Abstract

본 발명은 예초기의 칼날을 보호하며, 구동모터의 구동력에 의한 커버판의 파손을 방지할 수 있는 베어링유닛과 이를 이용한 예초기용 보호커버에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 예초기용 보호커버는 작업대에 설치되는 구동모터의 구동축에 설치되는 칼날을 보호하기 위한 것으로, 상기 칼날의 하부에 위치하도록 상기 구동축과 결합되는 베어링과, 상기 베어링과 결합되며 상기 칼날의 회전 직경보다 상대적으로 큰 직경을 갖도록 형성되어 상기 칼날을 보호하는 보호플레이트를 구비하는 커버부재와, 상기 보호플레이트가 상기 구동모터의 구동력에 의해 회전력을 받을 때, 소정각도 회전 가능하도록 상기 보호플레이트를 지지하는 플레이트 회전지지수단과, 상기 보호플레이트가 휘어져 상기 칼날과 충돌하는 것을 방지하도록 상기 칼날과 상기 보호플레이트 사이의 이격거리를 일정 거리 이상으로 유지시키는 간격유지부재를 구비한다. 본 발명에 따른 베어링유닛은 예초기의 칼날과 예초기용 보호커버의 호환성을 높일 수 있으며, 예초 작업 중 베어링으로 이물질이 유입되는 것을 효과적으로 차단함으로써 베어링의 파손에 의한 예초기용 보호커버의 수명이 단축되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
