以下、本発明の第2の実施形態について説明する。第2の実施形態については、上述した第1の実施形態と異なる点を主に説明し、同様の点は、同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。特に説明しない点は、第1の実施形態についての説明が適宜適用される。図18は、第2の実施形態の回転ダイヤル部41の機能についての説明に供する図である。図19は、第2の実施形態の携帯電話機1の機能を示す機能ブロック図である。図20は、第2の実施形態の携帯電話機1の処理部70の具体的な動作(アプリケーションの競合を回避する動作)についての説明に供するフローチャートである。

Claims (20)
- アプリケーション実行部と、
入力操作部と外部操作部とを有する操作手段と、
前記操作手段による操作に伴う各種処理を制御する操作制御手段と、を備え、
前記操作制御手段は、前記アプリケーション実行部により所定のアプリケーションが実行されているときに、前記外部操作部の複数の設定位置に前記所定のアプリケーションに関する処理機能を割り当て、
前記アプリケーション実行部は、前記所定のアプリケーションが実行されているときに、前記入力操作部による入力が検出されると、前記外部操作部の所定の設定位置に割り当てられている処理機能を実行することを特徴とする携帯電子機器。 - 表示部を制御する表示制御部を備え、
前記表示制御部は、前記アプリケーション実行部により所定のアプリケーションが実行されているときに、前記外部操作部に割り当てられている処理機能に関する情報を前記表示部に表示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯電子機器。 - 前記外部操作部は、外面に前記所定のアプリケーションに対して割り当てられている処理機能に関する情報が表示されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯電子機器。
- 表示部を備え、
前記操作制御手段は、前記所定のアプリケーションの実行時に前記表示部に表示される画像に対する処理機能を前記外部操作部の前記設定位置に割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯電子機器。 - 通信部を備え、
前記操作制御手段は、前記所定のアプリケーションが実行され、所定の通信相手に関する情報が選択された場合、前記所定の通信相手に対して前記通信部により行われる通信処理に関する処理機能を前記外部操作部の前記設定位置に割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯電子機器。 - 前記操作制御手段は、文字入力に関するアプリケーションが実行されているとき、文字入力に関する処理機能を前記外部操作部の前記設定位置に割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯電子機器。
- 前記操作制御手段は、前記アプリケーション実行部により所定のアプリケーションが実行されているときに、保存されていないデータが取り扱われている場合、当該データの保存処理に関する処理機能を前記外部操作部の前記設定位置に割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯電子機器。
- 前記操作制御手段は、前記アプリケーション実行部により所定のアプリケーションが実行され、保存されているデータが取り扱われている場合、当該データの活用処理に関する処理機能を前記外部操作部の前記設定位置に割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯電子機器。
- 前記操作制御手段は、前記アプリケーション実行部により所定のアプリケーションが実行され、画像データが取り扱われている場合、当該画像データの画像編集処理に関する処理機能を前記外部操作部の前記設定位置に割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯電子機器。
- 筐体と、
前記筐体に所定の回転軸を中心に回転可能に取り付けられる回転ダイヤル部と、
前記回転ダイヤル部の回転を検出する回転量検出部と、
前記回転量検出部により検出された回転に基づいて、複数のアプリケーションのうち一のアプリケーションを決定して起動するアプリケーション起動処理部と、
前記アプリケーション起動処理部にて決定された一のアプリケーションが既に実行中か否かを判定するアプリケーション実行判定部と、を備え、
前記アプリケーション実行判定部において前記アプリケーション起動処理部で決定された前記一のアプリケーションが既に実行中であると判定された場合、前記アプリケーション起動処理部は、当該一のアプリケーションの起動を中止することを特徴とする携帯電子機器。 - 複数のアプリケーションが実行中のときに、前記アプリケーション実行判定部において前記アプリケーション起動処理部で決定された一のアプリケーションがバックグラウンドで既に実行中であると判定された場合、
前記アプリケーション起動処理部は、前記一の当該アプリケーションの起動を中止し、前記バックグラウンドで既に実行中の前記一のアプリケーションをフォアグラウンドで実行するように切り替え、フォアグラウンドで実行中の他のアプリケーションをバックグラウンドで実行するように切り替えることを特徴とする請求項10記載の携帯電子機器。 - 操作部と、
表示部と、
前記操作部の操作を検出する操作検出部と、
前記表示部に表示されるアプリケーションごとの表示画面の情報を記憶する記憶部と、
前記操作検出部により前記アプリケーションを選択するための第1の操作が検出された場合、前記記憶部を参照して前記アプリケーションの表示画面の情報を取得し、該取得した情報により前記表示画面を前記表示部に表示させるように制御する制御部とを備えることを特徴とする携帯電子機器。 - 前記操作検出部により前記第1の操作が検出された後に前記アプリケーションを実行させるための第2の操作が検出された場合、前記アプリケーションのうち前記表示画面の情報を除いて当該アプリケーションを起動させるように制御するアプリケーション制御部を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の携帯電子機器。
- 前記記憶部に記憶される前記アプリケーションの表示画面の情報は、前記アプリケーションが起動されるときに表示される起動画面の情報であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の携帯電子機器。
- 筐体と、
前記筐体に配置される表示部と、
前記筐体に配置され、所定の回転軸を中心に回転可能な回転ダイヤル部と、
前記回転ダイヤル部における回転量を検出する回転量検出部と、
前記表示部に表示されるアプリケーションごとの表示画面の情報を記憶する記憶部と、
前記回転量検出部により前記アプリケーションを選択するための第1の回転量を検出した場合、前記記憶部を参照してアプリケーションの表示画面の情報を取得し、取得した前記表示画面の情報を前記表示部に表示させるように制御する制御部とを備える携帯電子機器。 - 操作部と、
前記操作部の操作を検出する操作検出部と、
前記回転量検出部により前記第1の回転量が検出された後に前記操作検出部により前記アプリケーションを動作させるための第3の操作が検出された場合、前記アプリケーションのうち前記表示画面の情報を除いて当該アプリケーションを動作させるように制御するアプリケーション制御部を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の携帯電子機器。 - 前記第3の操作が検出されたときに前記記憶部に記憶される前記アプリケーションの表示画面の情報は、前記アプリケーションが起動されたときに最初に表示される起動画面の情報であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の携帯電子機器。
- 前記表示部に表示された前記表示画面の情報を一時的に記憶する表示画面情報記憶部と、
所定の処理を行う処理部とを更に備え、
前記アプリケーション制御部は、前記処理部による前記所定の処理に応じて新たなアプリケーションを動作させると共に、
前記制御部は、前記新たなアプリケーションの動作開始に応じて前記アプリケーションの表示画面の情報に替えて前記新たなアプリケーションの表示画面の情報を前記表示部に表示させると共に、前記アプリケーションの表示画面の情報を前記表示画面情報記憶部に記憶させることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の携帯電子機器。 - 前記アプリケーション制御部が、前記処理部による前記所定の処理の終了に応じて前記新たなアプリケーションを終了させると、
前記制御部は、前記表示画面情報記憶部を参照して前記アプリケーションの前記表示画面の情報を前記表示部に表示させることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の携帯電子機器。 - 前記アプリケーション制御部が前記新たなアプリケーションを動作させたときに、前記表示画面情報記憶部に記憶される前記アプリケーションの表示画面の情報は、前記新たなアプリケーションの表示画面が表示される直前に前記表示部に表示されていた前記アプリケーションの表示画面の情報であることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の携帯電子機器。
