Abstract

 ライトストラテジのパラメータに従って光記録媒体(500)に情報を記録する記録方法において、光ディスク(500)への所定量の情報の記録(S23)と記録を中断してバッファメモリ(190)へのデータの蓄積を待つ待機状態(S22)とが繰り返される場合に、記録の中断される期間に直前に記録した情報を再生し、その再生信号の品質を測定し(S25A)、必要に応じてライトストラテジを変更する(S25C)ことで安定した記録品質を得る。1回の中断期間に行なわれる補正を1回に限定する。光ディスク上の記録位置の変化、記録条件の変化に対して、安定した記録品質が得られるようになる。
