Une partie d'évaluation d'enregistrement (20c) identifie un programme de diffusion de la préférence la plus élevée d'un observateur et évalue si le programme de diffusion est en cours d'enregistrement, ou fait l'objet d'une programmation d'enregistrement par une partie d'enregistrement et de reproduction. Lorsqu'il est évalué que le programme de diffusion à afficher sur la partie d'affichage lorsque l'alimentation est fournie n'est pas le programme de diffusion de la préférence la plus élevée, et que ni un enregistrement ni une programmation d'enregistrement n'est réalisé, une partie de détermination d'affichage (12a) décide de prendre en charge la sélection de programmes pour visualiser le programme de diffusion de la préférence la plus élevée.
