下記仕様の頭皮洗浄用ブラシを使用し下記の内容で実際に洗髪を行い、官能評価による当該頭皮洗浄用ブラシの評価を行った。
1.底盤
図35に示す底盤を使用した。図35は底盤40の斜視図である。底盤40の最大長径は80.8mm、最大短径は60.8mmである。その比較例1を図36に、比較例2を図37に、比較例3を図38に、それぞれ示す。
図39に示す突起を使用した。図39は底盤40から突出するへら状突起41の側面図、平面図及び断面図である。当該突起の根元部(高さ4.5mm)の横断面は円形に形成されており、該根元部側から中途部側にかけて横断面円形から扁平な横断面形状(長円形状)になるように形成されている。なお、図3及び図5と同様に本実施例においても、各列の内側に位置するへら状突起41の各先端突起の先端の高さA(ブラシ面より17mm)よりも外側に位置するへら状突起41の各先端突起の先端の高さA(ブラシ面より21mm)の方が高くなるように配設してある。図49は本実施例1の底盤40の平面図であり、へら状突起41の各先端突起の先端の高さAの最も低い突起(図49のMIN)と最も高い突起(図49のMAX)の配置を示している。その他のへら状突起41の各先端突起の先端の高さAは、各先端の位置を円弧線上に配置されるように、前記MIN値(ブラシ面より17mm)とMAX値(ブラシ面より21mm)の中間値を適宜採用している。
図43に示す円錐形状突起を使用した。図43は皮脂掻き出し用の突起45の正面図、平面図及び断面図である。ブラシ面から当該突起先端までの高さCは、19.7mm、17.6mmの2種類のものを使用した。図50は底盤40の平面図であり、2種類の高さの当該突起の配置を示している。
図44に示す円錐形状突起を使用した。図44はマッサージ用の突起46の正面図、平面図及び断面図である。ブラシ面から当該突起先端までの高さは18.2mmのものを使用した。図51は底盤の平面図であり、当該突起の配置を示している。

最高点を「10点:動かしやすい」、最低点「1点:動かしにくい」として、10段階評価を行なった。
最高点を「10点:頭皮へ突起が充分に届いている感じがする」、最低点「1点:頭皮へ突起が殆ど届いていない感じがする」として、10段階評価を行なった。
最高点を「10点:毛穴まできれいに洗うことができた感じがする。」、最低点「1点:きれいに洗うことができた感じが、全くしない」として、10段階評価を行なった。
最高点を「10点:頭皮の血行が良くなった感じがする。」、最低点「1点:マッサージした感じが、全くしない」として、10段階評価を行なった。
最高点を「10点:心地良い感じがして好きである。」、最低点「1点:突起が痛い又は硬い感じがして不愉快である」として、10段階評価を行なった。
最高点を「10点:絡まりが全く無かった。」、最低点「1点:絡まりがひどく、洗髪が困難であった。
図61に示すように、本実施例1で使用した頭皮洗浄用ブラシ10の平均評価は9.1点(10点満点)となった。
図36の底盤、図40の洗浄用の突起以外は実施例1と同様の頭皮洗浄用ブラシを使用し、評価を行なった。なお底盤の材質及び最大長径、最大短径は実施例1と同じである。
図61に示すように、本比較例1で使用した頭皮洗浄用ブラシの平均評価は6.9点(10点満点)となった。
図37の底盤、図41の洗浄用の突起、図45の皮脂掻き出し用の突起及び図46のマッサージ用の突起以外は実施例1と同様の頭皮洗浄用ブラシを使用し、評価を行なった。なお、底盤の材質及び最大長径、最大短径は実施例1と同じである。
図61に示すように、本比較例2で使用した頭皮洗浄用ブラシの平均評価は4.3点(10点満点)となった。
図38の底盤、図42の洗浄用突起、図47の皮脂掻き出し用の突起及び図48のマッサージ用の突起以外は実施例1と同様の頭皮洗浄用ブラシを使用し、評価を行なった。なお底盤の材質及び最大長径、最大短径は実施例1と同じである。
図61に示すように、本比較例3で使用した頭皮洗浄用ブラシの平均評価は6.5点(10点満点)となった。
