Can be effectively prevented.
- the locked portion is inserted and locked inside the peripheral wall portion, and the decorative member is attached to the peripheral wall portion, so that the contact portion of the restricting portion of the light guide member contacts the peripheral wall portion from the front end side.
- the ring-shaped portion of the decorative member comes into contact with the restricting portion from the distal end side, thereby restricting movement of the light guide member with respect to the knob main body along the extending direction. That is, by restraining the light guide member using the decorative member, relative movement of the knob body and the light guide member along the extending direction of the fixing concave portion is prevented, thereby stabilizing the light guide member on the knob body. Held in a state.
- the operator since the light emitting surface of the light guide member is exposed to the outside at the tip side of the peripheral wall portion of the knob body protruding from the front surface of the knob when the rotary knob is disposed on the panel, the operator holds the peripheral wall portion. Even when the rotary knob is rotated, the light emitting surface is not hidden by a finger. As a result, the operator can continue to visually recognize the position of the light emitting surface when rotating the rotary knob.
- the rotary knob holds the light guide member stably in a state where the internal space is sufficiently secured.
- sufficient display can be performed when the light emitting surface is exposed on the tip side of the peripheral wall portion.
- the light guide member is formed of a translucent member, and the light emitting surface has lower transparency than the incident surface.
- the position of the light emitting surface can be easily visually recognized even when the light emitting surface is not emitting light. That is, when the transparency of the light emitting surface is high, the color of the surrounding members can be easily seen through the light emitting surface when no light is emitted, so that the light emitting surface can easily be seen as the color of the surrounding members. It becomes difficult to identify the member. On the other hand, if the transparency of the light emitting surface is low, it is difficult to see the color of the surrounding members through the light emitting surface, so the light emitting surface is difficult to see the same color as the surrounding members, so that even if the light emitting surface does not emit light Identification with the surrounding members is facilitated.
- the decorative member has a support portion at a position facing the tip side of the light guide member of the light guide member in the locked portion, and the support portion is A portion extending from the locked portion toward the outer side in the radial direction of the peripheral wall portion, and having the decorative member attached to the peripheral wall portion, a portion on the tip side of the light guide portion of the light guide member is used as the peripheral wall portion. It is preferable to have a tip that abuts against the radially inner surface of the peripheral wall portion at the tip side portion so as to be pressed.
- the radial movement is prevented in the light guide portion of the light guide member and the distal end portion of the light guide portion, so that the light guide member is more stably held by the knob body. . That is, the radial movement of the light guide member is more effectively prevented by preventing the movement in the radial direction at positions away from each other in the extending direction of the fixing recess.
- the rotary knob according to the present invention is useful for a rotary knob that is rotatably arranged on an operation panel or the like in the vehicle interior, and is decorated by inserting a part of the decorative member into the knob body. Even if the member is attached to the knob body, it is suitable for ensuring sufficient internal space in the rotary knob and stabilizing the light guide member and providing sufficient display after the light guide member is attached to the knob body.
