Definitions
- the present invention relates to a numerical control (hereinafter referred to as NC) method and apparatus for preventing a collision in advance, and in particular, checks for a collision (interference) between a tool and a workpiece, a tool and a jig, a machine and a peripheral device, and the like. This is related to speeding up and improving accuracy of the collision check.
- NC numerical control
- NC device calculates the virtual movement position in the next axis control cycle, calculates the distance necessary to decelerate and stop from the axis movement speed at that time, and checks the proximity between each part of the machine at that distance. Configured to do. (For example, see Patent Document 3)
- the normal NC device is a device other than the NC control axis, for example, tool change commanded by the M / T command from the machining program, turning of the turret tool post, taking in / out of the tailstock, etc.
- a command related to a controlled device (referred to as “auxiliary machine”) is processed by a programmable logic controller (hereinafter referred to as “PLC”) provided in the NC device or an equivalent function.
- PLC programmable logic controller
- the PLC also handles the status of devices such as door lock sensors and machine control panels.
- the state quantity of each device including each auxiliary machine and sensor is assigned to the signal for the PLC device. For example, when the operation is completed, the signal of a certain device is turned ON, and the NC device proceeds to the next processing. In this way, a device takes a handshake through a device (hereinafter referred to as “device device”).
- the generation of the preceding position command for checking the presence / absence of the collision is incorporated in the process for controlling the actual machine tool. If the process cannot proceed to the next process without waiting for the completion, there is a problem that the generation of the preceding position command must also be stopped.
- an NC controller that checks for the presence or absence of a collision based on 3D shape data, if it stops every time waiting for the state of the auxiliary machine, the time required for the collision check process is longer than the NC axis control process. The waiting time through the entire machining program is considerably increased.
- the collision check process constructs a virtual machine / virtual work in the computer, operates them in a simulation prior to the actual machine operation, and detects a collision. As long as a portion that does not require a shake is executed, a block of a machining program that has not yet been reached by the actual machine is executed. However, if the collision check process is preceded in this way, the following problem also occurs.
- the collision check process is executing the k-th (i ⁇ k) block.
- the collision check process detects a collision in this state, the actual machine is stopped before the j-th block is reached (j-th block in FIG. 12). Therefore, in the case of an NC device that has a function for performing a cutting simulation of a workpiece using shape data, the collision check process changes the shape of the workpiece to a shape already cut by a command that has not actually been machined yet. Therefore, after the machine stops, when the operator manually compares the NC axis or corrects the machining program and automatically operates again, the actual material does not match the shape, and collision detection is accurate. It becomes impossible to go to.
- the present invention was made to solve such problems. Even when the collision check function is activated and the machining program is operated, the collision check is performed accurately and the increase in machining time is suppressed as much as possible.
- An object of the present invention is to obtain an NC device capable of performing the above.
- a preceding check processing sequence is provided separately from a machine control processing sequence for actual machine control, and a collision possibility check is performed prior to actual machine control using this preceding check processing sequence.
- the state of the preceding check processing sequence is matched with the state of the machine control processing sequence between the time when the machine is stopped and the time when the operation is restarted.

- the response is delayed by the response time.
- the preceding check processing sequence calculates a preceding check feed speed based on a distance regarded as a collision and an interpolation cycle, and is described in the preceding check feed speed and the machining program.
- a feed speed ratio is calculated, and a feed speed for a preceding check is determined based on the calculated ratio.
- the preceding check processing sequence executes a device device signal simulation for a collision check
- a preset response time for each device is acquired, and each acquired device is The response time is adjusted based on the ratio of the feed speeds.
- the numerical control device of the present invention receives a check result from the machining program analysis unit, the feed speed control unit, the command generation unit, the programmable logic control unit, and the preceding check processing sequence, and when a collision is detected, It has a command output determination unit that stops the machine before reaching the detection position, a machine control processing sequence that performs actual machine control, a machining program analysis unit, a feed speed control unit, a command generation unit, a programmable logic control unit, A collision check is performed using the shape data, and a response signal of a device assigned to a device other than the NC control axis and a collision check processing unit that passes the check result to the command output determination unit of the machine control processing series is simulated.
- An actual machine by the machine control processing sequence having an apparatus device signal simulation unit Prior to the control, the preceding check processing series that checks the possibility of collision, the state of processing with the actual machine, a simulation using the shape data, and the monitor display unit that sequentially displays it on the screen, the machine A control state synchronization unit that adjusts the state of the preceding check processing sequence to the state of the machine control processing sequence from when the operation is stopped to when the operation is restarted.
- the numerical control device of the present invention is characterized in that the state is a current value.
- the state is a current value, a selected tool, a control mode, a coordinate system, a signal held in a device for programmable logic control, and material shape data. Is.
- the numerical control device of the present invention is characterized in that the preceding check processing sequence stops performing the collision possibility check while executing a specific instruction.
- the numerical control device of the present invention is characterized in that the specific command is a skip command.
- the device device signal simulation unit of the preceding check processing sequence executes the device device signal simulation for the collision check
- the response time for each preset device is acquired, The response is delayed by the acquired response time for each device.
- the preceding check processing sequence calculates a preceding check feed speed based on a distance regarded as a collision and an interpolation cycle, and is described in the preceding check feed speed and the machining program.

- the preceding check processing sequence is provided separately from the machine control processing sequence for actual machine control, and the state of the preceding check processing sequence is determined after the machine is stopped until the operation is restarted. Because it matches the state of the machine control processing sequence, the advance check processing can be performed without waiting for the response of the actual device, and the operator can interrupt the operation in the middle of the machining program, Even when the operation is interrupted, there is an effect that the collision check can be performed at the correct position from the resumption of the operation of the machining program.
- a collision check is not performed for a specific command set in advance such as tool measurement in which a tool and a tool measurement sensor that is a part of the machine are in contact with each other.
- a specific command set in advance such as tool measurement in which a tool and a tool measurement sensor that is a part of the machine are in contact with each other.
- the response is delayed by a preset response time for each device, so that the device seems to operate at the same timing as the actual machine. This has the effect of improving the accuracy of the collision check.
- the collision check in order to generate the check position necessary for the advance check process safely and at high speed, the ratio of the feed speed corresponding to the distance regarded as a collision to the actual machine feed speed is calculated. Therefore, the collision check can always precede the part where the actual machine is processing, and there is an effect that the machining time is not increased even if the collision check is performed.
- the preset response time for each device is adjusted based on the ratio of the feed speed. Since the movement of the NC axis and the response of the equipment are shortened at the same rate, the relative timing relationships of all machine parts including the signal generation timing and auxiliary equipment are the same as the actual machine, and the collision check is performed. However, there is an effect that the processing time is not increased and the accuracy of the collision check is improved.

- the machine control processing sequence 1 operates the machine after confirming that the preceding check processing sequence 2 always precedes the preset time, number of blocks, or distance.
- the advance check processing sequence 2 does not advance ahead by a preset advance amount, the feed speed is gradually reduced, and when the set advance amount is advanced, acceleration is performed so as to return to the original feed speed.
- the location of the machining program currently processed by the preceding check processing sequence 2 (block number N (i + 7) of the preceding check processing sequence 2 in FIG. 2) and the machining that the machine control processing sequence 1 is processing.
- the location of the program (the block number N (i + 3) of the machine control processing sequence 1 in FIG. 2) is different.
- the material shape data of the machine control processing sequence 1 is in the state shown in FIG. 3A, for example, and the material shape data of the preceding check processing sequence 2 is in the state shown in FIG. 3B, for example. That is, the material shape data used by the collision check unit 19 of the preceding check processing sequence 2 has a portion that has not been cut yet with the actual material, or the device device of the preceding check processing sequence 2 The operation completion signal has already been set, but the machine control side device device has not yet been operated and the operation completion signal has not been set. - the control state synchronization unit 21 executes a process of matching the state of the preceding check processing sequence 2 with the state of the machine control processing sequence 1 when the machining program automatic operation is canceled.
- the states here are shape data and control data.

The material shape data 18 of the processing sequence 2 is transferred and replaced. Similarly, the control data 8 in the machine control processing sequence 1 is transferred to the control data 17 in the preceding check processing sequence 2 and replaced.
- control state synchronization unit 21 may adjust these states when the machining program is started, the control data is adjusted when the machining program is started, and the material shape data is automatically operated by the machining program. You may make it match when is stopped.
- the NC unit has a function to measure the tool with the tool measurement sensor during automatic operation of the machining program and correct the wear, and in the case of a machine with two turning spindles, it can transfer materials between the turning spindles. As shown in FIG. 5 (A), these functions are provided with signals from devices such as a tool measurement sensor and a pressing sensor before reaching the command position described in the machining program. Sometimes a command (skip command) to stop the axis feed at that position is used.
- a method for matching the states of the preceding check processing sequence 2 and the machine control processing sequence 1 when executing such an instruction whose end position changes according to a signal from the device will be described below.
- the skip command how far the axis moves depends on the input timing of the signal from the device such as an actual sensor. Therefore, as shown in FIG.
- the collision check unit 19 executes the command without performing the collision check on all the shapes, and finishes executing this command (there is no signal from the device on the way)
- the preceding check processing sequence 2 is temporarily stopped at the position where the operation has been completed as described above.
- control state synchronization unit 21 matches the state of the preceding check processing sequence 2 with the state of the machine control processing sequence 1 as shown in FIG.
- the system 2 is resumed, and the machine control processing system 1 waits for the preceding check processing system 2 for a predetermined amount and performs processing.
- the preceding check processing sequence 2 for performing the collision check prior to the actual machine operation is provided separately from the machine control processing sequence 1 for performing the actual machine operation. Since the simulation can be performed so that the advance check can be performed without waiting for the response of the actual device, the collision check can always be performed ahead of the actual machine operation. Furthermore, since the state of the preceding check processing sequence 2 is matched with the state of the machine control processing sequence 1 at the start or end of operation of the machining program, the state of the preceding check processing sequence 2 and the state of the machine control processing sequence 1 are always set. Can be checked accurately.
- Example 1 in order to perform a very accurate collision check, the current value, the selected tool, the control mode, the coordinate system, a signal held in the device for programmable logic control, as the data of the preceding check processing series 2, And the material shape data are the same as the machine control processing sequence 1 data (current value, selected tool, control mode, coordinate system, signal held in the device for programmable logic control, and material shape data).
- the intended purpose can be achieved.
- FIG. 7 shows an NC apparatus according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
- the preceding check processing sequence 2 has an interpolation length per interpolation cycle before the operation start of the machining program.
- a feed speed ratio calculating unit 23 for obtaining a feed speed when the distance is regarded as a preset collision and calculating a ratio to the feed speed described in the machining program.
- the operation of the device device signal simulation unit 15 is also different from that of the first embodiment. In the following, processing different from that in the first embodiment will be described.
- the feed rate control unit 13 of the advance check processing sequence 2 multiplies the feed rate ratio for the advance check calculated by the feed rate ratio calculation unit 23 as described above by the feed rate described in the machining program. Determine the feed rate. As shown in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-326257, this method thins out the interpolation points that are excessive for the collision check so as not to exceed the distance regarded as a collision. It is a method that can be performed.
- the device device signal simulation unit 15 adjusts the signal response time of each device device according to the feed rate ratio for the advance check.
- the advance check feed speed is increased in the advance check processing sequence 2
- the command and interpolation type linear interpolation designation, circular interpolation designation, etc.
- the distance of movement of the shape data of the tool of the series 2 and the actual tool of the machine control processing series 1 is substantially the same. Since the moving time is obtained by dividing the moving distance by the feeding speed, if the feeding speed is multiplied by the ratio for the preceding check, the moving time is a value obtained by dividing the moving speed by the feeding speed ratio.
- N (i + 2) in FIG. 8 is a command block for the device and the other blocks (N (i), N (i + 1), N (i + 3)) are command blocks for the NC axis.
- the NC axis moving block is multiplied by the ratio for the preceding check to speed up the digestion of the NC axis movement block, and the digestion of the block to the equipment device (time to response) is the same. Speed up by ratio.
- the device device signal simulation unit 15 acquires the advance check feed rate ratio calculated by the speed ratio determination unit 23, and divides the response time of the signal corresponding to each device by the advance check feed rate. Obtain and adjust the response time of the device signal for the advance check.
- the response time of the device according to the feed speed ratio the relative position relationship between the NC axis and the auxiliary machine in the machine control processing sequence 1 is maintained in the preceding check processing sequence 2 as well.
- the device device signal simulation unit 15 simply performs a simulation to simulate the response signal of each device device by adjusting the response time of each device device, but is further connected to the device device as follows.
- a simulation may be performed during the movement together with the response signal of the auxiliary machine.
- the PLC For the movement control of the headstock of the auxiliary machine, the PLC only issues a command to move to position A, for example, to the control device of the tailstock, and for the actual movement control, the control device of the tailstock is in position A.
- a signal indicating the completion of the movement of the tailstock is input to the PLC, and the PLC notifies the control data in the NC device of the state.
- the NC device Since not only the tailstock but also the auxiliary machine generally undergoes such a processing procedure, the NC device cannot know the position of the auxiliary machine during the movement. Therefore, when the device device signal simulation unit 15 of the preceding check processing sequence 2 receives a command from the PLC of the preceding check processing sequence 2, the device device signal simulation of the auxiliary device corresponding to the command operates, Try to simulate the response signal. Therefore, not only the response signal indicating the state of operation / operation completion / stopping, but also calculates and transmits the position every moment based on the preset auxiliary machine shaft speed, etc., and the PLC compensates with the response signal. The position of the machine is stored in the control data, and the collision check unit gives the received position to the shape corresponding to the auxiliary machine out of the machine shape, and moves it with the shape controlled by the NC control axis to perform the collision check .
- the number of points to be checked by the preceding check processing sequence 2 is thinned out in a range that does not overlook a collision, so the time required for the collision check process using shape data that tends to increase the processing load. And the collision check can always be performed ahead of the actual machine operation.
- the numerical control method and the numerical control device of the present invention are suitable for use in a numerical control device that performs a collision check.
Abstract
