Abstract

 位置情報取得までに要する時間を短縮することが可能な位置情報提供システムが提供される。屋内送信機(200―1)は、複数の衛星からのスペクトラム拡散信号である第1の測位信号とコンパチブルな第2の測位信号を用いて、位置情報を提供する。屋内送信機(200―1)は、自身が設置される場所を特定するための位置データを格納するEEPROM(243)と、位置データを含む第2の測位信号をスペクトラム拡散信号として生成するFPGA(245)と、スペクトラム拡散信号を送信する送信部(251~258)とを備える。第2の測位信号は、第1の測位信号よりも短い周期で同一内容を繰り返すように生成される。
