングのシャフト支持部(111)の前記ハウジングの外部側において前記シャフトの回転軸(CA1)の径外方向に設けられ、前記コイルに電気的に接続する複数のスイッチング素子(221,222,223,224,241,242,243,244、261,262,263,264)、及び、前記スイッチング素子の前記シャフトの回転軸側にのみ設けられる冷却フィン(212,232,252)を有し、前記コイルに交流を供給可能であって前記コイルで発生する交流を直流に整流可能な制御モジュール(21,23,25)と、
前記制御モジュールの前記ハウジングとは反対側に設けられるカバー底部(32)を有するカバー部材(30)と
を備え、
前記冷却フィンは、前記カバー底部側の端面(238)が前記カバー底部の内壁面(321)の形状に沿うよう形成されている回転電機。 - 前記シャフトの一端側に設けられ、前記コイルと前記制御モジュールとに電気的に接続可能なブラシ(28)を支持するブラシホルダ(282)をさらに備え、
前記冷却フィンは、径方向内側の先端(217,237,257)が前記ブラシホルダの径方向外側の外壁面(283)の形状に沿うよう形成されている請求項1に記載の回転電機。 - 前記カバー底部は、外部と内部とを連通するカバー通気孔(301,302、303)を有し、
前記カバー通気孔は、前記冷却フィンに対して前記回転軸に沿う方向に位置する請求項1または2に記載の回転電機。 - 前記シャフトの一端側に設けられ、前記コイルと前記制御モジュールとに電気的に接続可能なブラシ(28)をさらに備え、
前記シャフト支持部は、前記冷却フィンの前記シャフトの回転軸に沿った方向に前記ハウジングの外部と内部とを連通するハウジング通気孔(112,113,114)を有し、
前記ハウジング通気孔は、前記シャフトの近傍に位置する請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の回転電機。
