- the content mediation server 5 analyzes the upload request (step S10). Specifically, various parameters (user ID, video content content data, video content metadata, server list L1 indicating the content providing server 2 to be uploaded, etc.) included in the upload request are extracted, and the video content data is stored. Is stored in the content data storage unit 506.
- the content mediation server 5 selects an arbitrary content providing server 2 from the server list L1 (step S20).
- the content mediation server 5 determines whether content conversion or content division is necessary when uploading the moving image content to the selected content providing server 2 (step S30). Specifically, the determination is made by comparing the original format and data capacity of the video content to be uploaded with the server data d20 of the selected content providing server 2 stored in the server data storage unit 508.
- step S30 When content conversion or content division is necessary (step S30: YES), the content mediation server 5 converts the content into a format corresponding to the upload destination content providing server 2, or the upload destination content providing server 2 The content is divided in accordance with the size limit of one content (step S40).
- the content mediation server 5 accesses the upload destination content providing server 2 according to the upload procedure of the server data d20 stored in the server data storage unit 508, and uploads the moving image content (step S50).
- user data d10 user ID and password for logging in to the upload destination content providing server
- moving image content metadata are used.
- step S30 If content conversion or content division is not performed (step S30: NO), the content data itself transmitted from the content registration device 3 is uploaded, and if content conversion or content division is performed (step S30). : YES), upload the format-converted content data or each divided content data.

Is found (step S120).
- the content mediation server 5 creates a search response based on the search result, and transmits the search response to the content reproduction device 4 that has transmitted the search request (step S130).
- the search response is information including content registration data d30 that holds the same URL as the search condition URL.
- the content reproduction device 4 creates a search request and transmits the created search request to the content mediation server 5 (step S210).
- the content reproduction device 4 receives a search response corresponding to the search request (step S220) and analyzes the received search response (step S230). Specifically, referring to the content registration data d30 included in the search response, the original format d32 and server information d33 of the moving image content are extracted.
- the content reproduction device 4 determines whether or not the reproducible content providing server 2 exists in the extracted server information d33 (step S240). Specifically, the content reproduction apparatus 4 refers to the format of the server information d33 included in the search response and determines whether there is a format that can be reproduced by the own apparatus. If there is a format that can be played back by the own device, it is determined that the playable content providing server 2 exists.
- step S240 If the reproducible content providing server 2 exists (step S240: YES), the content reproduction device 4 creates the server list L2 (step 250).
- step S240 when the reproducible content providing server 2 does not exist (step S240: NO), the content reproduction device 4 displays a message indicating that reproduction is not possible (step 370) and ends the process.
- the content reproduction device 4 determines whether or not the network environment data d40 of each content providing server 2 included in the server list L2 has been measured recently (for example, within one week) (step S260). .
- the content reproduction device 4 measures the network environment and stores the measured network environment data d40 in the network environment data storage unit 406. (Step S270).
- the content reproduction device 4 sorts the content providing servers 2 included in the server list L2 in the order of reproduction priority (step S280).
- the playback priority order in the present embodiment is large, and the server information d33 is format-converted from the original format with the group of content providing servers 2 having the moving image content in the original format (referred to as the first group). It is classified into a group (referred to as a second group) of the content providing server 2 having moving image content, and refers to a priority order in which the priority order of the first group is set to be higher than the priority order of the second group.
- the content providing server 2 of the server information d33 having the same format as the original format d32 included in the search response is set as the first group, and the content providing server 2 of the server information d33 having a different format is set as the second group. .
- the content reproduction device 4 rearranges the content providing servers 2 included in the first group from the viewpoint of the network environment (step S290). Specifically, the content providing servers 2 included in the first group are rearranged so that the content providing server 2 that is easy to access the content reproducing device 4 and is suitable for content reproduction is ranked higher.
- the content providing servers 2 included in the first group are rearranged so that the content providing server 2 with a small RTT is prioritized.
- the rearrangement considering the network environment is not limited to this method.
- the network environment data d40 may be rearranged with reference to the number of hops.
- the content reproduction device 4 rearranges the content providing servers 2 included in the second group from the viewpoint of image quality and network environment (step S300). Specifically, the content providing server 2 having a format with a resolution close to the original format, the content providing server 2 having a good image quality of the format, and the content reproducing device 4 are easily accessible, and the content providing server 2 suitable for content reproduction is ranked higher. Thus, the content providing servers 2 included in the second group are rearranged. Specifically, the priority is determined by weighting the above three elements.
- the content reproduction device 4 selects the content providing server 2 of the top server information (server information with the highest priority) d33 in the server list L2 (step S310).
- the content reproduction device 4 accesses the selected content providing server 2 according to the URL of the server information d33, and can acquire the moving image content from the accessed content providing server 2 whether or not the content providing server 2 is accessible. Whether or not (step S320).
- the content reproduction device 4 acquires the moving image content (step S330) and reproduces the acquired moving image content (step S340).
- the content reproduction device 4 deletes the top content providing server 2 in the server list L2 (step S350), and the server list L2 It is determined whether there is another content providing server 2 (step S360).
- step S360 If there is another content providing server 2 in the server list L2 (step S360: YES), the process returns to step S320, and the content reproduction device 4 selects the top content providing server 2 in the server list L2.
- step S360 If there is no other content providing server 2 in the server list L2 (step S360: NO), the content reproduction device 4 displays a message indicating that reproduction is not possible on the screen (step S370).
- the content reproduction system 1 by using the content mediation server 5, it is possible to simultaneously upload video content to a plurality of content providing servers 2 by a single operation. Therefore, it is possible to save the user's trouble of registering the moving image content and to increase the degree of disclosure (exposure degree) of the moving image content.
- the content mediation server 5 holds the content registration data d30, so that information on the access destination and format of the video content is uploaded for each uploaded content providing server 2. While managing, the same moving image content when uploading to a plurality of content providing servers 2 is associated and managed. As a result, the content providing server 2 that holds the same video content as the video content that the user wants to view and the content providing server 2 that holds the video content in a format that can be played back by the content playback device 4 are easily searched. be able to. That is, it becomes possible to search for video content across a plurality of video sharing sites, and it becomes easy to identify video content across a plurality of video sharing sites.
- the content playback device 4 performs format conversion when there are a plurality of content providing servers 2 that hold video content in a format that can be played back by the device itself. Since the content providing server 2 is prioritized based on the presence / absence, image quality, communication environment, etc., it is possible to select the content providing server 2 that is optimal for reproduction, and to reproduce moving image content with higher image quality.
- the moving image content can be acquired from the alternative content providing server 2, Can be played.
- the content playback device 4 creates the server list L2 and ranks the playable content providing servers 2, but the content mediation server 5 creates the server list L2 and can play back the server list L2. You may make it perform the reproduction
- the content mediation server 5 may select the optimum content providing server 2 and notify the content reproducing device 4 that has transmitted the search request of information related to the selected content providing server 2. In this case, the processing load on the content reproduction device 4 can be reduced.
- the search request includes information related to a format that can be reproduced by the content reproduction device 4, and the content reproduction device 4 holds the network environment data d40.
- RTT and the number of hops measured in the past are used as the network environment data d40.
- communication data communication speed, etc.
- the processed value may be used.
- the content registration data d40 described above can be used for other purposes. For example, in the case where the same moving image content overlapping across a plurality of moving image sharing sites is found, it can be easily found by using the content registration data d40.
