Abstract
Description
(2)これにより、グリップが装着されたシャフトを抜き差し及び回転させることなく、調角ユニット部を回転させることにより、ユーザーが任意の調角位置を選択することができる。
(3)更に、前記ホーゼルパーツ部について、このパーツの機能をヘッド本体のホーゼル穴部に直接採用、すなわち、このパーツの構造をヘッド成型時に一体成型する事も可能であるため、ホーゼルパーツ部の重量を軽量化でき、ヘッドの低重心化を可能とすることを特徴とする。尚、前記ゴルフクラブには、ウッド(ドライバー、フェアウェイウッド、ユーティリティ)などに限らず、前記調角パーツが適用可能なアイアン、パターも含まれる。
(4)前記ホーゼルパーツ部とシャフトが装着されたプラグ部の接触面、すなわち、擦り合わせ面においては、隙間、段差がなく、密着に優れた球面形状の擦り合わせ面を有し、且つヘッド回転防止のための凸凹形状についても独自の形状を有し、結合ボルトで、一定のトルクで締め付けを行なうことにより、強固に固定されることも含まれる。
(6)シャフトを一定方向に保てるため、シャフトデザインを自由に選択できる。
(7)シャフトを一定方向に保てるため、グリップのデザインの選択の自由度、バックライン等の機能性のあるグリップが装着可能である。
(8)ヘッドとシャフトが簡単に脱着出来る構造であるため、シャフトの種類も自由に選択可能である。
(9)角度調整位置については、製造側が指定した調角位置ではなく、ユーザーが、自由に、任意の調角位置を選択することが可能である。
(10)プラグの、シャフト接合部に面取り加工が可能なため、シャフト折損を大幅に削減させることが可能である。
(11)これらの調角パーツのうち、ホーゼルパーツ部について、その構造を直接ヘッド本体に一体構造として成型可能であるため、ホーゼルパーツ部の重量分が軽量化になり、その軽量化分の重量をヘッド本体に振り分けられるため、ヘッドの更なる低重心化が可能となる。
注2)シャフト差込み孔4の内径部テーパー角が、1.0°の例。
注3)フェース角βは、シャフト中心軸線に直交する方向に対するフェース面2aのなす角度。スライスフェースは+表示、フックフェースは-表示。
注4)この角度調整例に使用したヘッド1は、ウッド型ユーティリティヘッド(ロフト角20度)の例を示す。

Claims (5)
- ヘッド本体に一体または別体で備えられるとともに貫通孔状のシャフト差込み孔を設けたホーゼル部と、シャフトの先端部に固定されるとともに前記シャフト差込み孔に差し込まれる有底筒状のプラグ部材と、前記シャフト差込み孔にその下端開口から挿入され、上方へ抜けることがないよう抜け止め係合部を設けた調角部材と、前記調角部材に設けたボルト挿入孔から挿入され、前記プラグ部材の端面部に設けた雌ネジ部にねじ込まれることにより前記調角部材およびプラグ部材を前記ホーゼル部に対し着脱自在に固定する固定ボルトとを有し、
前記シャフト差込み孔の上端開口周縁部とこれに対応する前記プラグ部材の外周部に球面軸受構造が設けられ、かつ前記ホーゼル部に対し前記プラグ部材を回り止めする回り止め構造が設けられ、
前記シャフト差込み孔に差し込まれた前記プラグ部材の下端部外周面とこれに対応する前記シャフト差込み孔の内周面との間に径方向間隙が設定され、
円周上一部で前記径方向間隙に挿入されることにより前記プラグ部材の下端部を前記シャフト差込み孔内で径方向何れかの方向へ片寄った状態で位置決めするスペーサ部が前記調角部材に設けられ、
前記スペーサ部が円周上何れの位置で前記径方向間隙に挿入されるかによって前記シャフトに対する前記ヘッド本体の固定角度が調整可能とされていることを特徴とするゴルフクラブ。 - 請求項1記載のゴルフクラブにおいて、
前記球面軸受構造は、前記シャフト差込み孔の上端開口周縁部に設けられた環状の凹面状球面部と、前記プラグ部材の外周部に環状段差部を設けることによりこの段差部に設けられた環状の凸面状球面部との組み合わせよりなることを特徴とするゴルフクラブ。 - 請求項1記載のゴルフクラブにおいて、
前記回り止め構造は、前記シャフト差込み孔の上端開口周縁部に設けられた円周上一部の凹部と、前記プラグ部材の外周部に環状段差部を設けることによりこの段差部に設けられた円周上一部の凸部との組み合わせよりなることを特徴とするゴルフクラブ。 - 請求項1ないし3の何れかに記載のゴルフクラブにおいて、
前記シャフト差込み孔がその上端から下端へかけての方向で内径寸法を徐々に拡大するテーパー面状に形成されること、および/または前記プラグ部材がその上端から下端へかけての方向で外径寸法を徐々に縮小するテーパー面状に形成されることにより、前記シャフト差込み孔に差し込まれた前記プラグ部材の下端部外周面とこれに対応する前記シャフト差込み孔の内周面との間に径方向間隙が設定されることを特徴とするゴルフクラブ。 - 請求項1ないし4の何れかに記載のゴルフクラブにおいて、
前記調角部材は、前記シャフト差込み孔にその下端開口から挿入される円盤状本体を有し、前記円盤状本体の外周面に鍔状ないし段差状を呈する前記抜け止め係合部が設けられ、前記円盤状本体の一端面における外周縁部に沿って円周上一部の前記スペーサ部が軸方向一方へ向けて一体成形され、前記スペーサ部はこれを軸方向一方から見て円弧形に成形され、
更に、前記円盤状本体の外径寸法から前記スペーサ部の径方向厚み寸法を差し引いた分の長さを直径とする円形状の中心位置に前記ボルト挿入孔が設けられていることを特徴とするゴルフクラブ。
