Abstract

 リチウム二次電池の寿命推定方法では、充放電サイクルの経過に伴い、異なるサイクル数だけ充放電したときのリチウム二次電池の、放電後の開回路時の電圧を、少なくとも2回検出する。そして各電圧値のうち少なくとも2つを各サイクル数に対してプロットする。さらに各プロット点を通る円弧を描き、この円弧の大きさに基づき、リチウム二次電池の寿命を推定する。この寿命推定に基づいてリチウム二次電池の充電および放電を制御することにより劣化の進行を抑制することができる。
