図1乃至図4において、イヤホンは、主要な構成部分として、ハウジング2、筐体1、これらハウジング2と筐体1を一体に連結する連結路5、放音管3、イヤーピース4を有してなる。ハウジング2は、もともと中空状に形成されていてこの中空の内部に図示しないドライバーユニットが収納されている。ハウジング2は、椀状に形成されている背面2-2と、平面形状が円形に形成されている正面2-1を有している。筐体1は、ハウジング2とは別の中空の部材で、両端面が塞がれた円筒状に形成されている。「中空」とは、内部空間に例えば前記低音補償用振動板のような可動部材が何も装着されていない「内部の空虚なこと」をいう。上記連結路5は、円筒状に形成されていて、ハウジング2の背面2-2と、筐体1の一端面を連結し、ハウジング2と筐体1の内部空間を連通している。
また、上記実施例にかかるイヤホンは、装着時に筐体1が使用者の耳介の外部に突出し、筐体1を大きくしても使用者の耳介に接触しにくい構成となっている。

Claims (10)
- ドライバーユニットと、
上記ドライバーユニットを収納し、放音面である正面と椀状に形成された背面を有するハウジングと、
上記ドライバーユニットの振動板の背面側の内部容積を増大させて上記ドライバーユニットの振動板の背圧を軽減するために上記ハウジングとは別に設けられた中空の筐体と、
上記ハウジングの背面と上記筐体を連結して上記ハウジングと筐体の内部空間を連通する連結路と、を備え、
上記ハウジングは、正面から突出して外耳道に挿入されるように形成された放音管を備えていることを特徴とするイヤホン。 - 使用態様において上記筐体が上記ハウジングの斜め上方に位置するように上記連結路が上記ハウジングの背面の傾斜面から斜め上方に向かって伸び出ている請求項1記載のイヤホン。
- ハウジングは、使用者の耳珠及び対珠と耳甲介によって形成される腔に適合して押圧されるように形成されている請求項1または2記載のイヤホン。
- ハウジングの椀状の背面は使用者の耳珠内側と対珠内側に接合する請求項1、2または3記載のイヤホン。
- ハウジングの正面は耳甲介に接合する請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のイヤホン。
- 筐体は、リードを外に出すリード引き出し部を有し、このリード引き出し部は使用者の珠間切痕に沿うように備えられている請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のイヤホン。
- 筐体の上記連結路側とは反対側の面は、意匠面となっていて、この意匠面は、使用態様における使用者の矢状面方向と平行になるように、上記筐体が上記連結路によって上記ハウジングに連結されている請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のイヤホン。
- 放音管にはイヤーピースが放音管に沿って前後に位置を調整可能に嵌合されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載のイヤホン。
- ハウジング、連結路、または筐体の少なくとも1つに、音響調節孔が設けられている請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載のイヤホン。
- 音響調節孔に音響抵抗材が貼付されている請求項9記載のイヤホン。
