Abstract

 この予備還元鉄の製造方法は、製鉄プロセスで発生する製鉄ダストおよび鉄鉱石からなる群より選択される酸化鉄原料を、所定の水分含有率まで乾燥させる乾燥工程と;この乾燥工程後の前記酸化鉄原料と、所定水分含有率の還元材とを混合して混合物を得る混合工程と;この混合工程で得られた前記混合物を、篩下80%粒径で70μm~500μmまで粉砕する粉砕工程と;この粉砕工程後の前記混合物の水分含有率を調整した後、この混合物を混練する混練工程と;この混練工程後の前記混合物を塊成化して塊成物とする塊成化工程と;この塊成化工程で得られた前記塊成物を回転炉床炉により還元し、予備還元鉄を生成する生成工程と;を含む。
