Definitions
- the present invention relates to a contactless charging device that charges an object to be charged by electromagnetic induction.
- a non-contact type charging device is often used as a charging device for charging an object to be charged such as a handset of a cordless telephone (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
- a conventional contactless charging apparatus includes an oscillation circuit connected to a commercial power source and a power transmission coil connected to the oscillation circuit. When the oscillation circuit applies an AC voltage to the power transmission coil, the power transmission coil generates an alternating magnetic field.
- an object to be charged includes a power receiving coil and a rechargeable battery. At the time of charging, the object to be charged is placed on the placement unit of the charging device. A power transmission coil is disposed on the mounting portion. When the object to be charged is placed on the placement portion, the power transmission coil and the power reception coil face each other. An alternating voltage based on electromagnetic induction is induced in the power receiving coil by the alternating magnetic field generated from the power transmitting coil. The AC voltage induced in the power receiving coil is rectified and charged to the rechargeable battery.
- Patent Document 1 describes a technique for vertically arranging the surfaces of the mounting portion where the power transmission coil and the power reception coil face each other. Yes. Although this technology can be expected to suppress abnormal temperature rise of the metal foreign object due to electromagnetic induction heating when the metal foreign object lies on the bottom surface of the mounting part, it is placed with the metal foreign object standing on the mounting part. In the case where a plurality of metal foreign objects are stacked, abnormal temperature rise of the metal foreign objects due to electromagnetic induction heating cannot be suppressed.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a contactless charging device that can suppress an abnormal temperature rise of a metal foreign object due to electromagnetic induction heating by including a member that suppresses the approach of the metal foreign object to the power transmission coil.
- the contactless charging device of the present invention is a contactless charging device that charges an object to be charged by electromagnetic induction, and includes an oscillation circuit, a power transmission coil, a plate member, a casing, and an urging member.
- the power transmission coil generates an alternating magnetic field by the AC voltage output from the oscillation circuit.
- the plate member is freely displaceable between a first position that is separated from the power transmission coil above the power transmission coil and a second position that allows the charged object to approach the power transmission coil. In position, at least the upper surface is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane.
- the casing is a casing that pivotally supports the plate member, and the downstream portion disposed on the downstream side of the plate member at the first position does not protrude upward from the plate member in the inclination direction of the plate member.
- the urging member urges the plate member from the second position toward the first position, and displaces the plate member to the second position by the weight of the charged body.
- the contactless charging device charges the object to be charged in a state where the plate member is in the second position.
- the plate member is disposed at the first position during non-charging, and the plate member is disposed at the second position by being pushed down against the urging force of the urging member due to the weight of the charged object during charging.
- the plate member is spaced apart from the power transmission coil above the power transmission coil at the first position.
- the upper surface of the plate member is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, so that even if the metal foreign object falls on the plate member, the metal foreign object moves from the plate member to the outside of the charging device. Slide down.
- the plate member may be configured to hold the object to be charged on the upper surface at the second position during charging and to be close to the power transmission coil.
- the object to be charged is placed on the plate member, and the plate member is displaced to the second position and close to the power transmission coil, so that an alternating magnetic field is generated from the power transmission coil to the target charge across the plate member.
- a to-be-charged body is charged. Since the plate member is disposed at the first position during non-charging, the plate member suppresses the approach of the metal foreign object to the power transmission coil and suppresses the abnormal temperature rise of the metal foreign object due to electromagnetic induction heating.
- the power receiving coil further includes a concave receiving portion having an opening that opens upward, the power transmission coil is disposed so as to face the bottom surface of the receiving portion from below, and the plate member has at least the opening at the first position. It may be configured to close a part and approach the bottom surface at the second position.
- the plate member At the time of non-charging, the plate member is disposed at the first position, and the plate member suppresses the intrusion of the metal foreign object into the receiving portion.
- the plate member is disposed at the second position, an alternating magnetic field is applied from the power transmission coil to the charge target on the plate member with the plate member interposed therebetween, and the charge target is charged. Therefore, the proximity of the metal foreign object to the power transmission coil is suppressed by the plate member during non-charging, and the abnormal temperature increase of the metal foreign object due to electromagnetic induction heating is suppressed.
- the upper surface of the plate member is disposed horizontally at the second position.
- the object to be charged is placed on the upper surface of the plate member. If the upper surface of the plate member is horizontally disposed at the second position, the degree of freedom in the direction in the horizontal plane on which the object to be charged is placed is improved.
- a holding member that holds the power transmission coil the holding member being displaceable between an upper position that is horizontally disposed and a lower position that is inclined with respect to a horizontal plane below the upper position;
- the holding member is displaced from the upper position to the lower position with the displacement from the position 2 to the first position, and the holding member is moved to the lower side with the displacement of the plate member from the first position to the second position.
- an interlocking mechanism for displacing from the position to the upper position At the time of non-charging, the plate member is arranged at the first position, the holding member is arranged at the lower position, and both the upper surface of the plate member and the holding member are inclined with respect to the horizontal plane.
- the metal foreign object falls on the plate member, it slides down from the plate member to the outside of the charging device, and the holding member is inclined even if it slips through the plate member and falls onto the holding member. Therefore, it slides down from the holding member.
- the approach to the power transmission coil of the metal foreign object is suppressed by the plate member and the holding member.
- the charged body is placed on the plate member, so that the plate member and the holding member face each other in a horizontal state, and an alternating magnetic field is generated from the power transmission coil to the charged body across the plate member. And a to-be-charged body is charged.
- a concave receiving portion having an opening portion opened upward is further provided, and the power transmission coil is disposed so as to face the bottom surface of the receiving portion from below, and the plate member has a base end portion opposed to each other of the opening portion.
- Two lid members that are pivotally supported by the edge portion, and at the first position, each of the distal end portions of the lid member is in contact with each other above the respective base end portions to form a mountain shape. It may be. Even when a metal foreign object falls on the plate member during non-charging, the metal foreign object slides down from the mountain-shaped plate member to the outside of the charging device. Therefore, the proximity of the metal foreign object to the power transmission coil is suppressed by the plate member during non-charging, and the abnormal temperature increase of the metal foreign object due to electromagnetic induction heating is suppressed.
- the bottom surface of the receiving part is preferably horizontal.
- the degree of freedom in the direction in the horizontal plane on which the object to be charged is placed is improved.
- the bottom surface of the receiving portion is horizontal and the axial direction of the power transmission coil is perpendicular to the bottom surface, alternating current based on electromagnetic induction induced in the power receiving coil of the object to be charged by an alternating magnetic field generated from the power transmission coil The voltage increases. Thus, the charging efficiency is improved.
- the upper surface of the plate member is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, so even if the metal foreign matter falls on the plate member, the metal foreign matter is placed on the plate member. To the outside of the charging device. For this reason, the approach of the metal foreign object to the power transmission coil can be suppressed by the plate member, and the abnormal temperature rise of the metal foreign object due to electromagnetic induction heating can be suppressed.

- the housing 20 has a housing upper surface 21 that is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane.
- the housing 20 has a concave receiving portion 23 having an opening 22 that opens upward.
- the bottom surface 24 of the receiving part 23 is preferably horizontal.
- the power transmission coil 60 is disposed in the housing 20 so as to face the bottom surface 24 from below.
- the power transmission coil 60 is preferably arranged so that the axial direction is perpendicular to the bottom surface 24.
- the power transmission coil 60 generates an alternating magnetic field when an AC voltage is applied thereto.
- the plate member 30 is supported by the support member 40.
- the support member 40 has an L shape in this embodiment.
- the support member 40 has one end fixed to the plate member 30 and the other end pivotally supported by the housing 20. Thereby, the plate member 30 is displaceable between a predetermined first position shown in FIG. 1 and a predetermined second position shown in FIG.
- the spring 50 is a torsion spring, for example, and urges the plate member 30 from the second position toward the first position.
- the first position is a position separated from the power transmission coil 60 above the power transmission coil 60.
- the plate member 30 is disposed at the first position during non-charging.
- the plate member 30 closes at least a part of the opening 22 at the first position. In this embodiment, the plate member 30 closes substantially the entire area of the opening 22 at the first position.
- At least the upper surface 31 of the plate member 30 is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane at the first position.
- the plate member 30 has a uniform thickness. It is preferable that the upper surface 31 of the plate member 30 is disposed substantially flush with the housing upper surface 21 at the first position.

Alternatively, it slides down from the upper surface 21 of the housing to the outside of the charging device 10. For this reason, the approach to the power transmission coil 60 by the foreign metal is suppressed by the plate member 30.
- an extension portion 25 that extends to the downstream side is provided at the upstream upper edge portion of the receiving portion 23.
- the dimension of the extending portion 25 is preferably substantially the same as that of the plate member 30.
- the extending portion 25 is formed so as to cover the gap between the upstream side surface 26 of the receiving portion 23 and the plate member 30.
- the second position is a position where the plate member 30 is close to the bottom surface 24 of the receiving portion 23 as shown in FIG.
- the approach to the power transmission coil 60 of the charging target 100 is permitted.
- plate member 30 is displaced to the second position against the biasing force of spring 50 due to the weight of charged body 100.
- the plate member 30 holds the object to be charged 100 on the upper surface 31 at the second position during charging.
- the charged object 100 is placed on the plate member 30, and the plate member 30 is displaced to the second position so as to be close to the power transmission coil 60.
- An alternating magnetic field is applied to the charging body 100 and the object to be charged is charged.
- the upper surface 31 of the plate member 30 is preferably disposed horizontally at the second position. As described above, the object to be charged 100 is placed on the plate member 30 during charging. When charged body 100 has a display portion like a cordless phone handset, it is preferable that the display portion of charged body 100 does not face downward during charging. If the upper surface 31 of the plate member 30 is horizontally disposed at the second position, the display unit is unlikely to face downward in any direction in the horizontal plane. Therefore, if the upper surface 31 of the plate member 30 is horizontally disposed at the second position, the degree of freedom in the direction in the horizontal plane on which the charged object 100 is placed is improved.
- FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing an electrical configuration of the contactless charging apparatus 10.
- the charging device 10 includes an oscillation circuit 61, a switching circuit 62, and a rectifier circuit 63 in addition to the power transmission coil 60.
- the charged object 100 includes a rechargeable battery 101, a rectifying / smoothing circuit 102, and a power receiving coil 103.
- the rectifier circuit 63 rectifies the AC voltage supplied from the commercial power source 200 into a DC voltage and outputs the DC voltage to the switching circuit 62.
- the switching circuit 62 detects the state of charge of the rechargeable battery 101 of the object to be charged 100, and outputs a DC voltage to the oscillation circuit 61 when the rechargeable battery 101 is not in a predetermined full charge state. - the oscillation circuit 61 converts the DC voltage output from the switching circuit 62 into an AC voltage, and outputs the AC voltage to the power transmission coil 60.
- the power transmission coil 60 generates an alternating magnetic field by the AC voltage output from the oscillation circuit 61.
- AC voltage based on electromagnetic induction is induced in the power receiving coil 103 by the alternating magnetic field generated from the power transmitting coil 60.

- the bottom surface 24 of the receiving portion 23 and the top surface 31 of the plate member 30 at the second position are both horizontal, and the axial direction of the power transmission coil 60 is perpendicular to the bottom surface 24. For this reason, the axial direction of the power transmission coil 60 and the axial direction of the power reception coil 103 are likely to be parallel. Therefore, the AC voltage based on the electromagnetic induction induced in the power receiving coil 103 of the object to be charged 100 by the alternating magnetic field generated from the power transmitting coil 60 is increased, and the charging efficiency is improved.
- the upper surface 31 of the plate member 30 is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, even when a metal foreign object such as a coin falls on the upper surface 31 of the plate member 30, 30 slides down from above and does not enter the receiving portion 23. - the plate member 30C is disposed at the second position, and the charged object 100 is placed in the receiving portion 23C.
- power transmission coil 60C and power reception coil 103 face each other, and an alternating magnetic field is applied from power transmission coil 60C to power reception coil 103.
- Charger 100 is charged.
- the bottom surface 24C of the receiving portion 23C is preferably horizontal.
- the degree of freedom in the direction in the horizontal plane on which the charged body 100 is placed is improved.
- the alternating magnetic field generated from the power transmission coil 60C induces the power reception coil 103 of the charged object 100.
- the AC voltage based on the electromagnetic induction is increased, and the charging efficiency is improved.
