<3> 前記<1>に記載のアイオノマー組成物は、前記アイオノマー及び前記ダイマー酸の合計量100質量部に対するダイマー酸の含有比率が1~30質量部であることが好ましい。
このような、エチレン・α,β-不飽和カルボン酸共重合体は、公知の例えば高温高圧下のラジカル重合法により得られる、エチレンとα,β-不飽和カルボン酸のランダム共重合体がある。
<8> 前記<1>~前記<7>のいずれか1つに記載のアイオノマー組成物を用いて成形された成形体である。
本発明のアイオノマー組成物は、エチレン・α,β-不飽和カルボン酸共重合体のアイオノマーと、ダイマー酸とを少なくとも含む。また本発明のアイオノマー組成物は、その目的および効果を損なわない範囲において、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤、耐候安定剤、酸化防止剤、帯電防止剤、無機充填剤、難燃剤、難燃助剤、発泡剤、発泡助剤、架橋剤、架橋助剤、顔料などの着色剤等、任意の他の成分を用いて構成することができる。
アイオノマー組成物に含まれるエチレン・α,β-不飽和カルボン酸共重合体のアイオノマーは、エチレン由来の構成単位及びα,β-不飽和カルボン酸に由来の構成単位を有する共重合体の少なくとも一部が金属イオンにより中和された樹脂である。
前記α,β-不飽和カルボン酸エステルとしては、特に、アクリル酸又はメタクリル酸のメチルエステル、エチルエステル、ノルマルブチルエステル、イソブチルエステルが好ましい。
本発明のアイオノマー組成物は、ダイマー酸の少なくとも一種類を含有する。ダイマー酸は、不飽和脂肪酸の2分子又はそれ以上の分子が重合反応して得られる多価カルボン酸であって、通常2種類以上の混合物として得られ、混合物として各種の用途に供されている。
また、ダイマー酸は、炭素原子数8~22の直鎖状又は分岐状の不飽和脂肪酸を二量化することによって得られるものであり、その誘導体も含まれる。ダイマー酸の誘導体としては、水素添加物などを挙げることができる。具体的には、前記ダイマー酸に水素化、別の表現では水素添加反応(水添ともいう)を付与して、含有される不飽和結合を還元した水添ダイマー酸などが使用できる。
ダイマー酸を前記アイオノマーとともに含有することにより、アイオノマーの流動性が向上する。
-シランカップリング剤-
本発明のアイオノマー組成物は、シランカップリング剤を含んでもよい。
シランカップリング剤としては、γ-メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-メタクリロキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、γ-アクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-アクリロキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、N-(β-アミノエチル)-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N-(β-アミノエチル)-γ-アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、γ-アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、γ-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランなどを例示することができる。中でも、シランカップリング剤としては、非接着物との間の接着性を高める点で、アミノ基を含有するアルコキシシランが好ましい。
トリアルコキシシランを用いた場合には、被接着物に対する接着性をより向上できるので好ましい。ジアルコキシシランを用いた場合には、シート成形時の加工安定性を維持することができるので好ましい。
本発明のアイオノマー組成物には、更に、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤、酸化防止剤、老化防止剤、熱安定剤、滑剤、ブロッキング防止剤、可塑剤、粘着剤、無機充填剤、ガラス繊維、カーボン繊維などの強化繊維、顔料、染料、難燃剤、難燃助剤、発泡剤、発泡助剤などを含有してもよい。また、帯電防止剤を配合することもできる。
前記光安定剤としては、例えばヒンダードアミン系のものが挙げられる。
前記酸化防止剤としては、各種ヒンダードフェノール系やホスファイト系のものが挙げられる。
本発明の成形体は、既述の本発明のアイオノマー組成物を用いて構成されたものであり、このアイオノマー組成物を用いて成形されたものであること以外は制限はない。本発明においては、成形体が押出し成形品、プレス成形品、射出成形品であることが好ましい。
成膜に際してアイオノマーを供給する方法としては、アイオノマーを溶融して供給できる方法であれば制限はなく、例えば射出成形法、溶融押出成形法などが挙げられる。また、加圧下で成形する方法としては、所望の金型等に圧入したり、成膜された膜の上から熱板を押圧する等により加熱プレスする方法などが挙げられる。
-樹脂-
・アイオノマー1:
エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体(メタクリル酸由来の構成単位=15質量%)の亜鉛アイオノマー(中和度:59%、MFR:0.9g/10分)
・アイオノマー2:
エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体(メタクリル酸由来の構成単位=15質量%)のナトリウムアイオノマー(中和度:54%、MFR:0.9g/10分)
・アイオノマー3:
エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体(メタクリル酸由来の構成単位=15質量%)のマグネシウムアイオノマー(中和度:54%、MFR:0.7g/10分)
・アイオノマー4:
エチレン・メタクリル酸・アクリル酸イソブチル共重合体(メタクリル酸由来の構成単位=10質量%、アクリル酸イソブチル由来の構成単位=10質量%)の亜鉛アイオノマー(中和度:70%、MFR:1.0g/10分)
・アイオノマー5:
エチレン・メタクリル酸・アクリル酸イソブチル共重合体(メタクリル酸由来の構成単位=10質量%、アクリル酸イソブチル由来の構成単位=10質量%)のナトリウムアイオノマー(中和度:36%、MFR:1.0g/10分)
・ダイマー酸1:Dimer acid hydrogenated(ALDRICH社製、平均分子量Mn:~570、モノマー酸含有量:0.1質量%未満、トリマー酸含有量:0.1質量%未満、ヨウ素値:10未満、密度:0.95g/ml(25℃)、酸価(acid number):194~198mg KOH/g)
・ダイマー酸2:ツノダイム205(築野食品工業社製、モノマー酸含有量:10.0質量%、トリマー酸含有量:13.8質量%、粘度:6200mPa・s、酸価:191~197mgKOH/g)
・フタル酸ジイソノニル:ビニサイザー90(花王(株)製)
・セバシン酸ジオクチル:モノサイザーW280(大日本インキ化学工業(株)製)
用意したアイオノマー1~3のそれぞれに、下記表1に示す量となるように添加化合物を配合し、ラボプラストミル混練機(東洋精機社製 ツインスクリュー)にて、180℃、回転数50min-1で10分間混合した。
混合後、メルトフローレート(MFR)を測定し、流動性の指標とした。このとき、MFRは、JIS K7210-1999に準拠した方法により190℃、荷重2160gで測定した。測定結果は、下記表1に示す。
得られたプレスシートのサンプルを23℃、相対湿度50%の条件下で2週間放置した後、シート表面の状態を目視で観察し、下記の評価基準に従ってブリードアウトの発生の有無を評価した。評価結果は、下記表1に示す。
-評価基準-
A:ブリードアウトの発生がなく、プレスシートの表面は綺麗であった。
B:ブリードアウトの発生はほとんどなく、プレスシートの表面にもほとんど汚れはみられなかった。
C:ブリードアウトの発生によりプレスシートの表面に汚れがみられた。
上記サンプルとは別に、下記表1に記載の各混合物を加熱プレス(160℃)にてシート状にプレス成形して0.5mm厚のプレスシートのサンプルを作製し、各プレスシートのサンプルについて、JIS K7105-1981に準拠した方法により全光線透過率(%)を測定し、光学特性を評価した。測定結果は、下記表1に示す。
実験例1のアイオノマー1に代えてアイオノマー4又はアイオノマー5としたほかは、実験例1と同様に混合して混合物を得、評価を行なった。測定結果を下記表1に示す。

Claims (9)
- エチレン・α,β-不飽和カルボン酸共重合体のアイオノマーとダイマー酸とを含有するアイオノマー組成物。
- 前記アイオノマー及び前記ダイマー酸の合計量100質量部に対するダイマー酸の含有比率が1~50質量部である請求項1に記載のアイオノマー組成物。
- 前記アイオノマー及び前記ダイマー酸の合計量100質量部に対するダイマー酸の含有比率が1~30質量部である請求項1に記載のアイオノマー組成物。
- 前記α,β-不飽和カルボン酸が、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸の少なくとも一方である請求項1に記載のアイオノマー組成物。
- 前記エチレン・α,β-不飽和カルボン酸共重合体は、更に、α,β-不飽和カルボン酸エステルが共重合されたエチレン・α,β-不飽和カルボン酸・α,β-不飽和カルボン酸エステル共重合体である請求項1に記載のアイオノマー組成物。
- 前記α,β-不飽和カルボン酸エステルが、不飽和カルボン酸の炭素原子数1~8のアルキルエステルである請求項5に記載のアイオノマー組成物。
- 前記アイオノマーは、エチレン・(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体の亜鉛アイオノマー、エチレン・(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体のナトリウムアイオノマー、及びエチレン・(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体のマグネシウムアイオノマーから選ばれる少なくとも一種である請求項1に記載のアイオノマー組成物。
- 請求項1~請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のアイオノマー組成物を用いて成形された成形体。
- 請求項1~請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のアイオノマー組成物を溶融成形加工する成形体の製造方法。
