Abstract

 本発明の超音波診断装置は、バイアス電圧供給部により供給されるバイアス電圧の大きさによって電気機械結合係数が変わる複数の振動要素を有する超音波探触子と、前記超音波探触子から受信される反射エコー信号に基づいて超音波画像を構成する超音波画像構成部と、前記超音波画像を表示する表示部と、を備えた超音波診断装置であって、前記振動要素のコラプス電圧に対する前記バイアス電圧の大きさを演算する演算部と、前記演算されたバイアス電圧の大きさを記憶する記憶部と、前記記憶されたバイアス電圧の大きさにより前記バイアス電圧供給部に前記バイアス電圧を前記振動要素に供給させる制御部と、を備える。
