Abstract

본 발명은 횡단면이 원형, 타원형 또는 다각형으로 상부보다 하부가 넓은 테이퍼 형상이며 탄소를 함유하는 펠렛으로 충전된 소성로, 펠렛 투입부, 배출부, 공기 조절부를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 수직형 자열 소성로에 관한 것이다. 그리고 본 발명은 상기 수직형 자열 소성로에 탄소를 함유하는 펠렛을 충전 시켜 예열한 후 상기 예열된 펠렛을 충전시킨 소성로의 내부에 탄소를 함유하는 펠렛을 연속적으로 투입하고, 상기 탄소를 함유하는 펠렛이 자열 소성되어 생성된 자열 소성체가 하부로 연속적으로 배출하는 단계를 포함하는 자열 소성체 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 소성로를 이용하여 소성체를 제조하는 방법은 추가적인 가열 없이 소성 시 생성되는 열만으로 펠렛을 자열 소성 할 수 있는 점에서 경제적인 이점이 있다.
