Definitions
- the present invention relates to an ion and ozone optimized saturation method of indoor air, and more particularly, it is applied to an injection ventilation system to inject and ventilate active oxygen (oxygen ion and ozone) supplied with purified air to a room for human activity.
- the aim is to provide an optimized method for saturating ions and ozone in indoor air to ensure that the system supplies the concentration recommended by the internationally accepted hygiene standards.
- the disadvantage of the above method is that it is not possible to autonomously control and control the oxygen ions and ozone emission, and in principle, it is impossible to obtain the positive and negative ions of oxygen ions meeting the hygiene standards.
- the positive and negative ions cannot be obtained because one pole DC voltage is set on the electrodes of the rotor, and the DC voltage rotates in one direction due to the flow of charge from the edge of the blade. Is essential.
- Air ionization and ozonation methods performed by air ionizers are well known, whereby a voltage sufficient to cause a corona discharge is supplied to the electrode, resulting in the generation of ions and ozone.
- the release of ions and ozone into the room from the device realizing this method is due to the 'ion wind' generated by the movement of charged ions in the corona discharge forming region and the convection generated by the heated elements in the device.
- Another disadvantage is that due to the severe drop in pressure formed when using air ions and convective mechanisms, the devices in which the method is used cannot be applied with mechanical aerosol purification systems that provide a high level of air purification.
- Another method of ionizing and ozonating air which is realized by another air ozonation device, is well known, whereby a voltage sufficient to cause a corona discharge is supplied to the electrodes, resulting in the generation of ions and ozone.
- the device implementing the method is forced to supply air, whereby the device can be combined with a high quality air purification system.
- the disadvantage of this method is that there is no system to control the strength of ozone generated, which can raise the limiting allowable ozone concentration in indoor air as defined by the hygiene standards.
- direct current voltage is supplied to the electrodes in the chamber where ionization and discharge occur. In the presence of direct current voltage, it is very difficult to produce two polar ions at the air ionization limit recommended by the hygiene standards, and the concentration control of the concentration is also difficult. In principle impossible, the field of application of the device for implementing the method is extremely limited.
- the saturation method of ionic and ozone optimization of indoor air proposed by the present invention is to provide a new method that can solve all the problems of the known methods as described above.
- the present invention is to provide a method for saturating ions and ozone of indoor air, in particular, by which the ozone and the amount of the concentration specified by the hygiene standard and the cathode oxygen ions can be equally distributed to the indoor air which has been contaminated.
- the voltage serial pulses of one polarity of the positive and negative poles are supplied to the discharge ionizing electrodes, the voltage serial pulses of the different polarities are sequentially supplied with a pause longer than the mutual recombination time of the negative and positive ions.
- the concentration of the negative and positive ion change the repetition rate of the voltage pulse in the serial pulse and the duration and the rest period of the negative and positive serial pulses, respectively.
- a voltage amplitude and voltage pulse sufficient for the corona discharge of capacity type between the electrodes with the voltage pulse supplied to the discharge ionizing electrode or at rest between serial pulses of different polarity are determined according to the mode signal applied to the microcontroller. It is supplied to the anode, characterized in that to change the duration of the voltage supply supplied to the ozone electrode to control the ozone concentration.
- the saturation method of ionic and ozone optimization of indoor air according to the present invention is applied to an intake ventilation system, and hygiene standards are supplied according to the intake ventilation system by supplying active oxygen (oxygen ion and ozone) supplied with purified air to the room for human activity. It can be supplied at the recommended concentration. And it is possible to optimize the concentration of anode and cathode ions according to the cross-sectional volume structure of the room.
- active oxygen oxygen ion and ozone
- FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing an embodiment of a device implemented by the method for optimizing ions and ozone of indoor air provided by the present invention
- FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing a controller system used in the present invention.
- the discharge ionization electrode and the ozonation electrode are pre-purified by aerosols and other contaminants and placed inside an air stream that is forcibly formed by the injection ventilation system, and the electrode is supplied with a voltage sufficient to generate a corona discharge.
- a novel aspect of the present invention is that a voltage serial pulse of one polarity is supplied to the discharge ionizing electrode, and a serial pulse of all polarities and a different polarity voltage is sequentially supplied after having a pause longer than the mutual recombination time of the cathode and anode ions. Ion concentrations of different polarities are adjusted by changing the repetition rate of the voltage pulses in the serial pulse, the serial pulse duration of each polarity, and the duration of the resting period. As shown in FIG. 2, when a mode signal is applied to a separate microcontroller 3 through a mode switch, control is performed according to the input mode signal. The time and the idle time can be freely manipulated, and the mode can be preset to 16, as shown in Table 1 below.
- the discharge ionizing electrode is supplied with voltage pulses of sufficient amplitude to generate a capacity-type corona discharge between the electrodes at the same time as the voltage pulses supplied or with a pause between the serial pulses of different poles.
- the concentration control is made by changing the duration of voltage supply to the ozonation electrode.
- the discharge ionization electrode and the ozonation electrode are placed at the outlet of the injection ventilation system for supplying the purified air to the room, and a voltage is supplied to the discharge ionization electrode and the ozonation electrode with a delay time when the injection ventilation system is turned on.
- the uniformity of distribution of oxygen ions of two polarities in the indoor space is that the discharge ionization electrode is first supplied with a voltage serial pulse of one polarity, then has a pause longer than the mutual recombination time of the cathode and anode ions, It is secured by supplying a pulse.
- ions prevent mutual recombination in the immediate vicinity of the exit window of the inlet ventilation system, minimizing the death of ions of different polarities and distributing ions of both + and-with air currents in all places of the room. have.
- Hygiene standards set by the amount having a concentration of 1,000ion / m 3 level, to fill the negative oxygen ions in the room air resting between the duration of different polarities of the serial pulse of the serial pulse repetition rate, each of the polarity of the voltage pulses in the serial pulse By changing the duration, the ion concentrations of different polarities can be controlled.
- the supply of ozone to indoor air at a concentration set by the hygiene standard (the average ozone limit concentration in the room should not exceed 0.03 ⁇ g / l) is a method of changing the duration of voltage supply to the ozonation electrode. By adjusting it.
- the filling of the pre-contaminated indoor air with ions and ozone is performed by having a delay time for turning on the injection ventilation system when supplying voltage to the discharge ionizing electrode and the ozonizing electrode.
- This delay is essential first of all if contaminants are present in the air in the room filled with ions and ozone. This delay allows the free radicals to be delivered to the clean air where the precontaminated air is removed.
- FIG. 1 shows an apparatus for implementing the method, in which an inlet grating 1 is installed on one side of a main body 9 made of a tunnel type.
- a metal grating 2 for discharge is installed on the opposite side, and a controller 3 and a high voltage power supply 4 are connected inside the main body 9, and discharge ionization is performed in the high voltage power supply 4.
- Electrodes 5 and 6 and ozonation electrodes 7 and 8 are electrically connected to each other.
- the body 9 is installed in the ventilation channel 10 of the injection ventilation system in which the air grill 11 is installed.
- the airflow in which the pollutant is purified in advance is supplied to the room through the air grill 11 along the ventilation channel 10.
- the purified air pushes away the polluted air in the room.
- the time for replacing contaminated air with purified air is linked to the productivity and room volume of the inlet ventilation system.
- An indoor air purge signal indicating that the device may be turned on, is applied to the controller 3 from an air quality inspection sensor in the room or from a timer controlling the injection ventilation system operating time. Sensors and timers that control the quality of the indoor air are not shown in the components or diagrams of devices that perform the method of the present invention.
- one of the preset modes is selected according to the mode signal applied to the controller 3 so that one pole of voltage pulses from the high voltage power supply 4 to the discharge ionizing electrodes 5 and 6 are obtained.
- the voltage is supplied in the form. For example, a cathode voltage pulse of sufficient amplitude is supplied inside the air stream to cause its own corona discharge conditions.
- voltage pulses of one polarity are supplied to the discharge ionization electrodes 5 and 6, and ion clusters of corresponding polarities are formed around the discharge ionization electrodes 5 and 6, and the ion clusters are discharged metal by air flow. It is moved indoors through the grating 2 and the air grill 11.
- Ion concentration is controlled by changing the repetition rate of the pulses.
- the duration of the serial pulse of the corresponding polarity By adjusting the duration of the serial pulse of the corresponding polarity, the polar ions are introduced into the room air by a specified amount.
- the high voltage power supply After the duration of the negative serial pulse is over, the high voltage power supply has a voltage in the form of a negative voltage pulse, which is the opposite pole with sufficient amplitude to generate its own corona discharge in the air stream to saturate the room air with positive and negative ions. Is supplied to the discharge ionizing electrodes 5,6. By adjusting the duration of the anode serial pulse, a specified amount of anode ions are likewise introduced into the room air.
- a positive serial pulse is formed with a delay time and a pause, not immediately after the negative serial pulse.
- the duration of the rest period is chosen to be longer than the mutual recombination time of the cathode and anode ions, typically 1 to 10 seconds.
- the duration of the resting period is adjusted in a particularly decreasing direction and the mutual recombination effect is used to correct the proportion of ion concentrations of different polarities in the room air.
- the voltage from the high voltage power supply 4 supplies the voltage in the form of an alternating pulse to the ozonation electrodes 7, 8.
- Controlling the indoor ozone concentration to a level set by the hygiene standard is performed by changing the duration of voltage supply to the ozone electrodes 7, 8 during the rest period.
- the air indices were similar to the optimal natural ones and were found to be in full compliance with hygiene standards.
- Ion and ozone optimized saturation method of the indoor air of the present invention can be widely used in related industries.
