Definitions
- This invention relates to the manufacturing method of the absorbent article which has the 1st web which comprises a front waistline part, and the 2nd web which comprises a back waistline part.
- absorbent articles such as disposable diapers, a front waistline portion corresponding to the wearer's front waistline, a back waistline portion corresponding to the wearer's back waistline, a crotch portion corresponding to the wearer's inseam, And a leg-periphery opening that opens to the side of the crotch.
- the front waistline portion and the rear waistline portion are joined to each other from the upper edge portion (that is, the edge portion corresponding to the waist portion of the wearer) of the absorbent article into which the wearer's waistline is inserted to the leg periphery opening.
- the part joined to each other (hereinafter, joined part) is configured by a waist part including a waist gather, a leg part including a leg gather, and a fit part positioned between the waist gather and the leg gather.
- the first web and the second web are transported in a state in which the first web constituting the front waistline and the second web constituting the rear waistline are overlapped. And a step of joining predetermined regions of the first web and the second web corresponding to the joint portion provided at predetermined intervals.
- the ultrasonic bonding apparatus includes an anvil roll that supports a first web and a second web, and an ultrasonic mechanism that opposes the anvil roll and outputs ultrasonic vibrations to a predetermined region between the anvil roll.
- the ultrasonic mechanism includes an ultrasonic vibrator (oscillator) that oscillates ultrasonic vibration, an ultrasonic horn (vibrator) that outputs ultrasonic vibration generated by the ultrasonic vibrator to a predetermined region, and Is provided.
- the ultrasonic horn has an input surface for inputting ultrasonic vibration generated by the ultrasonic vibrator, and an output surface for outputting ultrasonic vibration input to the input surface to a predetermined region.
- the ultrasonic vibrator and the vibration unit are connected in the input central region including the center of the input surface corresponding to the output central region including the center of the output surface.
- the conventional techniques described above have the following problems. That is, since the ultrasonic transducer is connected to the ultrasonic horn in the input central region, the ultrasonic vibration input to the input surface from the ultrasonic transducer is output from the output central region corresponding to the input central region to the output center. Decreases toward the perimeter of the area. That is, the output of the ultrasonic vibration decreases toward the periphery of the output center region.
- the joining strength of the first web and the second web corresponding to the fit portion is the joining strength of the first web and the second web corresponding to the waist portion, and the first web and the second web corresponding to the leg portion. It becomes stronger than the bonding strength.
- the wearer attaches / detaches the absorbent article (at the time of attaching / detaching), the waist part and the leg part are easily peeled off, and the durability of the absorbent article is lowered.
- the waist part is easily peeled off, when the wearer wears the absorbent article (when worn), the absorbent article is difficult to fit into the wearer's waist part, while if the leg part is easy to peel off, it is worn at the time of wearing. Since the absorbent article is difficult to fit around the legs of the wearer, excrement from the wearer may leak from the absorbent article (so-called leakage resistance deteriorates).
- the predetermined region is strongly bonded as a whole (that is, the bonding strength is increased).
- the bonding strength of the entire predetermined area is increased, it becomes difficult for the wearer to tear the bonded portion when discarding the absorbent article (discarding) (so-called degradability is deteriorated).
- the absorbent article is required to have basic performances such as durability of the absorbent article at the time of attachment and detachment and improvement of leakage resistance at the time of wearing, while the wearer can select the absorbent article. Additional performance that is contrary to basic performance such as decomposability in the case of disposal (during disposal) is required.
- the present invention provides basic performance such as durability and leakage resistance of absorbent articles and additional performance such as decomposability when joining a predetermined region corresponding to the joint of the absorbent article using an ultrasonic bonding apparatus. It aims at providing the manufacturing method of the absorbent article which makes it difficult to peel off the waist part and leg part of an absorbent article, making it compatible.
- the present invention has the following features.
- first web 10A constituting a front waistline portion (front waistline portion 10) and a second web constituting a rear waistline portion (rear waistline portion 20)
- a method for manufacturing an absorbent article having a second web 20A which is an anvil part (projection 220) and a vibration part (ultrasonic horn 330) provided in an ultrasonic bonding apparatus (for example, ultrasonic bonding apparatus 100).
- an ultrasonic bonding apparatus for example, ultrasonic bonding apparatus 100.
- the ultrasonic vibration generated by the oscillating unit (ultrasonic transducer 310) provided in the ultrasonic bonding apparatus is applied to a predetermined region (predetermined region 60) of the web and the second web, and an output unit (output surface) of the oscillating unit. 332) And the step B for joining the predetermined region, and the output unit includes the central region (the central region 60C) in which the predetermined region is divided into three parts with respect to a crossing direction intersecting the transport direction.
- central output part that outputs ultrasonic vibrations and the predetermined area divided into three equal parts
- both ends of the central area on both sides in the crossing direction both end areas 60S
- a double-ended output section double-ended output section 332B that outputs sonic vibrations, and the central maximum amplitude of the ultrasonic vibration output from the central output section to the central area is from the double-ended output section to the both end areas.
- the center joint strength of the central region that is smaller than the maximum edge amplitude of the ultrasonic vibration that is output and is joined by the center output portion is the end joint strength of the both end regions that are joined by the both end output portions. And gist smaller than.
- the basic performance such as durability and leakage resistance of the absorbent article, and decomposability, etc.
- the manufacturing method of the absorbent article which makes it difficult to peel off the waist part and leg part of an absorbent article can be provided, making an additional performance compatible.
