Definitions
- the present invention relates to a speaker built-in chair. More specifically, the present invention relates to a speaker built-in chair that incorporates each speaker constituting a multi-channel speaker system and reproduces sound in accordance with an image displayed on a display surface of a front image display device.
- the center speaker reproduces the sound from the front, such as the dialogue of the characters in the video, but the dialogue of the video characters is close to your body by incorporating the center speaker into the chair. Will cause the viewer to feel uncomfortable.
- a 5.1 channel surround speaker will be described as an example.
- the sound output from the surround speaker is reflected by the second reflector and returns toward the seated viewer.
- the viewer who has listened to the reflected sound has the illusion that the sound source is far away from the position where the surround speaker is actually installed. That is, a virtual sound source of sound reproduced by a surround speaker is created at a distance.
- the speaker built-in chair according to claim 5 is such that a center speaker is installed at the center in the width direction facing the front. Therefore, when the first reflector is installed in front of the speaker built-in chair, the sound of the center speaker is emitted toward the first reflector and is reflected by the first reflector and sits on the chair. Come back straight to the viewer.
- the speaker built-in chair according to claim 7 is provided with a diffusion surface in which irregular irregularities are continuously formed on the reflection surface of the second reflector. Therefore, the sound reflected by the second reflector is irregularly reflected by the diffusing surface, and the reflected sound can be prevented from concentrating on a specific place.
- the speaker built-in chair according to claim 8 includes a subwoofer, and includes an opening that opens to the seated person and communicates with the space behind the diaphragm of the subwoofer. Therefore, when the air in the space behind the diaphragm is vibrated by the vibration of the diaphragm of the subwoofer, an air flow through the opening is formed, and a wind is generated from the opening toward the seated person.
- the leg portion may be a speaker box provided separately from the chair body.
- the speaker box may be a pair of left and right speaker boxes as in the speaker built-in chair according to claim 11.
- a virtual sound source of sound reproduced by the center speaker can be created in the front, so that, for example, a speech spoken by a video character can be heard from the direction of the video display device. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a sense of discomfort caused by the sound of the center speaker being heard from a different direction from the video.
- the center speaker can be incorporated into the chair, and a so-called all-in-one chair can be provided for the speaker of the multi-channel speaker system. That is, it is possible to achieve both the incorporation of the multi-channel speaker system into the chairs of all speakers and the natural way of hearing the sound reproduced by the center speaker.
- the multi-channel speaker system has a large number of speakers, so wiring and construction becomes troublesome if speakers are provided separately, but the trouble of wiring and construction can be eliminated by using the all-in-one method, as well as moving and layout. It is possible to easily move the place due to a change or the like, and further improve usability. And by incorporating all the speakers into the chair, it is possible to create a sound field that wraps around the chair, and you can enjoy powerful sound personally without making a loud sound that resonates throughout the room. That is, a realistic sensation can be easily obtained with a small volume. On the other hand, it is possible to prevent other people inside and outside the room from being disturbed by noise. Furthermore, since there is no need to place wiring or separate speakers in the room, the room can be made clean.
- a speaker When a speaker is incorporated in a chair, the speaker is incorporated in a position close to the seated person.
- a virtual sound source can be created at a position away from the viewer by reflecting the sound emitted from the speaker to the second reflector. Therefore, you can enjoy a more realistic sound.
- the first reflector is installed in front of the speaker built-in chair.
- the speaker built-in chair according to claim 5 since the center speaker is installed facing the front in the center in the width direction, the sound of the center speaker is seated on the chair as compared with the case where the center speaker is provided at another position. Can be reflected most toward the viewer. Therefore, the sound of the center speaker can be heard efficiently.
- the sound of the left and right front speakers can also be reflected by the first reflector so that the reflected sound can be heard. Can be made far away.
- the speaker built-in chair according to claim 11 can be adapted to chair bodies having different widths by adjusting the distance between the left and right speaker boxes in accordance with the width of the chair body.
- FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the orientation adjusting device taken along line IV-IV in FIG. 3. It is sectional drawing which shows the attachment state of a surround speaker.
- FIG. 4 is a perspective view which shows an example of embodiment of the speaker built-in chair of this invention.

- a worm gear 16 is attached to the output shaft of the turning drive motor 15, and the worm gear 16 meshes with a gear portion 14 a formed on the turning plate 14. Therefore, the rotation of the turning drive motor 15 is decelerated and transmitted to the turning plate 14.
- the orientation adjusting device 9 is not limited to one that can adjust the orientation of the center speaker 2 in both the left-right direction and the up-down direction, but can be adjusted only in either the left-right direction or the up-down direction. It may be.
- the vertical adjustment mechanism 11 includes, for example, a support body 17 fixed to the swivel plate 14, a holder 19 attached to the support body 17 so as to be rotatable about a horizontal axis 18, and a tilt of the holder 19 by rotating the holder 19.
- the actuator 20 is configured.
- the actuator 20 is, for example, an electric motor (hereinafter referred to as a vertical drive motor 20).
- a worm gear 21 is attached to the output shaft of the vertical drive motor 20, and the worm gear 21 meshes with a gear portion 19 a formed on the holder 19. Therefore, the rotation of the vertical drive motor 20 is decelerated and transmitted to the holder 19.
- the holder 19 can be rotated upward or downward to change the inclination.
- the operation switches (not shown) of the motors 15 and 20 are provided on the upper surface of the armrest 7, for example. Both the turning drive motor 15 and the up / down driving motor 20 may be operated by one operation switch, or the turning drive motor 15 and the up / down driving motor 20 are respectively operated using separate operation switches. You may make it operate separately.
- the motors 15 and 20 of the direction adjusting device 9 (hereinafter referred to as the left and right direction adjusting device 9) of the left and right center speakers 2 may be operated by the left and right common operation switches, or the left and right direction adjusting device.
