Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verbindungsmodul für die TeIekominunikations- und Datentechnik mit einem Modulgehäuse (4), in welchem zur Verbindung von Adern (5) einer Kabelseite mit Adern (6) einer Rangierseite Kontaktelemente (7) derart angeordnet sind, dass sich an zwei einander abgewandten Längsflächen (2a, 2b) des Modulgehäuses (4) erstreckende Klemmleisten (8a, 8b) gebildet sind. Um ein Verbindungsmodul (1) zur Verfügung zu haben, mit welchem bei eingeschränktem Platzangebot durch einen sicheren Beschaltungsvorgang eine höher Beschaltungsdichte erreicht wird, ist bei diesem Verbindungsmodul (1) erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass das Modulgehäuse (4) in einem Bereich seiner Längserstreckung wenigstens ein Führungsmittel (9, 13) aufweist, welches eine Mehrzahl von Adern (5, 6) zumindest einer der Seiten derart führt, dass die Adern (5, 6) beider Seiten an der gleichen Seitenfläche an die ihnen zugeordneten Klemmseiten (8a, 8b) geführt sind (vgl. Fig. 1).
