Definitions
- the present invention relates to an electric toothbrush.
- Patent Documents 1 and 2 an electric toothbrush driven by electric power is known (see Patent Documents 1 and 2).
- the size is generally larger than that of an ordinary toothbrush. That is, it is configured such that a portion held by a hand becomes longer or thicker than an ordinary toothbrush. Therefore, compared with the case of a normal toothbrush, the distance from the part grasped with the hand at the time of tooth brushing becomes long. Therefore, when brushing teeth using an electric toothbrush, it is general that the area of motion of the arm during brushing of the entire tooth is wider than when brushing teeth with an ordinary toothbrush. In addition, it is necessary to firmly grip the body of the electric toothbrush when brushing teeth, as compared to a normal toothbrush.
- the electric toothbrush is larger than an ordinary toothbrush, so when brushing the back teeth, especially when polishing the cheek side of the back teeth, hold the torso firmly with the elbows raised high There is a need to brush the teeth in a state, and tend to become an unreasonable posture. In addition, there is also a problem that unpolished material tends to be generated. In particular, when the brush is applied to the back teeth, the tip of the brush and the surface where the teeth are lined up are not parallel, and the user feels that the brush is properly hitting the entire back teeth, In some cases, the brush is not properly applied, resulting in unpolished parts.
- An object of the present invention is to provide an electric toothbrush that can brush teeth with a reasonable posture and can reduce the amount of unpolished teeth.
- the present invention employs the following means in order to solve the above problems.
- the electric toothbrush of the present invention is A torso that can be held by hand when brushing teeth;
- an electric toothbrush comprising an intraoral insertion portion that is inserted into the oral cavity at the time of brushing and has a brush at its tip,
- the intraoral insertion portion is configured to incline toward the back side of the brush as it goes from the tip toward the body portion, and the tip portion ties a centroid having a cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the body portion. It is located in the vicinity of the extension line of the virtual line made by
- the intraoral insertion portion that is inserted into the oral cavity during brushing is configured to incline toward the back side of the brush as it goes from the tip toward the body portion, and the tip is
- the body portion is configured to be located in the vicinity of an extension line of an imaginary line formed by connecting centroids having a cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. Therefore, as compared with a general electric toothbrush configured so that the body portion and the intraoral insertion portion are straight, the movement region of the arm when brushing the back teeth, which are likely to be left unpolished, is narrowed. That is, in the case of the electric toothbrush of the present invention, when the back teeth are brushed, the movement region of the body portion is concentrated near the front front of the mouth.
- a connecting portion configured to incline toward the back side of the brush as it goes from the front end of the trunk portion toward the brush, and to connect the trunk portion and the intraoral insertion portion.
- An eccentric shaft provided inside the intraoral insertion portion; A motor for rotating the eccentric shaft; It is good to have.
- the motor may be provided inside the connecting portion.
- the rotation shaft of the motor and the eccentric shaft may be connected by a flexible rod.
- the length of the flexible rod can be shortened, and the transmission efficiency of the driving force can be increased.
- the eccentric shaft itself has flexibility.
- a display unit in which display information is changed is provided in a region including at least a part of the brush side surface in the connection unit.
- buttons for operating the operation of the electric toothbrush is provided in a region extending from the body part to the connection part, It is preferable that buttons for performing different operations are separately arranged in the body portion and the connection portion.
- buttons This makes it easier for the user to distinguish the buttons to be operated. For example, by arranging a button for turning on the power on the connection part side and a button for turning off the power on the body part side, the operation when turning the power on or off can be performed more easily.
