  • the composition is used by laying a desired amount of gel toothpaste on a soft toothbrush, by softly brushing both dental arches moving downwards the toothbrush for about two minutes, and stressing on the teeth regions that are close to the zone of the mucous membrane that is affected by the inflammatory/ulcerative processes. Then the mouth is washed with plenty of water. The procedure should be repeated three times a day, after the meals; food and drinking should be avoided for at least one hour after applying the gel toothpaste.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition sous forme de lotion de lavage buccal, de gel topique ou de pâte dentifrice, destinée à prévenir et à traiter la stomatite, les ulcérations et les lésions continues de la muqueuse buccale. La composition comprend de la résine de myrrhe comme extrait fluide et du chlorure ou autre sel de zinc soluble. Ladite composition comprend également, de préférence, une substance désinfectante, de préférence de type cationique, par exemple le gluconate de chlorhexidine, ainsi que de l'acide glycyrrhétique, par exemple l'acide glycyrrhétique 18-β. La composition présente des propriétés analgésiques, anti-inflammatoires et désinfectantes supérieures à celles des produits fréquemment utilisés pour la stomatite et les ulcères de la muqueuse buccale, grâce à une action synergétique des propriétés désinfectantes du ion de zinc et de l'activité désinfectante et analgésique de la résine de myrrhe, de préférence avec une action anti-inflammatoire spécifique de l'acide glycyrrhétique. Une substance mucoadhésive éventuelle peut augmenter l'efficacité de la composition grâce à son adhérence sur les lésions à traiter, augmentant ainsi la durée d'action des principes actifs sur les lésions.
