Abstract
Description
静電塗装機の塗装機本体に対して脱着可能な塗料カートリッジであって、塗料を充填した塗料収容室と、作動液を受け入れる作動液室とを有し、該作動液室に作動液を供給して該作動液室の容積を拡大させることによって前記塗料収容室の容積を縮小させて、これにより前記塗料収容室に充填した塗料を前記塗料カートリッジから押し出して前記塗装機本体に塗料を供給する塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法であって、
前記塗料収容室から塗料を取り出した使用済みの塗料カートリッジの前記塗料収容室に洗浄液を供給して、該塗料収容室の容積を拡大させると共に、該塗料収容室の容積拡大に伴って前記作動液室の作動液を前記塗料カートリッジから押し出す作動液押出工程と、
該作動液押出工程に続いて、前記塗料カートリッジの作動液室に作動液を供給して、該作動液室の容積を拡大させると共に、該作動液室の容積拡大に伴って前記塗料収容室の洗浄液を塗料カートリッジから洗浄液を押し出す洗浄液排出工程とを有する、塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法を提供することにより達成される。
静電塗装機の塗装機本体に対して脱着可能な塗料カートリッジに内蔵され、塗料を収容するための且つプラスチック成形品からなる塗料バッグの外側から作動液によって直接又は間接的に圧力を加えて前記塗料バッグを押し潰すことにより、該塗料バッグの塗料を前記塗料カートリッジから押し出して、前記塗装機本体に塗料を供給する塗料カートリッジのための塗料バッグであって、
拡張及び収縮可能な可撓性のバッグ本体と、
該バッグ本体の上端に形成され、洗浄液の供給を受ける上端口部と、
前記バッグ本体の下端に形成され、洗浄液を排出する下端口部とを有することを特徴とする塗料バッグを提供することにより達成される。
(2)第2逆止弁32(カートリッジ内作動液供給通路)は強制開放。
(1)第1逆止弁30(塗料)の強制開放は解除(通常の逆止弁の機能);
(2)第2逆止弁32(作動液供給)の強制開放は解除(通常の逆止弁の機能);
(3)第5逆止弁72(塗装機本体内の洗浄液)は洗浄ノズル84によって強制開放;
(4)トリガバルブ46は開弁;
(5)ベルカップ4は回転。
(1)第1逆止弁30(塗料)の強制開放は解除(通常の逆止弁の機能);
(2)第2逆止弁32(作動液供給)の強制開放は解除(通常の逆止弁の機能);
(3)第3逆止弁34(洗浄液供給)は強制開放;
(4)第4逆止弁36(作動液排出)は強制開放。
第1工程(塗料バッグの拡張工程):第3内部通路(洗浄液供給通路)24を通じて塗料バッグ12にエアを供給して塗料バッグ12を拡張させて、塗料バッグ12の内部容積を略最大値まで拡大させる。これにより、塗料バッグ12の本体12aを皺の無い状態にすることができる。第1逆止弁30(塗料)は閉じ状態にある。
第2工程(洗浄液供給工程):洗浄液を塗料バッグ12に供給して塗料バッグ12の内面に沿って洗浄液を流して、塗料バッグ12を洗浄する。第1逆止弁30(塗料)は閉じ状態にある。
第3工程(塗料バッグの押し潰し工程):塗料バッグ12を押し潰して、塗料バッグ12の内部容積を縮小させて塗料バッグ12の洗浄液を排出させる。
必要に応じて、第2、第3の工程を繰り返す。
(1)第1逆止弁30(塗料)は強制開放;
(2)第2逆止弁32(作動液供給)は強制開放;
(3)第3逆止弁34(洗浄液供給)の強制開放は解除(通常の逆止弁の機能);
(4)第4逆止弁36(作動液排出)の強制開放は解除(通常の逆止弁の機能)。
(1)第1逆止弁30(塗料)は強制開放;
(2)第4逆止弁36(作動液排出)は強制開放。
(1)塗料カートリッジ10に内蔵した第1~第4の逆止弁30~36はエア駆動式の開閉弁で構成してもよい。
(2)上記の実施例では、塗料バッグ12は上下の口部12b、12cを備えているが、上端口部12bを省いて、下端口部12cだけを備えた塗料バッグであってもよい(図13)。図13に示す参照符号896は通路切替えバルブを示す。図13において、塗料バッグ12に通じる塗料カートリッジ内通路や、密閉空間14(作動液室)に通じる塗料カートリッジ内通路に介装した逆止弁30~36は図示を省略してある。
(7)バッグ洗浄ステーション88に回転テーブル894を用意し(図13、図15)、この回転テーブル894に塗料カートリッジ10を固定して、洗浄中の塗料カートリッジ10を回転させるようにしてもよい。図中、参照符号Oは回転中心軸を示す。この回転は、一方向の回転であってよいが、好ましくは、正方向の回転と逆方向の回転を交互に繰り返すのがよい。

Claims (11)
- 静電塗装機の塗装機本体に対して脱着可能な塗料カートリッジであって、塗料を充填した塗料収容室と、作動液を受け入れる作動液室とを有し、該作動液室に作動液を供給して該作動液室の容積を拡大させることによって前記塗料収容室の容積を縮小させて、これにより前記塗料収容室に充填した塗料を前記塗料カートリッジから押し出して前記塗装機本体に塗料を供給する塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法であって、
前記塗料収容室から塗料を取り出した使用済みの塗料カートリッジの前記塗料収容室に洗浄液を供給して、該塗料収容室の容積を拡大させると共に、該塗料収容室の容積拡大に伴って前記作動液室の作動液を前記塗料カートリッジから押し出す作動液押出工程と、
該作動液押出工程に続いて、前記塗料カートリッジの作動液室に作動液を供給して、該作動液室の容積を拡大させると共に、該作動液室の容積拡大に伴って前記塗料収容室の洗浄液を塗料カートリッジから押し出す洗浄液排出工程とを有する、塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法。 - 前記作動液押出工程と、これに続く前記洗浄液排出工程を一組として、これを複数回反復する、請求項1に記載の塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法。
- 前記塗料カートリッジがピストン式の塗料カートリッジであり、
前記塗料収容室と前記作動液室とがピストンによって画成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法。 - 前記塗料カートリッジがバッグ式の塗料カートリッジであり、
前記塗料収容室が、塗料を収容する塗料バッグによって形成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法。 - 前記作動液室が、作動液の供給を受けて拡張する作動液バッグによって形成されている、請求項4に記載の塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法。
- 前記作動液室が、前記塗料カートリッジの前記塗料バッグを収容した密閉空間で構成されている、請求項4に記載の塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法。
- 前記塗料バッグがプラスチック成形品であり、
該塗料バッグがシームレスな内面且つ滑らかな内面を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法。 - 前記塗料バッグが、
拡張及び収縮可能な可撓性のバッグ本体と、
該バッグ本体の上端に形成され、洗浄液の供給を受ける上端口部と、
前記バッグ本体の下端に形成され、洗浄液を排出する下端口部とを有する、請求項7に記載の塗料カートリッジの洗浄方法。 - 静電塗装機の塗装機本体に対して脱着可能な塗料カートリッジに内蔵され、塗料を収容するための且つプラスチック成形品からなる塗料バッグの外側から作動液によって直接又は間接的に圧力を加えて前記塗料バッグを押し潰すことにより、該塗料バッグの塗料を前記塗料カートリッジから押し出して、前記塗装機本体に塗料を供給する塗料カートリッジのための塗料バッグであって、
拡張及び収縮可能な可撓性のバッグ本体と、
該バッグ本体の上端に形成され、洗浄液の供給を受ける上端口部と、
前記バッグ本体の下端に形成され、洗浄液を排出する下端口部とを有することを特徴とする塗料カートリッジ用の塗料バッグ。 - 前記塗料バッグ本体がシームレスな且つ滑らかな内面を有する、請求項9に記載の塗料カートリッジ用の塗料バッグ。
- 前記バッグ本体と前記上端口部及び前記下端口部との間のコーナ部分が滑らかに湾曲した形状に形作られている、請求項10に記載の塗料カートリッジ用の塗料バッグ。
