Abstract

 電源位相検出部4の出力を受けて、負荷制御部5からスイッチング素子(負荷駆動部3)へ任意の導通角で送信されるトリガ信号により照明負荷1を点灯制御する照明装置において、前記負荷制御部5は、電源投入後の所定の期間は、商用電源ACの導通角をいずれの照明負荷1(白熱灯、電球型蛍光灯、LED灯)でも点灯できる位相でスイッチング素子をONし、その期間で照明負荷1の種類を判別する判別部5aを有し、判別部5aで判別された照明負荷1の種類に応じた所定の動作モードに切り替える。
